tbaba1234:Where are you guys getting this live updates pls. |
Rubbish!! You withdrew all the money circulating in the system into TSA. EFCC is holding trillions in frozen account. Naira is crashing. You are arresting their CEOs and MD, signed budget and yet no money release. Investors running out and quickly selling their shares. Yet you don't want banks to sack staff. Na you go pay salary for them ! No incentives and you have the audacity to even talk. Please go and face face your Oga and tell him the truth. You don't even need to be an economist to understand basic principles of money. Time is ticking! |
so why were they lying before. they don't know that Sahara reporters get guys for inside DSS..lol. No Doctors capable of seeing him in nigeria and no place to rest here in Daura anymore. African leaders!! Not good enough!! buynaija my ass!! |

Please politics and tribalism apart. The question is can anyone explain why Barkindo and not our minister for petroleum that doubles as NNPC GMD is not chosen. Since I have been reading paper and followings news. Most if not all former OPEC leader were minister for petroleum in their states. This is really disturbing I won't lie to you. Kachiwcku is happy because he is a big man and he doesn't need the post but I am saying this for Nigerias sake. |
i sincerely think it is time for referedum on the state of nation. nobody will be able to fix this country with the present structure. let us go back to regional government like they have in united kingdom or true federalism as you prefer but honestly the President of the federal republic canceling the trip( i dont care if he is represented) is the highest level of cowardice i cant even explain. |
These people really ran NIGERIA down. How come Emefiele is playing Mr Innocent. All these incidents happened under his watch. CBN = ATM |
RIP. |
The disease is called Aso Rock syndrome. His predecessor suffered from it too. I don't blame them when they have feeding allowance that is more than a year salary of a teacher. Nonsense!! |
great job Jam04. Two questions. Please what title does the land comes with. Can I use it for other purpose in the future or it is a lease that will be reclaimed by the village after 10 years Any idea on the best way to secure farm on acres of land. Thanks. |
Please let us not criticize the NLC even if you don't fully support them. I am in favor of deregulation but this approach is very bad. Why can't government take 6 billion dollars and buy modular refinery for each oil producing state. It cost around 100million dollars to buy one. Then fix the unending renovation of the old one by selling them to private sector (Big firms with plenty money). Let the modular refineries be treated as a public private ventures. Provide PMS first. Curb importation and even export to make hard currencies Mostly to our Neigbours in west Africa. Then give naira it's true value and deregulate totally. Buhari has tried for a year to fix the refineries but it's like somebody goes there to remove a vital bolt after every turnaround maintenance. This tyrannical and sudden approach is not nice. Fashola begged us to allow increase in tariffs and since then no electricity. Why won't you think out of the box. It is so sad that NIGERIA still depend solely on those long pipelines which can never be secured to produce electricity. I guess our leaders are a bit lazy apart from us ( Nigerians) lacking sense of patriotism. Please contribute positively and wisely to the country. |
IT IS SO SAD THAT THE ALMIGHTY NLC IS LOSING IT THIS TIME. THIS MAY BE THE BEGINNING OF THE END!! WELL DEMOCRACY WILL STILL OVERCOME. NO MATTER WHAT!! |
chilanfarms:Lagos. thanks. |
I need a pond for rent to start and learn catfish aquaculture. Any idea where I can rent a space. |
sunnyb0b0:the point is that when Obasanjo came in, we were not importing 4 billion dollars worth of goods monthly and Abacha weaned us off products from the US and others so the 3 billion would have lasted longer than the present 30 billion. we all buy champange and luxury vacations has increased to Dubai and Uk. i still dont support the way the are going about the economy though! |
I need a fish pond to rent for breeding of about 10,000 fingerlings. Rent time. One year. |
That the EFCC / CCB have closed their eyes to saraki's file or the religious card he is playing has nothing to do with his culpability. Maybe it is time to show his dirty linens to the public. A decision to dust his file may have been influenced by some not happy members of his party. Not sure. Thus the sayings if you live in a glasshouse don't throw stones. He threw the first stone by stopping Tinubu for VP slot which by the way most people think was a good idea because it would have been an easy ride for the PDP. I honestly think the senate president should resign and focus on his fight. Win his name back with almost "100 lawyers" and strategize for future politics. In this stormy and rumbling period I am not sure if there will be a way out. Office of the SP is a high post. To strengthen our democracy , we need to accord necessary respect for the office. You can't be standing trial and be the presiding over constitution. In other climes e.g. Brazil. If buhari approves that Dilma rouseff be tried then she has to resign for a period of 180 days while the trial stands. Same should apply to Nigeria. |
The problem is not how the CCT trial is interpreted but the criminal/ corruption details surfacing in the process. In a sane society and well written constitution. He should have been forced to resign by now. |
#notoammendment. It is criminal to be looking for ways to evade justice. After using the judiciary without luck. Now, it is to go and play with the constitution. Serious countries don't amend laws every week!! The CCB act was amended 2015. Why modify it again. The constitution is the Bible of the nation. That is why we dont have patriots in Nigeria. |
A good advice from a concerned citizen who made same mistakes in the past. We shouldnt write anybody off without adequate analysis of their opinion just because they are in the opposition party. |
