Bro, i can categorically tell you that unilag doesn't have lecture halls where anybody sits on the floor. I am not saying this because i am trying to hype the school. Renovations are constant in unilag. Probably because it's in the heart of the city. From 24hrs electricity to free wifi to tarred roads and beautiful lawns to air conditioned lecture rooms etc. Although not the best on international standard due to the state of the country, i will say unilag is the one eyed king in the land of the blind. Thanks

Just thinking of how ACN/APC has been in charge of Lagos for decades now, with no opposition party getting the chance to scrutinize their affairs, or prosecute corrupt members of the party and government.

Is this how Lagosians really like it to continue?

Is there any point in conducting elections in Lagos state?

APC seems to have convinced lagosians that it is a Yoruba party and an other political party is of another tribe.

We are not even talking about another tribe ruling, which if we were a true democracy, would not even be a problem. On this subject though, isn’t it funny how Nigerians hail themselves, when other countries give them a chance to govern at any level? But here in Nigeria, it must be the local tribe that governs, talk about hypocrisy.

Back on to the topic, things like the Lagos light rail (supposed to be ready in 2013), lekki toll scam and many other questionable projects just go on unchallenged in Lagos.

I was seriously supporting that gbadamosi Babatunde guy, but even yorubas rejected him cause he is not APC.

Anywho, just my thoughts.

FYI, this also should apply to other states in Nigeria that are becoming one party states. Not good for our democracy at all.

As for Delta state, all past governors should be arrested. They have milked my second state dry.

When I heard of the Billions of naira that was mismanaged by the former Registrar, I shook my head.
If such huge amount of money can be embezzled in NECO, imagine the billions that are leaving other bigger Agencies. It is obvious Nigeria is very rich, yet Federal Government cannot give 5K Palliative to Nigerians. Tufiakwa.

1, maladministration

APC came to power on the crest of lies. They told heaps of lies to confuse the minds of Nigerians. Unfortunately as government in power, they have exhausted their “weaponry” in lies and it is now evidently getting back at them.

3,introduction of heavily monitised election..tinubus bullion van comes to mind.

4,the fight against corruption is encased in politics of selection and skewed towards the opposition,

5,we the people who are the main plank upon which democracy is built can readily infer that the APC has failed the people on all fronts. and that been the case, the very people who enthusiastically brought them to power, will enthusiastically show them the way out at the polls in the 2023 elections..

Anyway the major thing is this. SW presenting a candidate, automatically invalidates the rotation. We will give the north the greenlight to carry on.

I am sure our SS brothers will back us up on this.

The only southern group the SE will consider will be a SS (non-Edo) candidate afterall the SS has only been there for 5 years.

Any SW almajiri candidate is dead on arrival.

Yes !! Power Rotation is not in the constitution meaning even the North Have the Right To contest and continue with presidency in 2023 but if we decide that Equity Demand it rotate then fairness and justice means it must first come to either South East or South South before ever coming to South West again that is atleast another 18 years

If the Argument for power to return to the South in 2023 is for the sake of Equity then it must go to either the South South to complete their 8 years under Jonathan or come to South East which have never produce any Presidency since the end of the Civil War in 1970.

If the South West want to jettison this perfect scenario for selfish ambition then Power Rotation arrangement need to be scrap and every region will be free to contest as far as you have the population to win including the North in 2023 .

i wont speak for the S/s they can support the South West ambition but we the South East will gladly vote a Hausa/Fulani with an Igbo VP in 2023 to continue with the Presidency than vote the South West Candidate . This is 21st Century our fathers where marginalized for over 50 years the Biafra war is long gone we the new generation children will not continue to be treated like second class citizen in our own country which our fathers fought and paid the price for Nigeria independence.

Those who advocate for Power Rotation must do so in Honesty and Equity not to grab power for themselves . Every Single Region in Nigeria from the Middle Belt , to south west , North, South East and South South all have capable sons and daughters to be the President of Nigeria so its not about the most Qualified every tribe and region have qualified people to lead this country its about Equity , Justice and Fairness
