BIGTinfotech: Kindly name a Hit song/music written, sang or produced by Him. I'm not a fan of famous music artiste, especially those in the early 60's, so if you're indeed legendary.... At least I've heard of 'The Beatles'. By the way...I'm in no way saying He wasn't popular. Let's dance was a huge hit in 1983 and prior to that ' starman' which was recently used to great effect in the Ben Stiller film the secret life of Walther Mitty. His music might not suit the Nigerian music pallette though as it was pop and rock oriented |

BIGTinfotech: May His gentle soul RIPP!
However, the word LEGENDARY should be used when it's absolutely necessary. For crying out loud, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, need no introduction. That's who you call legendary. David Bowie was indeed legendary. The word was not misused |

Having the largest army, police, nyash, or bowl of peppa soup doesn't mean anything if they are ineffective, corrupt, and a disgrace- ditto the NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE.
Nonsense You are one hundred percent correct. Nigerian police contribute more to the crime rate in this country than the civilian criminals do |
Culture › Re: Why Should Corpse Be Thrown Out Of Window? by Babalegba(m): 12:49pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
Bobbyjay001: This happened just of recent. I got home(my dad's house) on friday for my grandma's burial and was told my maternal grandma's corpse would be thrown out through window. I asked why? They said because she died in her in-law's house and it's taboo in yorubaland for such corpse to be carried out through the main door. I thought it a joke until friday when she was to be laid outside for lying in state. Truely,my grandma's corpse was thrown through the window in her room. This still baffles me. Why will yoruba especially christians still believe in this thrash? Mama had been living with us since 19years ago. My mum is her first child and she had just one surviving son who is yet to build a house. Please, elucidate more comprehensively to me why this ought to called "culture". Speechless, idiocy of the highest order. I did not know that some Yoruba people are still that idiotic. |

Kelklein: There has been a media frenzy (both print and online) following the tribunal judgement in Taraba celebrating Senator Aisha Alhassan as the first female governor in Nigeria.
I want to quickly correct here, for the sake of education, that she is not the first female governor Nigeria has had. The first female governor was Virginia Etiaba of Anambra state. According to Wikipedia, Dame Virginia Ngozi Etiaba was the Governor of Anambra State, a state in south-eastern Nigeria, from November 2006 to February 2007. She is the first female governor in Nigeria's history.
You can read the full Reporthttps://www.nigerianbestforum.com/generaltopics/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Etiaba.jpg Etiaba is not the first female elected governor |
