A lot is wrong with it. It caused debate as how? Is it even debatable? |
The lady fvcked up. Why will she collect drink from her ex? Even if she is not with her boyfriend, its damn risky! Most especially, if they separated on a bitter note. Lady, revenge is sweetest when served cold. Serve him one! |
Fashion to the person who put it on, punishment to people who saw it. |
muphasar11:Capitalism is an economic system in which all or most means of production and distribution are owned and controlled by individual. While a socialist economy is one in which means of production are collectively owned and controlled by the state. Businesses being in private hands relieves countries of financial burden, they will be able to concentrate more on the few government establishments left for them, if they can do everything, why did you think they go into privatization once in a while?.Practising socialism is burdensome on the states, how will a country cater for the population of the country without being in debt? Massive spending will take its toil on them, and this will have multiplier effect. Picture Nigeria with almost 170Million people having to depend on government for everything. That will be recipe for revolution. Not with the gross mismanagement and endemic corruption in government parastatals. Proponents of capitalism such as Adam Smith, David Ricardo believes competition is inherent in every individual. An economy become prosperous through competition. When there is competiton, among enterpreneurs, they will fall over themselves to produce quality goods and services at cheaper rates and at good quality so that they will be patronised more, invariably consumers gain more by getting what they want. The same cannot be said of a socialist economy, where everybody is working for the government, government provides everything, talents and enterprising spirit of some people are not harnessed, people will have lackaidasical attitude towards the work since they know whether they work hard or not, everything will be shared equally among them. Consumer loses out, because they cannot dictate what they want. If we had practised socialism in Nigeria, you wiil not hear of the big wigs we have in Nigeria today such as Dangote, Folorunsho Alakija and others who were given high ratings in the Forbes list and invariable promote the image of Nigeria in good stead and in the eye of the world. Profits are re-invested by capitalists to fuel economic growth. Most of them have companies where they employ Nigerians. That is what capitalists can do! It is not obtainable in a socialist environment. Socialism is anti-ambition. Socialism is smokescreen slavery. Though, they seek to promote economic equality. But everyone knows that economic equality is impossible. Workers are giving work to do and they cannot change it without consent. People are not allowed to own assets. The people are poor because they share things equally, while the bosses at these companies are neck deep in corruption, we all know government establishment are most often mismanaged. This will make the poor poorer and the rich richer. It will bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. So you see....Socialism is a failed system. Countries of the world do not even practise socialism in totality again. The disadvantages of such system far outweighs the advantages, most especially in this modern world. Some of the businesses are now left in the hand of business owners, a case in point is China and former USSR. |
muphasar11:I'm here. Start, say something about a socialist economy and why you prefer it. |
That is it, water will not flow uphill. Sometimes, you will not always be repaid for kindness by the same person you helped, when you need them most. The universe repays every kind act in some way, shape and form. Basket mouth should know this and move on. It will not hurt him much. When you offer kindness to someone, freely offer it without expectations of returns. It is the act itself and the feelings with which you expressed it that matters. |
Don't allow self-pity overshadow your dreams. There is ability in disability. Life is what you make it! |
Okay, they've heard your rabble-rousing speech. |
He should continue helping my sister till the judgement day, when she will give him red card. ![]() |
ernesty20:SMH!!! Panshow:Do you know God speaks to us through dreams? There are different types of dreams, and one of them is prophetic dream. Sometimes, if good or bad thing want to happen, God reveals it to us through dreams. It is now left for us to pray hard against its if it is a bad dream, and pray for it to come to pass, if it is a good one. Some dreams are meaningless actually, but you never can tell which of them will come to pass. So be sensitive! I have had several dreams come to pass! A lot of people have regretted disregarding dreams. Just ask around. Please be sensitive, anytime you have a dream, ask people for the interpretation or an elderly person. Some people are gifted at interpreting dreams. However, its not every dream you share, if you have a good dream and the meaning is already obvious, don't share such dream with people. |
sweetorgasms:OP, this is the answer you seek. In addition to that, the spiritual husband may break your relationship soon. She needs to be delivered from the spiritual husband. |
double0seven:Yes o, the former look was better. I expected in-between weight, not the gross skinny look. I wonder how her sisters too will look, because they all wanted to reduce weight. I respect her tenacity to go through it, though. |
I'm looking at something else, her new look. I don't know she reduced weight this much. Talk of determination. |
The list is not complete without Allison Madueke. That one na the real GEJ woman. Oh yes! You don't mess with Aruma Oteh during his administration or you have her to deal with. |
talk2riel:System earth is open, while earth system is closed. It is a melange of the two. |
just knew it was not her because of the tiara. Why would she wear tiara, when she did not contest for beauty pageant? |
englishmart:Lol. Whichever! Happy birthday to father and daughter. Wishing them LLNP. Bovi, one of the best comedians, Nigeria has ever produced. |
Hehhehe! What do you expect from a lady from a dysfunctional background? Kendall is my favourite of the Kardashians. |
He was dreaming about the sister for about three days? The man was sensitive enough to know that something was wrong somewhere. Never disregard dreams, anything good or bad that happens are often fore-told in dreams, but some are just not sensitive enough. |
He may have been battling clinical depression and just decided to end his life.. |
The never ending police brutality! They have no scruple! Where do we go from here? RIP to the woman. May God continue to bless Joei-odumakin, for her advocacy for human right and selfless service to the nation. |
AfricanApple:E dey run fine o.. ![]() |
This is deeply upsetting! The authorities should just stop victim-blaming and put measures in place to prevent a reocurrence. |
AfricanApple:Hello, the one and only AfricanApple on Nairaland. |
That's impressive! Who will not want to be versatile? It's only if she want to do any of it as an occupation, that she will need to do formal training on it and not based on self-knowledge. |
muphasar11:I'm out to learn from you too. |
muphasar11:Okay. Saturday, from 12p.m. |
muphasar11:Hmmm........ You told me you have gotten some topics nah. I was expecting you to drop them. Okay, let's discuss this: Socialism or capitalism? I support capitalism, do you prefer socialism? (If you don't, we can switch) And choose date that will be convenient for you. |
A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. The admission in the polytechnic she already has, is more valuable than the university own she is still expecting. What gave her the assurance the lady will help in the long run? Human beings are not dependable. She should start with the polytechnic education, but do jamb at the same time. If the lady help out, fine. |
Justiyke4u:It happens mostly if the lovers part ways because of circumstances beyond their control.. In this case, they still love each other but maybe the parents did not want them to marry because of tribal or religious reason, or blood type reason or other reasons. The guy may now demand for "break-up sex" Its now left for the lady to use her brain, whether to accept or not. Though, it's not really good, because the more the lady allows it, the more the attachment. Thus, sneaking to have it anytime. That is one of the reasons some people cannot get over their ex. |
Hmmm.... Nigeria! Nigeria!! Nigeria!!! One of motherland Africa's beloved children. Nigeria my country, my home, my pride. My darling Nigeria, don't worry, you will still be great someday. I am positive, I am positive, I am positive. God bless Nigeria! God bless Africa!! |
