PoliticsNigeria To Adopt ‘citizenship Diplomacy’ by babasin(op): 9:45am On Sep 12, 2007
Nigeria has announced a “retaliatory” foreign policy, warning that any country that presents Nigeria as corrupt without showcasing the intellect of Nigerians would be declared a “hostile nation”.
In this regard, Maduekwe said “we are simply saying, this diplomacy would be a diplomacy of consequences. If you are nice to us, then of course, we should be nice to you. If you were not nice to us, then of course there would be a cost. This is called the concept of reciprocity. This is called the diplomacy of consequences.”
Ojo Madueke, the new FA minister is stirring-up something big.

is this way to go about this?

should PDP for instance not sack the 'ole' madam speakers?

should 'ole' Mark still be senate president?

should PDP not ask for new election to clean their image from OBJ?

very interesting; they all claim some petty reasons: my marriage, i need money.

this will not fly unless they are first-time offenders

But Nigeria should review its 'socail security' for citizen instead of that 'stupid woman-speaker' in house of assembly spent $5mil to renovate house.
PoliticsRe: Pdp Members Kidnapped! by babasin(op): 9:24am On Sep 11, 2007
getting more interesting:

Suspected militants who seized eleven Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains at Arogbo in Ese-Odo Local Government of Ondo State on Saturday have insisted that the state government must pay a N500million ransom they earlier demanded before all the hostages could be released.
PoliticsPdp Members Kidnapped! by babasin(op): 5:53pm On Sep 10, 2007
Gunmen in southern Nigeria have kidnapped 11 members of the governing People's Democratic Party (PDP).
The gunmen texted news organisations to say their action was in protest at not being paid for helping the party to rig last April's elections.
This is what OBJ left Nigeria with!

What a shame. What a charlatant. And yaradua busy parading himself as president and nigerians all shouting 'lets move on

success is not given but earned. Sadly Nigerians earn what they sow!

and the imperialist comes-in:

THE World Bank has given a pass mark to the economic policies of the Nigerian government in the first 100 days of President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.
which economic policy? the failed naira-episode?

and yaradua already sounding like others before him:

COME 2020, Nigeria will emerge among the world's top 20 economies, leapfrogging from the present lowly 147th position, President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua once again pledged yesterday.
A country that could not generate 3000MW in 8yrs wants to be among 20 best economies within 13years(2020)

PoliticsRe: Yar'adua To Rule For 15 Years? by babasin(op): 5:34pm On Sep 05, 2007
If Yaradua and likes are serious about developing Niger Delta, they dont need any master plan. It never works in Nigeria.

All they need move Federal Capital to Niger Delta from end of next month: that simple

You will see how rapid developement will be there.

Abuja was nothing in 1985. You see what it has become.

Since Nigeria lack basic trust in each other in developing nigeria.

Let them rotate Federal Capital every 20yrs.

2008-2028: Okrika-Niger Delta
2028-2048: Hadejia- North West
2048-2068: Kishi- South West
PoliticsRe: State Police: To Be Or No To Be by babasin(m): 1:04pm On Sep 05, 2007
best thing that will happen to nigeria but it must be well integrated with each states so that:

1. criminal dont run from one state and hide in another.

2. Police law must be uniform across each state.

@McKren
how 15year plan translates into 15year tenure only Babasin would know!!!!!!
simple, yaradua needs 15years to fix niger delta!

new govt coming would not continue with yaradua's policy. They need their own identity.

so it is better, naija allow him 15yrs and niger delta will be forever fixed.

remember: 3rd term started because OBJ wanted 3rd term to complete his reform, which yaradua has already started reversing!
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua To Rule For 15 Years? by babasin(op): 10:08pm On Sep 03, 2007
@tundewoods,

Thanks. but I am reading between the line.

why would you plan for 15years, when you know:

1. max term possible is 8yrs

2. new govt rejects old govt policy; even in developed world

This to me, it sounds as either a novice talk or hidden message.
PoliticsRe: Nelson Mandela Statue: OBJ Would Have Loved This! by babasin(op): 9:41pm On Sep 03, 2007
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said it is still early for Nigerians to give an objective assessment of his eight years in the Presidency.
now OBJ trying to compare himself with Churchil,

He compared the recent assessment of his government since May 29 to the fate of a former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Sir Winston Churchill.
this is man is in denial. what a shame?

what he forget in 'Aso Rock', he has finally recieved: abyss of irrelevance

Mr Yar'Adua said he had a 15-year plan to develop the Niger Delta.
It is known to even a dummy that new government ignores the old government plans in Nigeria.

So is Yaradua (baba-go-slow) planning to stay for another 15 years; so he can fully reform Niger Delta?

I knew it, OBJ never gives up, always wanted to be in the news.

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo’s quest to remain relevant after quitting Aso Rock has propelled him to seek recognition for his controversial N8.5 billion Presidential Library in Abeokuta as one of the World Heritage Sites of the United Nations Educational, Scientific And Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

PoliticsRe: Soludo Begging Yar'adua: Is He A Weakling? by babasin(op): 9:54pm On Aug 28, 2007
I knew it.

Sources in Anambra State, Soludo’s home state have informed this reporter that the CBN Governor has already started putting structures in place for his eventual run for the governorship of the State 4 years from now. To this end, he has started putting key people and materials into places that would benefit his ambition. Soludo had tried to get his cousin, Chike Anyaonu into the House of Representatives during the 2007 April elections. Anyaonu lost to a more popular candidate but that did not stop Soludo from insisting that his cousin must assume the seat. He only gave up, we were told, after former Pres. Olusegun Obasanjo told him nobody could change election results already announced by INEC.
-->

Elendureports.com can now reveal that a team of foreign consultants and contractors who were supposed to work on the new naira notes and coins were already on their way to Nigeria when the Government suspended the re-denomination policy of CBN. Part of the brief for these contractors was the printing of the new naira notes. According to a Presidency source, “we found this curious given that the man had not even gotten the approval of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) and he had touted the Nigerian Mint as a success story. What did he need these people for?” he asked.
Soludo is no longer to be trusted, thats why the hawks are after him now

so what is he still doing in CBN?

They have sent him the message 3-times(economic team + naira palaver + usman becoming his boss); he refuses to read between the line

@Syenite,

This is a plant, from which you can bottled drinking water like Ragolis, Eva etc.

The plant has capacity of 2000 bottle per hr.

You will need to have water purification; the clean-spring-water is then bottled by this plant for you.

No, I dont develop plant.

This is plant is Europe and presently working. The owner is retiring, this good opportunity for nigerian investors.
