Every nation/society gets the kind of leaders it deserves. PMB is not the problem of this country. If you're saying he should resign, believe me, millions of Nigerian (politicians, public servants, clerics etc) should as well do same.
He who comes into equity must do so with clean hands. |

Several cases of mutilation of Forms EC8 series and fraudulent outright cancellation of valid votes. I was an adhoc staff, and we know INEC-Akwa Ibom was totally bought over. |

Election petition case is the most difficult litigation a plaintiff can win. The Apex court setting aside earlier judgements of the Tribunal and Appeal court and going ahead to order the swearing in of Uzodimma (instead of ordering a re-run) is not a good legal precedence. |
Politics › Re: Amanze Ajoku: How INEC And Lawyers Ruined Ihedioha’s Case by backbone503(m): 9:22pm On Jan 24, 2020 |
Xisnin: Fake analysis. It is not the duty of the court to accept any document presented by a plaintiff. If such a principle is generally applied, society will collapse. Imagine what thieves and fraudsters will gain if merely presenting a document to a court automatically make it legit.
Imagine someone presented to the court a purported receipt to your phone claiming they own it. Should the court give them the phone because they ask for it?
What if the only issuer of such receipts declares it to be fake? Shouldn't that be sufficient?
What if the court discovers that the date on the presented receipt is fake, should the court steal your phone and give it to the complainant?
What any sane, sensible person would have done when they discover that Uzodinma's fake results actually makes the total votes greater than the accredited voters is to dismiss his case or declare the election null and order a rerun. Uzodimma presented "validly" stamped and signed result sheets for the over 300 poling units. I believe the justices of the supreme court reviewed the case file, and never found where counsel to INEC, PDP or Ihedioha objected to the result sheets so tendered, hence, agreeing and validating the results. |

Mynd44: Actually, yes.
Imagine a murder case or rape trial where new evidence (possibly DNA testing) comes out to prove that the culprit didn't commit the offence, do you think because the supreme court has given its judgement the judgment won't be reversed?
People actually get release from jail after serving up to 7 years for crime because the police stumbled on evidence proving innocence.
Yes, there is a finality to the Supreme Court but it the court isn't closed to reversing itself in the face of overwhelmingly new evidence What then did they do in the High and Appeal Courts? Supreme court simply reviews earlier judgements given. |

Trapping: US will pay dearly for this folly. Killing a government official OPENLY (Not in a war theatre) and admitting to it, is the most foolish thing that has been done since world warII.
What Trump had effectively done by Killing Soleimani is that he has established that in this war of attrition between nations killing foreign diplomats is a fair game.
I repeat, going after a diplomat and killing him publicly is a no-no and I believe the US will regret this action, and this may hurt trumps chance of reelection. Iran is no pushover!! They said he was a combatant in a combat region |

Qassem Soleimani was and is loved. The west and its media definitely deliberately painted him black, because they feared his growing influence and power in the Middle East.
That's the man that assisted US-UN forces to defeat ISIS and Taliban. Same man that defends the interest, security and sovereignty of his country. The one they call the "Pride of Iran". A price will most definitely be paid for his assassination. |

Peaceful protest is part of the democratic process. Let's not be too quick to castigate these people. Assuming the President of Iran ordered the assassination of a very senior officer of the Vatican [one seen as the "Pride of the Vatican"], don't you think Catholics worldwide will be so angry with Iran and its President?
You are told Qassem Soleimani killed many, has America told you how many they killed in Syria, Yemen, Libya, Iraq, Vietnam, Afghanistan and other countries they've invaded? |

Trump would pound Iran fromtally, Isreal would tidy the proxy battles and ISIS would take over Iran. For ISIS, Iran had long defeated and decimated them. |

Yet, you think Iran can take on US. These countries are afraid of Iran. Why do you think they beg and bribe her to de-nucleralize? Iran might not win the war against the US, but the latter will so regret ever going into it. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: President Rouhani Assures Soleimani’s Daughter Of Revenge (Photo) by backbone503(m): 8:01pm On Jan 04, 2020 |
MrMcJay: Iran is in trouble, whichever way it swings.
If they don't attack, the Ayatollah would lose control of leadership.
If they attack, Trump would descend on them heavily, then use sanctions to wreck them. Thereafter, some dissidents would oppose Iran's leadership and then start fighting. That's how ISIS would enter Iran.
If they want to fight by proxy, Israel is at the flanks, waiting for them. Iran has the capacity to, to a large extent, take on US. Iran isn't Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen and other countries the US ran over. |
