Aero Contractors are the safest, they'll get you there in one piece.
Thanks. Thats what people like to know.

How to get their from Abuja, Lagos in one peace and still enjoy the beauty of Calabar.

We should bench mark successfuly tourist destination stories worldwide; Kenya, South Africa, Carribean, Asia, etc

every 10min a plane leaves Heathrow

every 5mins a plane leave JFK

every 6mins a plane leave Changi

may be in your world, it is not safe to fly anywhere! But in those worlds I listed above; flying is next to nothing! easy as eba.

@donmayor
He is not even qualified to head INEC. Shame on OBJ.
No.

It is shame on Nigeria, that they can allow this to happen to them!

People will treat you the way you treat yourself. Thats why Nigeria is country of anything goes. OBJ knows this and using it against Nigerians.

I am not surpised; that what Nigerians gets when you take ex-convinct from 'nigerian prison' to be president.

TravelRe: How To Stop My Brother From Trying To Travel To Malaysia? by babasin(m): 4:51pm On Apr 13, 2007
I dont not support anyone travelling without getting their degree!

Pls ask him to get this first. is he doing IT or engineering? difficult to get work permit but if brillant. Big companies will take him.

Also, I dont suggest him to do laymay job just that economy is booming.

But can you prove all this news on the development of Malaysia? Better than the U.K.? If it reminds you of Nigeria then its not safe.
1. Quality, cheap housing.
2. road better than UK
3. Traing better than UK
4. Good standard of leaving: Your salary enough to sustain you.
5. Very safe.

@Mariory,
You know what? Why don't you just stay where you are and enjoy your life there.
exactly. If this attitude of Tinapa; then we should anyone come to spend their hard earned moneyhuh

You are right, Indonesia, Nigeria, Russia all belong to same classe of unsafe air.

dblock, have you tried emailing a request to the webmasters of the Tinapa site
Now that beats me! So every customer needs to mail webmaster to get a picture! This does not look like ready for business.

Dont tell me you wont like to relax in place like this:

Mind you, my point is whatever we do, we should do properly. No half bake projects.

@9ja4eva,
Please lets stop decieving ourselves.Its nt safe to fly anywhere.Planes crash everywhere.
Wrong again. Plane crash everywhere but it crash most in Nigeria, Russia. So your chances of dying by plane crash is high in those countries.

Also plane dont just drop from Sky. It combination of skills, training, maintenance.

For your delight, another close one just in two days:

@Lephillipe,
Wow, because 3 out of like 1 million planes crashed, you don't want to fly. Then why do you still drive?? Millions more people die on the roads each day, mumu!!
You missed the whole point. NIGERIAN PLANES ARE NOT RELIABLE. IF VIRGIN, WHICH SUPPOSE TO BE THE BEST CAN HAVE THIS PROBLEM. YOU BETTER BE AWARE!!!

I will only fly PLANE from countries with reliable records. For me and my family, no LOCAL FLIGHT IN NIGERIA. PERIOD!

, and why used MUMU, do i take it thats quality of your personality?!

As head of his own research organisation, Bioresources Development and Conservation Programme, he announced at the 1999 International Botanical Congress that he had found a cure for the deadly Ebola virus.

However, this fame was short-lived as it was the last that was ever heard of the revelation.
His cure for Ebola has certainly disappeared without a trace.

depends. Singapore is much advance but too small. Malaysia is really catching up very fast and it big; so room to grow.

Also layman jobs is plenty in Malaysia while Singapore have more technical job.

Above all, I love living in Malaysia.

Always remind me of Nigeria; vegetation, people(muslim, christian, etc), food etc but of much better infrastructure/Safe compare to Naija.

TravelRe: Pictures Of the Comissioning Of Tinapa by babasin(m): 7:05pm On Apr 12, 2007
@LondonCool,

Now this is big problem; if Tinapa is depending on customers with international flight from Kenya, Cameroun, Malabo; then there is big problem.

@beavers007,
You said it all. Impossible for a Nigerian that value his/her life to really visit that place for FUN.
PoliticsAtiku National Holiday by babasin(op): 5:17pm On Apr 12, 2007

@speedo,

You are surely not in tune.

This has been roundly condemned.

“The fact is that two days for people to prepare for an election is too much. You don’t have such frivolous declaration of public holidays in other countries. There is no way the work-free days will not have a negative effect on the organised private sector and by extension the economy of the country.”

@2dye4,
i really dnt giv a "U KNOW WHAT" whether its political or otherwise
then you asked:

wht the hell is going on i want to av som fun!
Question: are Nigerians so traumatized they cant even see how one-man screwing up there lives?

I could imagine what mess this would cause to people's life?

what about those in Hosiptal to be operated?

those who have debt to collect?

The business owner that have to pay interest back to bank?

The stock who cant sell or buy?

I expect all round condemnation of this and fully rejection but alas NIGERIANS will get what they deserve if nobody speak-up!

It is most irritating

In a telephone chat with The Guardian, the governor, who is also the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Progressive Alliance (PPA), said: "Abia people are hardworking. We are traders and civil servants and do not want to incur and suffer unnecessary losses plus the dislocation of the economy already caused by the Obasanjo administration."

The governor added: "This holiday is unnecessary and political. It is not on the national calendar. It was unilaterally declared and imposed by one man."

Kalu said that Nigerians do not also need the break after the Easter and Islamic holidays, stressing that Abia State workers, traders and others in the state would disregard it and go about their normal duties.
PoliticsRe: Are Thursday April 12 & Friday April 13 Public Holidays? by babasin(m): 9:48am On Apr 12, 2007
this is banana republic! This country is a joke!

when do you see Bush or Blair or Howard declaring public holiday from no where?

Do you know the cost to ordinary people?

Do you know the cost to Businesses? This is politically motivated.

This ability to declare public holiday should be removed from executive only NA after delibration with each states should be able to this.

@IG
In my opinion, many individuals and organizations go for oracle because of the hype around it. I've came across many people that think "oracle" is the term for all relational databases.
This is false. Firms with mission critical systems go for:

1. Oracle on Solaris

2. Sybase on Solaris

3. MS SQL on Windows

It has nothing to do with hype; but how critical your system is to your survival as a firm.

Note above, Linux, mysq are not even mentioned though they rapidly gaining market share for mid-tier level usage

The toll-gate has 'touch&go' so I dont wait ot bribe anyone when am driving through the highway.

How will your brother get VISA? Singapore is VISA free for Nigerians but not Malaysia.
