With such intellectuals, one would have assumed patents, industries, high-tech agricultural domains would dote the landscape.

Ekiti wants to tell us the leadership of Fayose, if not the best, was adequate, and for me, that is an insult on their so-called academic prowess.
Not just because of his limited education, but for the fact that nothing of any significance was achieved under his rule.

To claim paucity of funds, can only mean Ekiti hasnt learnt to harness from the resources- human and capital that abounds.

it is a pity that an unrepentant ,uneducated and antidemocratic rogue who said 6 is greater than 13 is ruling Ekiti presently. It is on record that this thug was rigged into power GEJ in 2014 ( remember Gen Momoh, Obanikoro, and co) over a more urbane, educated ,polished and resourceful Fayemi who raised the state's IGR to N150m monthly which Fayose is currently stealing.

One would have thought that in his second coming, 'spotless' ( a nickname from 419 exploits) would have taken advantage of Ekiti's agricultural potentials to form business alliances across Nigeria and beyond like LAKE initiative (Lagos-Kebbi Rice ) or any other dev initiative like doubling Fayemi's social security to Elderly folks; promoting SME hubs that take youths whose minds he constantly poisons off the streets; but hell no Fayose's only achievement has been refusing workers' salaries ,lightfingering Ekiti, lying, thuggery and distracting Ekiti people from asking questions about his fraudulent stewardship in the name of abusing PMB as opposition so called bulldog.
In few weeks time all that would be taken care of when Fayemi takes over from this tout.

I think our society in general is on a decline on the Intelligence Metrics. More and more people are becoming less than mediocres and have refused to take responsibilities to augment their qualities of understanding.

I often tell people who care to listen that I can date or marry just any woman and the relationship will be superb, Yes and I mean it. Because, my perception of the world is totally out of the range of reasoning of the average Joe. you are pretty cosmopolitan and that is why you have wide sympathies compared to most folks around whose views about life are warped, biased and uninformed. A religious society ,not spiritual please ,that feel if you ain't a member of their church/ religious sect, you are not of God or who blames you for naturally being gay and quote biblical verses to support such evil prejudices would find it difficult to flow with someone that appreciate freedom. But then there are a lot of pretty educated and broadminded Nigerian that combine our cultural peculiarities, discipline ,native intelligence with a cosmopolitan disposition which maybe lacking in most , not all please,ladies from " me and my husband alone" backgrounds. I have seen a bit of it all and can tell we have very wonderful women folks who have held our society sane despite the accumulated sociocultural mistreatment we have subjected them to for why are the white folks picking the same rejected women if they totally bad as most of our guys would want you to believe.

I think irrespective of colour, we should just go for partners that flow with our rhythms. A lot Nigerian women are wonderful and cosmopolitan and those male folks demarketing them are worse off and wont be tolerated by most polished folks.
