2buff:Chei 2buff, so upon all the time you spent in my crib you didn't learn anything from me? Ordinary Shop-lifting, you no fit do. ![]() You've finally gotten yourself a sugar mummy and you're already contemplating on coming back if recession hits her hard. **smh** If I were you, I'll TAP all I can tap from her; The Porsches, the Mercedes, the Visas, the Master-cards-- e.t.c. Coz if you come back here, na broom I go use chase you away. ![]() |

Yemmyc:Come back here, I'm not done wit you! Cheap to get uhn? You want him to buy you a Lamborghini, before you tell him your real name right? If the babe doesn't like the guy and he's chasing after her, then That's another case. But, if she likes what she sees and she's forming for too long, another babe that's sharp, fronts-less and even more attractive then her, will carry the guy comot. #Truetalk. Don't reply me. ![]() |
sexkillz:Caveman! I knew some of you Java men were still living among modern-day humans. I knew yall were not fully extinct. ![]() |
OP, you mean you wish all girls were the same as that boutique girl right? Oh well, your wish is whack. Why? It will only make Kidnapper's job easier. ![]() @ YemmyC, nawa for Una o. The girl is cheap because she knows what she wants when she sees "it"? She's cheap because she doesn't front? And the babes that front are not cheap right? Diff. strokes for diiff. folks fam. Some girls are very assertive, hence they don't like wasting time. While the rest like to front and use to guyz to pull swagger small. Plus, being assertive doesn't mean she's gonna sleep with him the first time they meet (It's just a date). Even if she does, what's the difference between her and the girl that fronts and still ends up sleeping with the dude? Same na ni. |

Yes, they do need Popular faces to sell well well. If popular faces don't sell, then why do "they" put a popular face that only acted in one scene in a movie movie as the star (biggest) picture on the cover of the movie? They keep giving us what we want (popular faces) and we keep buying the movies.Personally, If I don't see a popular face on the cover of a Nollywood movie, there's a 90% chance I ain't gonna watch it. We haven't reached the Hollywood Level yet---where anything goes, so far the acting and plot are on point. In a nutshell, they need a popular face to make a good/bad story sell. |
Nigeria MAY someday be a developed country under three conditions: 1) When the majority of Nigerians are ready to CHANGE our/their corrupt ways; When we quit being satisfied with mediocrity. 2) When every single form of leader (in politics) don kpeme--and they've stopped reproducing as well. Coz, it's like when anyone joins politics, the "embezzlement and corruption gene" automatically joins their chromosome.3) When they've all died, and A new, fresh, Non- Nigerian, BENEVOLENT DICTATOR is assigned/elected as President. ( How all these conditions possible will be met in the next thousand years still baffles me. We'll wait and see. |
Toaskarity:I already modified my post. I don't think it's Yoruba anymore. ![]() We use the 'O' (asin oge, olisa) as well. It's the 16th alphabet the Yoruba lang. E.g. Ole (thief). |
Which tribe invented the 'O' intonation? COME HERE O,, LETS GO O, A Kenyan girl asked me why we always put O, but I couldn't find an answer. She also asked why Nigerians always say ' How far',
The intonation: The 'how far': Good question. |
Toaskarity:Good for you darl. Keep it up! ![]() LOL @ that video. MURDER! ![]() |
@babe, so what happened, i tout you said u fancied me?
lol--- I was just goofing around. |
mithel:You can't deny the fact that there's this "AFRICANess" in all our accents. Me, I still don't know what makes my country's accent(s) so emmatok:LOL--- @ when spoken softly. I don't mean to be redundant, but please what's sexy in saying "Oyel" instead of "Oil"--- Rhetorical question. ![]() |
@babe, I said you negative because you said it's because we the most populous( we all over the world). Indians, Chinese, Caribbeans also travel a lot but weren't in the list. And @' Africans sound alike' , would you say Jonathan's accent is the same as Jacob Zuma's accent? I agree with you to some extent that we share regional accent with our West African Neighbours like Sierra-Leone, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Benin and even Cameroon.
Opps! It's all mis-communication's fault hun. I meant populous, asin most populous in AFRICA; not all over the word. |
xkillz:Oh pls!-- Aproko. I'm so glad you're banned. |
This article says something quite positive about Nigeria, that our accent is good, which I think we should be glad about. I hate it when we travel abroad and try to forcefully sound like white people, which to me is a form of inferiority complex'.
I should be glad? **smh** They never said our accent was good btw. They said it is Sexy. Big diff. Who are the "we" that travel abroad and fake accents? Well, I don't see anything wrong in "faking" accents sef. As much as I dislike American accent(s), I still fake it sometimes (Don't worry, I sound good ). Kini big deal. Inferiority complex ko, Superiority duplex ni.If a British man travels to Nigeria, and try to forcefully sound like Nigerians, you'll still call it Inferiority complex? If you hear an American babe in Nigeria blowing 9ja accent, won't you be fascinated? Abeg cut the BS jo. |
@ Babe, why you so negative?
HA! Egbami! Negative on this thread or on NL generally? pleep:Who's arguing se? I'm not arguing with no one. I just don't agree with the Okrika list. Kapish. |
Goldieluks:Abeg REST jo! I like it like that. **lol-- I sound like an idiot** |
Goldieluks:I'm already his 3rd and last wife. ![]() Pweety: Lemme just warn you jejely---if my guy is the one in question, stay away from him. |
pleep:If you were referring to my post: Who's arguing? Yes, we have nice accent(s), but which one is sexy again? |
Goldieluks:HA! I laugh in Chinese. You people must be high on Garri. ![]() |
I wouldn't describe Nigerian accent(s) as sexy. I don't even think those CNN people know what sexy means. But then again, the word 'sexy' is subjective. Most of us celebrating the victory of seeing our country's name on the list, are even confused sef. We should ask ourselves, WHY NIGERIA? Is it because we are the most populous? When AFRICANS talk to "foreigners", don't we all sound alike? What's the elaborate difference? Africans sound like Africans. That was how "they" inserted President Goodluck Jonathan's Picture (as number 34) on the list of Hottest presidents. What a joke! ![]() |
Pweety, I hope the dude in question is not oam4BABE! ? |
REALITY101:Pele, ma binu. Boya emi ni mo ran e ko ma gbo Yoruba. ![]() |

? Nigerians have nice accents, or atleast white girls think so. So why the argument?
