suco01: Ok. Na same normal route was thinking there is another route, why from sangotedo u come.pass Berger u suppose pass Ajah to sagamu Abi the road far pass berger own. though I haven't tried it. the one i tried was from oshodi link ikorodu to sagamu to Ibadan and I regret taking that route, would rather be in mowe/ibafo/redeem traffic for 5hrs than that route I have not used that Ajah route before, the farthest I have gone on that Lagos Epe Expressway is ‘Eleran Igbe Ibeju-Lekki’. I did an offline trip there on Monday and I don’t think I want to return there anytime soon. I never knew you can start a Fuel Dispensing machine like a generator until I went there on Monday. I wanted to buy fuel before leaving there and the fuel attendant went to the back of the machine and started pulling it |

If you are going to the mainland (Berger area) from the island, use alternative route. From Ogudu axis.
Had to turn back to use Mile 12 road to connect Lagos Ibadan.

Felicity0001: Sometimes daily. Taje for instance, as I left the house this morning I went straight to the filling station where I usually buy pms; filling it cost me #4,400 with some fraction because I'd fuel in the tank b4. I started lahe today because I had to do about 20km(1hr: 29min) to visit mechanic which wasnt even around (the tin pain me reach blood) and I closed early today being Monday. b4 getting home the fuel level has gone below half tank. Tomorrow I'll have to refill again b4 going online.
Some days I buy fuel up to 10k. 10k fuel for a days job? |

My car was almost towed by LG touts around Ikoyi today. Guys don’t park anywhere around Temple drive, Olu-Holloway! These guys go around in a private car, they will block you and before you know it their towing van will cross you down.
I was having a difficulty ending a trip I took to that area, rider was impatient, she just dropped the lowest figure of the trip estimate and left. I drove out of the building onto the road so I could find someone to share his network with me. I was still talking with someone when I saw a car driving straight to me with towing van following behind, I quickly ran into my car, lock the doors and engage reverse but they were too close, they boxed me in one corner.
Luckily the security guys around there were already tired of their excesses, they were the ones who came to my rescue.
While the security guys were dragging with them I remained calm in the car, one was knocking on the glass that I should roll down the glass, I didn’t answer.
After so much of going back and forth, they left.
Guys before you park under that tree to wait for request, think twice! |

donfortune48: Something terrible and miraculous happened today guys. @12pm.
I was at Oando filling station marina when this request came in.......... I think this is a setup or a new trick of catching drivers unaware. Yesterday around 4pm, after I read Northbird’s comment to someone here that any day you don’t work, you won’t see shishi, I quickly got off bed and hit the road, I was still driving within my estate when I got a request to UBA house Marina from Ajah. Sharp girl and mom, they said please end the trip when you get to the ramp before turning towards uba house so we can pay you and quickly come down. I didn’t want them to come down in the middle of the road I just drove close to one of those cbd tout, good enough I know him, he asked if I wanted to park, I said No, I just need to drop off this people and go, he said Oya now and they alighted. Then a request came in on a 1.9x surge to Ikoyi, juicy right? , I quickly put a call through to the lady so we can agree on a better pick up point. She said she’s at the park around the Cathedral church, I told her to come wait by the road side and not inside the park, she said okay. Immediately the traffic light signaled to GO, I called her again that I’m approaching so she should be on stand by, I got there and I didn’t see her, I moved forward a bit and was reversing slowly back to the cathedral while talking with her on phone , I still didn’t see this girl. Something just said to me that if you like yourself you better forget about this trip. I didn’t give it a second thought I cancelled and left also blocked her line. It didn’t take long before I got another better request that comes with peace of mind. Correct guys, picked them on Campbell street and they were already waiting by the roadside. |

waks1: Some of those toll attendants are thief. I passed admiralty toll plaza and I always like to pay with cash there so as to reserve my etag credit for the lekki-ikoyi link toll since that is strictly non-cash, so I gave this guy cash 1k and he balanced me my change after which he press a button and thank God I notice the electronic balance display which shows I have also been charged on my etag. I quickly challenged him and he came out of the cubicle and return my cash. I told him is this how you guys keep robbing unsuspecting users of their hard-earned money. When you get sacked now ur eye go clear. Guy be vigilant when using the toll so as to avoid double payment especially when u have etag. Since I noticed their scam, I keep a low balance on my etag account, I only recharge it when I need to pass through the link bridge. Under 3minutes I can top up so I’m not always bothered about having a low balance. |

Felicity0001: Hey guys please please and please you guys should be watchful and smart when dealing with those LCC workers at the toll gates they're stupid, illiterate, thieves, heartless in FACT call them anything y I u can think of.
3-4 days ago one of them guys gave me a bad N500 note as change, I'd already gotten home when i notice. Kept the money in the car with the hope to use it anytime I pass through the toll gate. Yesterday, as I was to pass through fortunately it was the same guy that gave me the note. Giving him the same money the guy siezed the money saying no change for me unless I bring another one. He never accepted he gave me the money (of course what proof do I've after all?) They suceeded in wasting my time even their oga at the customer care office stood in support of him. I'd to guve him another 1k note b4 I was able to continue my trip.
But thank God I'd the last laugh at the end of the day, I used the same money to pay passing through in my next toll.
So guys always look every note they give you as change each time you pass. If you're not ok with it reject it instantly.
Also, always make sure you collect receipt each time you pass the toll gate just for evident should your toll not included in the total fare. Two weeks back I lost 200box using the ecard on lekki toll gate, no receipt is printed each time I use the card, uber requested I take a photo of the receipt but I'd not evidence I just let it slide though.
Lastly, always check for the time and date printed on the ticket given to you for evidence purpose because should your fare not be included those r the information uber needs to refund you. Make sure these 2 information tallys as when you pass the toll gate. Most cases I've been tickets printed 5min 10min backwards.
To before warn is to before arm. I don’t argue with them when they give me bad notes because I’m going to give it back to them and they dare not try to reject it but one thing I have noticed is when you pass the exact fare lane I get charged from my etag account and still pay the fare with cash. I complained to one of them and he said I should stick to my lane (Etag lane) ....and it’s not only the exact fare lane that does this. Well it makes no sense to me because I prefer to pay cash at the admiralty toll for change. |

Chuwaa: Just go back to like 100 pages back and read. I used mine and ended up selling it off after just 5months. This car is not suited for Uber and to compound your I pending doom, yours is 3.0 engine, I used 2.4 and it was guzzling fuel.
Be ready to change all your suspension every two weeks. In conclusion, you'll be working for the fuel station and mechanics.
Possible issues.
Engine seat Suspensions MPG Steering rack Power locks.
This car is not engineered for the stress that comes with Uber. Power lock, steering rack issues has nothing to do with driving the car on Uber. As for the fuel issue a 2.4 engine isn’t that bad, people use Camry for e-hailing and it’s the same engine capacity. Bad as e bad with 1k fuel minimum I make is 4K (Gross) I also disagree with you on the suspension part. Honda is known to have one of the best suspension system (if you don’t use China parts) Well his is a V6, so it won’t be friendly with fuel in this Lagos traffic. To make the best out of this ehailing business you need a car with 1.4 to 2.0 engine capacity IMO. |
