@SLEEK_CHIC, As per the motive, i'll pick all of the above.I asked based on experience. 1. If you plan to have a job abroad on Oracle and get real money. Go for Oracle On Sun-solaris. Thats power house of Key Players. I had to learn all over after leaving Nigeria. 2. If you plan to just play with it. Go for Oracle on any other operating system. 3. I am not sure of size of Oracle usage in Nigeria; so cant say much; But Oracle best peformed on Unix. I have a number of ORIGINAL CDs Oracle9i, Oracle10g, Solaris10. I could mail them to you or hand-it when am in Nigeria later this month. I would also suggest you have at-least 2-tier architecture: client-server. Something cheap would do; Sun Ultra 1. |
@sleek_chic, Installing Oracle on Unix is different ball game, but very easy if your system meets basic config. what version of Unix do you have? what operating system: Unix on Solaris or intel? follow this url: http://www.dbspecialists.com/presentations/oracle920solaris.html Any problem let me know. Plus whats your motive for Oracle; play, learn or get real job? |
@dblock, did you get permission of those ladies before using them in your profile? ![]() With Lemeridien in Uyo and easy boat ride to Tinapa; thats a nice combination! http://www.starwoodhotels.com/lemeridien/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1936&localeoverwrite= |
@dblock, your first picture is a tiny road somewhere in the mountain area, plus you dont know if its for the bicycle or car! You second picture does not show it is a street; it just show sign. Point is driving at 15km/h is dead, dead, dead slow. surely not for city center where traffic needs to move rapidly |
thanks for pics. Questions: why is that all of sub-sahara africa all same; dirty, guttered-roads, unkept building, same building architecture etc?? cant any nation stand out among the crowds |
I am not surprised. A dying man will do anything! This is the dying days of OBJ regime. ![]() |
for his determination to see through the huddles of OBJ and finally WIN, I will vote for Atiku. Thats character we need in a leader. That side; he needs few good men his cabinet and things would turned around. Abacha hold $1 to N80 for five years because he had qualified people working with him. IBB held the most free/fair election in Nigeria because he worked with best-brain. Above all, the court is always there as final say for any dictator in the making. Life is not about wrong or right. It is about believe in something, fight for it and see it to the end. |
He was indicted over the PTDF issue. Once his immunity expires, Mallam Ribadu will jump on him.and OBJ was not indicted? |
@Seun, I think I know what he wants: immunity. If he doesn't get into office, he knows he's definitely going to jail.Based on what offence? |
@Mezi, INEC is taking Atiku's case to world CourtNo other court can superceed Supreme Court of the Land |
@dblock But Babsin. that is not a main road, someone on this thread said its Akin Adesola; thats main road. Unless its another street/close. Anyway, I just want us to do thing right as Nigerians. ![]() |
He said at a press conference in Abuja that the remainig process should be aborted and the stage should be prepared for the Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani to take over on May 29, this year preparatory to conducting fresh elections six months after take over. This is one honest Nigeria. I fully support Utomi on this one. whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well. IBB election still remains the best in Nigeria! http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=75727 |
@9ja4eva, Am nt saying that bt no PDP.Definitely they don't rig the elections we know the man d masses want. Its between Buhari and Utomiare you sure? I saw people on CNN dancing about on the street with the news of Atiku to contest! We need a leader who will stand FIRM at all times and believes in himself. Such inspire followership! |
Singapore airline and Thai. Best Airlines in the world |
thanks. I think self-defense course and pocket tear-gas would be good business. |
@dblock That's baloney, I've seen such signs all over the world. Do you want me to post pictures? Please post pictures! I want to see, also state country where you have 15km/hr for Cars! I challenge you. And such street must not be residential but Business Area since AKIN ADESOLA in Victoria Island is not residential. |
@2dye4, what happened to people like Donald Duke?(i guess the party politics outweighed his ambitions)He was a coward!! Atiku fought back and see result! Ararume fought back and see result! You must fight for what you believe. That alone makes Atiku a great leader! |
@dblock, How can a nation develop if there is no nation. Atiku will turn Naija into a bank, no economy, impoverished people, but money pumping into his account.Atiku still need to win. So lets wait and see. |
@dblock, Babsin you said the Rule of law, but How can it be the rule of law if a criminal is allowed to contest,I dont care about Atiku, nor do I care about OBJ. I care about RULE OF Law. What this judgement shows is that if anyone act above the law, the supreme court is available and open to ensure will follow our constitution. Great Nation develops not on individuals but: 1. Rule of Law 2. Consitency in applying those rule Once we have this, sky is the limit for Nigeria. Any other president, cannot misbehave and thinks there is nobody to ask! |
Nice pictures. I dont expect anything less from the building infrastrure since all are imported from Germany by Julius Berger. |
15km/hr was not possible, even at in GEAR 1. So who put that sign there? This again shows lack of in-depth thinking. |
@doshbass, What will happen if inec decides to appeal against the decision. I think we are have been through this road before.Supreme, means FINAL You cant appeal against SUPREME COURT! If OBJ, INEC try anything now; the little left of their good-will, if any, would be thrown to the dogs! That said; Nigerians should go all out and vote their minds for the presidential election. |
@Tonyblu, I sincerely hope we are not forgetting that ATIKU has been part-and-parcel of a very corrupt administration. No one is praising atiku but RULE OF LAW! So long he was not truly convincted, the rule of law should be final. Again, this shows that OBJ war on corruption is fallaious! |
The Supreme Court has demostrated indeed rule of law is still possible in Nigeria. Kudos. E ku se. Well done. Gut gemacht. bien hecho bien fait. bene fatto. Goed gedaane. bem feito. хорошо сделанный. よくされています. godt gjort. ![]() |
Breaking News: Atiku is FREE to contest. Supreme court rules. Nigeria's Supreme Court has ruled that Vice-President Atiku Abubakar should be allowed to contest Saturday's presidential elections. The Supreme Court judges unanimously ruled that the election commission did not have the power to disqualify candidatesIt was UNANIMOUS. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/6558801.stm |
YES Nigeria's Supreme Court has ruled that Vice-President Atiku Abubakar should be allowed to contest Saturday's presidential elections.http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/6558801.stm Now let see what OBJ and IWU gonna do and this better be FREE and FAIR election |
OBJ is a completed failure: 1999: N80 --> $1 N13 per litre of Petrol 6000MW of electricity >45% Capacity of Refinery there was Odi Village 2007: N132 -->$1 N50 per litre of Petrol 1000MW of electricity < 30% Capacity of Refinery about 20, 000 people have died since 1999. This alsmost equal to Iragi War. Odi Village was wiped out |
the whole election is a shambles. OBJ has never done anything right: census, national id and now election |
1. Reject the entire process. 2. Get Senate President to consititute a national govt, OBJ MUST go in May 29th 3. Remove INEC chairmain. Get 6people from each geo-political zone and elect one as INEC chairman. New election to be done in 6months. |
this election has been marred greatly and you will soon see that PDP will have again majority in National assembly. This is because people have been focusing on governoship and nobody is talking about senator+house election. |
