Ade is a unisex prefix. A lady can bear Adeola, Adebola, Adesola etc

Kunle is mainly for males truly. Extremely rare to see a lady named Kunle.
I know Yoruba women called Deola,Debola and Desola but none with the Ade prefix.

Baba dey lie small small
Adeola, Adebola, Lolade...the are all female Yoruba names with the suffix or prefix "ADE."

However, Adekunle is a male name. But since the person who got the original admission would have been maybe 80 years today, it is possible that 80 years ago, it was ok for females to also bear ADEKUNLE.

It could also be a case of a female child picking up two surnames, one from her father (Tinubu) n one from her husband(Adekunle).

In all, if BAT is not Bola Adekunle Tinubu (F), then which school did he go to? Because d only person that went to that school is Adekunle.

BAT obviously is a very educated man, nobody can mention it in front of me that he is not educated but which school?

Lol, so you know Yoruba women called Ade, well good for you.

Go and read again. The person who attended the university and NYSC indicated she is female. 'Bola' is a female name
Looks like you are not Yoruba. Bola is a unisex name in Yorubaland and could be male or female but Adekunle is exclusively a male name and is never female. The prefix Ade is male and the second part Kunle is male.Clearly the person arguing is not Yoruba

With every passing day, things continue to look more and more bleak for Tinubu at the Presidential Election Petition Court.

And today, the candidate of the PDP in the last general elections, Atiku Abubakar, seemed to have saved the best for last as he presented what can be tagged a bombshell in court as he closed his case.

Few takeaway points for quick considerations:-

The Certified Copies of Certificates from Chicago State University in America returned with the name Bola Adekunle Tinubu (Female). Same name and gender was in the Certified True Copies of NYSC certificate.

This is worlds apart with Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Male), the candidate who stood for election under the APC.

Over to APC boys and their lawyers. Do you still think Atiku doesn’t have a case?

Lol Adekunle is not a female name in Yorubaland

Good day house, please, how long does Aliexpress Standard shipping (Singapore Post) take i.e from dispatch to oversea?

Any one with recent experience?
The last one for me was 19 days or so. It was stuck on " departed from transit country" until I got a call from the post office.

That's what people thought too before it got to this stage. Should that happen, prepare for hyperinflation. I hope sincerely it works out for PBAT govt.
If it gets to 1000 to one and Nigerians are still buying it then we need to put pressure on Guinness world records to recognize Nigerians as the most stupid people on earth.
Let's analyse the purchasing power of the naira using the current rates .In Lagos you would eat comfortably with 760 naira as long as you steer clear of imported food. You would starve in new York with only a dollar in your pocket and it's not possible to feed yourself in London with a pound, the days of buying sausage and chips for a pound for lunch is long gone.
I believe there is something seriously wrong with the Nigerian thinking apparatus. It's like we are exchanging goats for rabbits and not bothered about it. I do my shopping on AliExpress mainly during the sales because our mismanagement of the economy is making us give money away.I hope people use their brains if it gets to 1000 to one.

Personally, I won't rush to open Dom account. I'll wait and see what happens in coming weeks..... As per prepaid dollar card , I learnt that Nigerian banks have now introduced stamp duty, this is in addition to the annual maintenance fee.
Therewas no stamp duty on my recent dollar deposit with GTB

Does the dollar account comes with a dollar card? What's the difference between a Dom and a dollar account with gtbank? Thanks baami, ba i sí
Alafia ni o. The dollar account has a GTB dollar card which I got within two hours.
With the domiciliary account you can actually deal in pounds Sterling, dollars and Euros but with the dollar card you are limited to US dollars and I really think that you would mostly have to bring physical dollars to the cashier. Yesterday I asked a friend of mine to send dollars from his domiciliary account to my dollar account and the transaction was not successful.

Ideally, this would work if there would be an fx source to meet demand for it. If not, the naira to dollar rate might tank to almost 2,000 to dollar before the year is out. It's a gamble that may work or backfire......fingers crossed.
People would not be comfortable with buying dollar at 2000 to one so demand would evaporate,in fact I doubt if there will be many takers at 1000 to one.

Ohh. Okay. Can you transfer to it, and did you pay $10 upfront, and in what currency, if yes.

Also, are there any individual transaction fees attached?

No vex for my 1000 question o
The cashier told me I would not be able to transfer into it but people on this board have told me that she was wrong as they were able to transfer into it. I did not pay upfront and they deducted from my first dollar deposit which was very annoying at the time. There are no transaction fees, all you pay is the annual fee.

Sorry Man. But i have a theory that is a little bit wild. I think some CC reps in these banks know more than thier colleagues cuz i first spoke with a lady who told me about the 2 reference form issh, i then asked another CC rep (A man btw) who just ask me for my existing account number and boom,i have sent the dom account no. inside 4 hrs with the internet log in details as well.
If you have a similar account with them already then there is no reason for them to be asking you to supply the same documents over again for example someone with a current account should be able to open a domiciliary account on the spot while someone with a savings account should be able to open a dollar card account. It's just common sense but unfortunately it's lacking in Nigeria

What charges are attached to running a dorm account with GT. Like overall charges pls.
Mine is a GTB dollar account, not domiciliary. The fee is ten dollars per year and you only need bvn, photograph and id card to open it.

I bought $135 at 765 per dollar at Abeokuta itoku market in the afternoon , deposited it in my GTB dollar account, got home and hit the pay now button. Summer sales is now taken care of and I'm likely to stick with the dollar account for payments in the future. The virtual cards are getting problematic.

I used to enjoy comments on NL. But of late, the comment section has been a battle between Tinubu's supporters and Obi's supporters. How people bring in tribal and religious sentiments to every news on NL is just baffling.
Someone is already saying he can't wait to vote Tinubu for president in 2027 when so far, the outcome of his vote in 2023 has not been favourable yet. What else would make him have this assertions if not political, tribal or religious affiliations?

We are all in Nigeria. We have all seen how politicians use our common wealth recklessly. I live in Edo state. I walked pass someone campaigning some years back and she was telling people why they should vote for her. And her reason was, if I chop, u go chop so they called her chop I chop. U can already guess the party

We finally saw someone who from his antecedent, we can trust with money; and if u must be honest with yourselves, u know u can't say the same for the other two but for political, tribal or religious sentiments, u chose to vote for someone who's been tainted with lots of corruption scandals; someone who age has obviously caught up with and who's health is clearly not ok, and now to defend your decision you spoil the image of Obi, choose not to see anything good about him, and find every reason to defend the policy of Tinubu even though u are already feeling the negative effects.
We truly deserve our leaders.

For someone who doesn't have the means to leave this country, I sincerely pray that Nigeria gets better even under this government because if we continue like this, we may not have a country to call our own in not too distant future.
Your hypocrisy stinks. You are very much guilty of what you accuse others of based on your post.Okay, you hate apc but must you hate Tinubu at personal level..I did not vote Tinubu because I thought all of them are equally bad but I'm glad he won because he's the best of a really bad lot
