RomanceRe: What Is Your View On This, ''girls & Maga'' Issue by BABE3: 7:30am On Aug 24, 2011
No, you're not being selfish.

I posted on a topic similar to your's yesterday. Here;

I seriously wonder why some men (boyfriends) feel that it's their responsiblity to cater for their Girlfriend's need(s). Some men are just undisputed MUGUs! Chei! Ogini kwa? Are you her father? Or where in the constitution(of any country), does it say, "Boyfriends, your Girlfriends are your financial responsibilties". Nonsense.

They will now go around shouting "what do girls contribute to the relationship?" "Why are girls gold-diggers?"

If a girl is beginning to make you her money factory, LEAVE HER A$$. Wait until you're married before you start catering for your wife/family. There are independent girls out their, looking for a man. But then again, some of you are scared of a woman that has her own car-- **Smh** Sad innit?!

Ogini? See option 1! Haba. Na fight? Gob bless America abeg.

Plus, it wasn't that serious--no one died (I think).
BusinessRe: Nigeria Ranks High Amongst Most Innovative In The World! by BABE3: 4:02am On Aug 24, 2011
They've started with their useless ranks again!  undecided Silly survey! I'm sure the demographics and samples were biased.

What's the use of attaining high ranks when there's NOTHING to show for it?!

I know some people are still gonna rejoice and bask in the so called "victory".  grin

Our president is handsome-- Has that lowered the price of kerosene in the  market?

Our Language(s) is/are sexy-- Who cares?

We are innovative -- Who cares about innovation? Who can't think of new ideas? Na innovation we won chop? EXECUTE and let's see na. mscheww.
TravelRe: How Do People React When You Say You Are Nigerian? by BABE3: 3:32am On Aug 24, 2011

I always get the "Oh you're from Africa?! That's so cool" replies. I like those kind of replies, however the questions that follow those are becoming my pet peeve(s)!

Below is a typical example of those questions;

Ignorant Fish: Do y'all really have Lions roaming the streets in Nigeria? Do y'all really live in trees?

Me: **I give the person the 'are you seriously asking me these questions look'**** Then I finally say:  Yes we do.

Ignorant Fish: Oh, That's so neat. That's so cool.

Me: Yh, really cool.

My inner thoughts: Is this dude for real? Do I live in a tree? **smh** Some of these so called Americans are the most primitive he-goats you'll ever meet. STOP WATCHING NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC channel---you fish!----

                                                             *******

Ignorant Fish: Do y'all have planes in Nigeria?

Me: Duh!

My inner thoughts: How the hell did I get here if we don't have planes? Do you really think I paddled a canoe to get here? **smh**

                                                             *******

Ignorant Fish: Do you speak African?

Me:  No.

My inner thoughts: AFRICA IS NOT A COUNTRY YOU FOOL. Even if it is---your question doesn't even make sense.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Interested In Moderating This Section? by BABE3: 3:08am On Aug 24, 2011
I'm interested. I don't have a strong "passion" for this section. I only post here once in a while. Everyone knows where my passion lies on NL (Romance). However, I can do a pretty good job, if I become the mod. The section needs more "life". I can bring the spark.

Thanks OTD. I'm flattered.

Kandi, what sort of knowledge are we talking about here?
CelebritiesRe: Are High Profile Marriages At High Risk Of Separation? WILL SMITH AND JADA separ by BABE3: 9:24pm On Aug 23, 2011
It's just a rumour
http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/smith-jada-pinkett-smith-separating-trey-smith/story?id=14362982
LOL-- No mind them. Their son even twitted the fact that it's a rumor.

It's like Nigerians like hearing "not so pleasant" news. See their mouths like " I knew it" "I knew they weren't gonna last" "I knew the marraige was fake" "When is Kris and Kim k having their's?"  grin

Split ko, scatter ni.

@ Topic: Celebrity marraiges are not necessarily at a higher risk of seperation. Divorce rate is practically the same everywhere ( in the western contries). The only difference between normal marraiges and their's,  is that we hear about their divorce stories more often, because they are celebrities.
CelebritiesRe: Are High Profile Marriages At High Risk Of Separation? WILL SMITH AND JADA separ by BABE3: 9:05pm On Aug 23, 2011
LOL---Chei! Bad belle people plenty o!

