The events leading up & the results from the South in 2011 can't ever be wished away, the way the campaigns were prosecuted, especially in 2015, the name calling, smear jobs, outright falsehoods, threats of fallout incase a particular candidate is rigged out or another is unreturned and the overt hostility from some groups left a lot to desired.. It was in bad faith.

Be that as it may, even though he is human & possess the requisite emotions & idiosyncrasies, irrespective of past events & continued wave of recalcitrant & hostile opposition, he should do the needful.

Buhari needs to do more by way of reconciliation, he is the president despite all the odds, he should not give in to that "voice" wounds shouldn't be allowed to fester..
