PoliticsRe: New Nigeria Police Force Uniforms by babasin(m): 4:54pm On Mar 31, 2007
absolute waste of money, time and energy!!

We should be looking at profound reform: state police and community police

state police to report not to governor but state assembly

community police to report to comunity leaders.
PoliticsIs Ob/pdp Serious At All? by babasin(op): 10:02am On Mar 30, 2007
But he said the duo of PDP’s Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates, Governors Umar Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan respectively would naturally care about what happens to Nigeria since they had not been used to life in foreign countries.
“Umar Yar’Adua over the last eight years has not been to America. If you ask him where America is, he does not know.  Goodluck Jonathan was born in the Delta region; he was brought up in the Delta region and was educated in the Delta region….  Therefore, do not allow the opponents to instigate violence in the country during the election.”
--OBJ

is this quality of people trying to rule a country that is 7th largest producer of OIL in the world?

CultureRe: New Nigerian Official Language - Wazobia? by babasin(m): 1:04pm On Mar 25, 2007
No.

Language is your identity. Nobody should give away their language.

The successfuly nation/people are those that keep their Language in-tact.

Nigeria should learn from Switzerland, they have four officiall Languages.

The most important: education & mutual respect

PoliticsPresident Obasanjo And Atiku Indicted For Corruption by babasin(op): 6:04pm On Mar 21, 2007
Finally, OBJ has been officially indicted of corruption.

A Nigerian Senate committee has indicted the president and his deputy for corruption over an oil fund.

The committee recommends both President Olusegun Obasanjo and Vice-President Atiku Abubakar be prosecuted.

Is this the end of the fake corruption-fighting of obj?

Was the EFCC fooling Nigerians all long?

HealthRe: Researchers Develop Malaria-resistant Mosquito by babasin(m): 5:52pm On Mar 20, 2007
Basically, DDT was used to eradicate them but shortly thereafter, it was discovered that the population of rats increased big time - it turns out the mosquitos were actually doing them a favor by keeping the number of rats down.
How come same thing did not happen in USA in the 40s?

Africa should reject this GM mosquitoes, because nobody can show that these will not mutate into another dreaded diesease in africa in another 50yrs!

Rather, we should go for eradicating Mosquitoes; it need Political will but OBJ is busy fighting Atiku.

The failure of the privatisation of British Rail does not give grounds to proclaim the futility of privatisation.
I have given you very clear comparism; British rail which was privitized is a failure while German and Swiss which are 100% government are huge success.

The point is NIGERIANS should not be decieved that privitization is solution to ALL the decay in government corporation!!

It is innovation, ingenuity, education, orientation of the people that makes things work.

Enron, Pan Am were privitized and collapsed like park of Cards. Okada air was private and is dead like dodo.

If privitization is the key; why do we have government?? we could just privitized the Presidency, Senate, Courts etc,

BusinessRe: Obj Comissions Power Plant: Improved Electricity Supply? by babasin(m): 11:41pm On Mar 17, 2007
Continued privatization & deregulation of the economy is the only way forward for Nigeria. Almost 50 years of continued stewardship of the mostly government run economy should tell us that they have no business whatsoever in running a business
This is false. British rail was privtaised yet it worse-off compare to German and Swiss rail which are 100% government owned.

It is the genuie inteest of people that makes things work.!
PoliticsRe: Us Denied Alamieyeseigha Visa by babasin(m): 6:42pm On Mar 16, 2007
Since when did they lose the right to deny anyone entry to their country, especially one with a past criminal record?
where is the court judgement for this?

It is against Human Right to deny anyone of medical attention they need, where-ever such is available in the world!

The west encourages bad leadership in Africa!!  If ALam was still in power would they have denied him visa?

Didn't same West took Abacha money at JPMorgan NY,  we can't they reject ithuh

UK still keeping abacha's $1.3billion, if you dont know.

They want Alam dead so they can keep all other loots in stashed with them!
PoliticsRe: Us Denied Alamieyeseigha Visa by babasin(m): 5:10pm On Mar 16, 2007
This is typical of the WEST:

when you dont have Big Money or Big power, you denied access!

why should a sick man not get medical treatment??

More so, he has not being found guilty of any offence by any court in the world.

PoliticsRe: Dariye Impeachment Cancelled by babasin(op): 1:13pm On Mar 10, 2007
The problem with Nigeria is that they believe 'CORRUPTION' only has to do with money!!!

This is very wrong.

For the House/EFCC not following 'due process' they are corrupting the system; thus they are corrupt.

Definition of Corruption:

--> Departure from what is legally, ethically, and morally correct
--> Decay; rot.
--> Degrading, immoral acts or habits
FashionRe: 'Ghana-Must-Go' Bags On The Runway! by babasin(m): 7:16pm On Mar 09, 2007

A lot of you are shame of carrying this bag, untill these Oyinbo girls started carrying it on catwalk.

Soon same Oyibo will redesign it and sell it to mumu africans! shame. shame. shame.
PoliticsRe: Atiku- Ac Should Sue Nicon Air For Breach Of Contract by babasin(m): 7:09pm On Mar 09, 2007
Well, I am not surpised.

This was a man in Nigeria 'prison' for 5 years and within 2months you made President.

It is garbage in, garbage out!

Mind you: Fani close than Kaduna airport for no reason. and Kalu airline licence was withdrawn for no reason.

Nigerians taught Abacha was evil; wait until OBJ finish with you all.
PoliticsRe: Dariye Impeachment Cancelled by babasin(op): 7:00pm On Mar 09, 2007
rule of law and due process(consistency) is the key to building stable democratic institutions.

It is buidling block for trust and lasting economic prosperity.

OBJ is chalartant.  His fake empire of anti-corrution fallen right before he leaves office.

Mind you; Abacha did more than that: failed bank tribunal and many corrupt Bank Managers where jailed but alas Abacah was the really Mccoy.

OBJ should tell us how he turned a morribond farm in 1999 to  $250,000/ month profit making farm in 2003!
