Good idea. what dividend is the $40billion paying to Nigerian Citizen? we should start with that physical cash. |
[s]@Seun Interswitch should actually pay for putting this message on your Board. This is your opportunity to make it big!![/s] <<actually, Christino did>> |
I think I'll settle in Cross Rivers too!For the Babes, I would said yes! ![]() |
@Ivvie, I have searched endlessly and cant locate any CD on the net. Do you have any url link? |
You guys are dreaming if you believe election would not be rigged!! OBJ is dangerous man. What PDP should have done is accept the supreme court and they all support this guys as their PDP candidate. Now they want to spoil it for him. It is all or nothing!! Thats evil |
Only a fool will trust INEC! The fact that its called 'Independent' and yet its chairmain report to OBJ is enough to dismiss it. |
@beavers007 I guess many of us here would definitely love to visit Tinapa soonest and we would spend some good cash.If you read back in my posts, I said below: That said, I would be visiting Nigeria shortly; I would love to see the place; but how do you get there from Lagos? Conidtions: 1. I dont want to enter any local flight be it vrigin. 2. Driving ok(as i love to see country side) but what about armed robbers? |
@GNature, You spend hundreds of millions of dollars on a business resort and rely on the general public to take its pictures for youumm, is this a place that want to compete with likes of tourist resorts in Thailand, Malaysia, Mauritius, Greece, Ibiza, etc?? |
@pain Thats what happens to things done with poor thinking!! I am not surpised. More to call as OBJ fake reforms start collapsing from May 29. |
I am not susprised. Even though TELECOM business is lucrative if things are not done with fairness to all. It will collapse. wait, 3yrs from May 29; All OBJ fake reforms would be crumbling like pack of cards |
@Ndipe Come, Aso rock has borehole? Is this a joke? This is no joke. I was staying there in 2000. When NEPA strike, we switch on generator, even though there is lots of water system built by Berger. We still using Bore-Hole to supplement. Mind you, the house is much more closer to OBJ residence compare to Atiku's own. |
@dblock, The first picture above(Pictures from Victoria Island Day and Night) is from Eko Hotel. did you take that? is the hotel still very good? I am visiting soon and plan to stay in VI. SAS Radisson HotelLagos indeed deserve more competively price hotels. I would imagine a nice one in Takwa Bay |
@londoner I have a feeling Nigeria will be totally unrecognisable in fifteen to twenty years., In terms on abandon projects because of their un-sustainability like the London Dome? or in term of real practical projects like London eye? |
The kid is clearly clever. what happened to all those noise about gifted kids school?? |
Good Picture. This is how to sell Lagos to the world. |
Guys, Very good to see that I have generated heated debate about this project. We have basically two type of projects: Prestige and Sustainable. Prestige project is usually to show-off the image of the Key actors. Sustainable project is usually to provide long lasting regenerative productive service to the society. Sadly, we have more of prestige project than sustainable ones in Naija. That said, I would be visiting Nigeria shortly; I would love to see the place; but how do you get their from Lagos? I am not going to enter any local plane. The road is so dangerous, am talking of armed robbers especially Ore-Benin-Onistha section. is there any coastal cruise line from lagos seaport to Calabar? So how do I even get there to spend some few EURO?? |
I thought OBJ was reforming the Bank/Finance industry?? so how come the nature of these 'entities' still in doubt? so much for reforms. |
@beavers007 Man, Tinapa has already succeeded.I have nothing against Duke. I have said and will say it again: IT IS A GOOD IDEA. Tinapa is almost completely a privately funded project. This gurantee nothing. Private projects also become un-sustainable. Question remains: How sustainable will it be? who is going to be the end consumers that will buy the value-added services from all these investors? Nobody has been able to provide the answer so far. |
@Mariory, Go to www.tinapa.com to see clients that have signed up.I am not doubting if client sign-on or not. I already said its a good idea. My question is who are the customers those clients will service for them to have sustainable growth to continue to pay Tinapa? |
@backslider The Government Must STOP THIS?so how do you want the people to get drining water? Even in Aso Rock; they have bore-hole! |
@dblock so basically, the government should build a shopping mall in the NNPC towersWell go to Petronas Tower and see for yourself. Both NNPC Tower and Petronas Tower are from Oil Money. One is really progressive and it would sustain itself far into the future, while the other is already moriboud. We never learn and adopt to suit us. BTW: Petronas has a better concept right from Project start not just building for building sake!! |
@chidichris please Ribadu must stay and tell us what happen to these funds. This statement alone shows Nigeria would never progress! so what if Ribadu drop dead tomorrow? what institution have OBJ and Ribadu put in place to ensure corruption is reduced? They ony shout and run-around after the money is already gone. This is not sustainabled |

@Backslider, If They want you can bring it to my stateThats very good of you. I never knew there still some good Nigerian around. What is your state name? and my brother with the Chernobyl thing It is overblown by the USA.are you sure? New born babies are still getting deformed in that town and this is from German TV, plus Swedish TV |
@dblock OBJ may have achieved little, Infrastructure wise, but tell me one politician that pumped more into the power sector than OBJ.Exactly!! So much money and no result! OBJ would be made accountable for this after May 29th. Thats the beauty of democrazy. |
ok. Let start with basic questions: where would the nuclear plant be located? and where do you store in the spent fuel rod? in Ota Farm? Surely not in a Village or 200km close to my village. who among you will volunteer their village?? And please read more about Chernobyl disaster |
@smile4Kenn I wonder why we are getting worried if election is rigged or not. If ObJ has the chance he will just choose yar'dua to replace him without an electionThis is what OBJ already did! The election next week is just a rubber stamping. |
@Ndipe. Projects in Nigeria are usually bedeviled by same problem. Like of proper planning and understanding. As I said, it is sure a good idea but is there a sound business plan or just a govt trying to show they can embark on project?? Example: Petronas Tower is much successfuly than NNPC Tower in Abuja; why because they have a solid Business Plan. Below the Petronas Tower is one of the best shopping mall in Malaysia, the rent alone is used to maintaine the build. Nobody comes to KL without visiting the shopping mail underneath the Tower. |
Good Idea but I have not seen how they plan to recover their money by making profits. 1. who will be the customers? 2. how will the customers get there? 3. why should the customers go there? 4. what is the sustainability of the project Ibadan amusement park was lofty project opened in 1990 I went back in 2001. It has become a ghost! |
Future of Oracle in Nigeria will depend on people like you. What DB are the big firms using? The real beauty of Oracle comes out with Solaris. |
you need this for exam or your work? NAS/SAN are very interesting any, you can search the net. |
@IG 3. British Rail, for time-tabling, booking, accounting e.t.c.Finally, that explain why they are always unreliable! It is the most unreliable Rail in western europe. Serious firms run on Oracle. |
