Nigerians are quite pusillanimous and docile, and that is why we can be taken for a ride by small errant military boys. The military high command did not authorise the blockade and we as citizens have the right to dismantle the illegal blockade. If they fire and kill anyone, the military command would dismiss them and have them tried by the civil authorities. Nigerians being afraid of a soldier is beyond me. why does the lagos state government or concerned individuals not look into the dirty disgusting state of lagos.There are over filled waste bins everywere with their contents spilled over,the sight of those waste bins is so irritating,the smell so sickening,yet i see people comfortably pass by ,some even sell food and eat close to those horrific sites,what is lawma doing?everywere is so dirty,its really a bad image to nigerians as a people,if its major city is in such dismal state.There needs to be a special office for waste and drainage in lagos.People should be forced to pay and the state should be kept clean ,those sweepers arent doing anything as far as am concerned.lagos is totally a mess when it comes to waste disposal,let those concerned comment,pls what can be done about it?