Why are people so gullible and quick to "celebrate" when they hear a "bad" news? Isn't the question mark in front of the topic on the front page enough for you to understand that the news is still in the rumor-phase? Nawa.

Anyways, how can this power couple split? Lai-Lai. Ko possible. They're too beautiful a family for that. Can't wait for "Men in black 3"! lol.

RomanceRe: I Really Don't Know How To Be A Girlfriend. by BABE3: 8:23pm On Aug 23, 2011
Amya:

BTW, i dated for close to a year who i was so in love with then, and who's presently dating my friend told her that we are actually didn't date, but we just had a 'thing' for a while and i was simply delusional for claiming a non-existent relationship. To say i was flabbergasted would be the understatement of the year.
Weren't you the chickala that had the Facebook-break up problem? Another Maga don mugu you, or na the same Facebook-guy you dey talk about?

Nawa for people o-- Chei! See how y'all are talking asif she's 70. How won't most marraiges end in divorce?-- When people succumb to the foolish pressure of the society to get married at an early age. At 25? Nawa! No wonder people just get married anyhow nowadays. undecided Anything goes! Quite sad.

Amya, you need to get your sh1t together. If your character is repulsive, then you need to change. If you're snobbish in nature, you need to start acting more friendly. It's for your own good, not anyone's.

That being said, don't mind the society and their noise. Take your time. Don't rush nothing. Marry the one you can live with for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. Since you're the type that get bored easily, it's only advicable to wait FOR THE RIGHT ONE! If you don't, you're probably gonna end up cheating on him.

Be open, and seek and you shall find. And if you can't find, don't inflict purnishment on yourself by settling for less.

FamilyRe: Is My Wife Taking Advantage Of Me ? by BABE3: 10:49am On Aug 23, 2011
I'm sorry if I'm gonna sound arrogant or rude, But, really can't you talk to your wife about this?! Isn't the word "communication" in y'alls vocalbulary?

If you can't talk about petty issues like this, then why are you even married?

By not talking to her directly, you're already assuming that the reason for her actions is the because she's older than you--- SAD.

Plus, as a husband, be a MAN. Damn!

^^ Aboniki balm is very powerful. It has cured AIDs in some parts of the world sef.  grin

I have a solution to your problem: before you go to bed at night, rub ROBB (the hot balm), all over your body. If you no get robb, try hOT pepper.

When the substances start affecting her eyes everynight, no one will tell her to stop sleeping on you.  The problem with this solution is that, you'll be punishing yourself as well.

Why can't you tell her about it sef? Abi you won catch arthritis? Nawa.
FoodRe: Nigerian Girls And Their Horrible Cooking by BABE3: 9:56am On Aug 23, 2011
I'm gonna divert from the topic a lil' bit (OP is not even worth answering in the first place).

Learning how to cook ought to be something that EVERYBODY (males, females, and everyone in-between) should know how to do! It's not a male or female thing (I'm not trying to throw the gender equality card--I'm just saying the fact).

Cooking is a process that leads to providing us of one the main component that keeps us alive--FOOD!

Cooking is required for survival, so anyone shouldn't have an excuse for not knowing how to cook what they can eat. #Justsaying.

lol-- @ She's raLepacious in nature.

OP, are you related to Patrick Obahiagbon or Chris Okotie? See how you're blowing grammar like it's a SAT words competition. You should realize that you're on a public forum, hence the use of Pedestrian vocalbulary is more appropraite.

At your dilemma; What's the babe good for? Asin, what do you like about her? She seems like a Jawo-Jawo (gold-digger) to me.

Yh, there're obvious reasons behind the abrupt or gradual change in treatment. I'm too lazy to type them out though. grin

I can't speak for all the females. I can speak for myself though.

Yes, I do like being held (or holding something--my body size pillow ). Why? I feel safer, I guess? It's almost like a false sense of security.

Same reason why I can't go to bed consciously (even if it's a nap) without covering myself with a piece of fabric; No matter how hot it is.

LOL @ people swearing for my guy.

Mr surrogate, it's high time you got your sh1t together. Quit taking advantage of her high-bullsh1t tolerance. Treat her right. Put her in your shoes. Nuff said.
FashionRe: What To Wear To A Dinner Date by BABE3: 6:34am On Aug 23, 2011
It doesn't have to be a Blazer of couse. Any decent form of jacket or even normal top, would work. Just make sure you accesorize the outfit perfectly.
