Munzy14:When PMB react (exercises his own executive powers on a senior level) now, na dis same una go call am "General", " dictator ", " tyrant" and all sorts. |
Ironic:Support this with the one you've made |
guru90:You don't understand how powerful America is. The US is privy to EVERY Intel and has eyes and ears in all the nook and crannies of this world. Trump had issues with the CIA, hence he down played intelligence offered him since last year. |
Don't despise Lagos state. There might be more positive cases in your state. Lagos is carrying out more and aggressive testing. |
seunmohmoh:It does, and this is giving scientists a head scratching moment. Research are still on going on that, we just pray there should be immunity after recovery. Else, bigger kasala! (God forbid) |
guru90:Between WHO and POTUS who do you think had better/reliable Intel regarding the virus? |
mctfopt:Trump has many reliable eyes and ears in China. They told him of the severity of the virus, yet he never acted. Rather, he joked on it by calling it "Chinese virus". Hitting hard on WHO is a subtle way of shifting blame and trying to win back Americans. Mind you, election fast approaches |
During election, the governor of my state gave 10k to every voter in ALL units of the state. Now, during pandemic and totally lockdown, the guy can't give N1 to those he gave 10k to vote for him. |
CHEMISTRY NaOH is a strong base. What is the PH of 0.02M NaOH? |
. |
I blame the private individuals that donated those monies. They should have shared it in their village, community or state. Any money entering Federal coffers is 95% bound to be looted.
|
The fact that recovery from COVID-19 doesn't grant immunity against future reinfection is even the biggest challenge of this pandemic. Very little antibodies (particularly in young people) has been found in those that recovered, and this is giving scientists a serious head-scratching moment. |
Yankee101:Seen. Thanks a lot. I really appreciate this kind gesture. What you give enriches you. |
Yankee101: |
You think its funny. The death toll in Trump led US and other Western powers should give any smart person an idea of how deep the shit the world presently is. See, EVERYBODY is and will feel the impact. Incase you don't know, the lockdown, after the expiration of this 2nd 2weeks, will most likely be extended again and maybe indefinitely. We really need to pray for God's intervention, not just about Covid-19, but for world peace, because the suffering for too much. As e dey so, na only God fit rescue humanity, and I know It definitely will. |
Meanwhile, see their much hyped Amotekun chilling.
|
But e for too much if government pay at least 20k to all Nigerians with accounts liked with verified BVN? I here we have about 40m Nigerians having verified accounts. Thus, 20,000 X 40,000,000 = 80b. Tomorrow now you'll hear government spent over 100b as palliative measures to cushion the effects of the lockdown. E just be say I no dey say make God punish person, I for say make Him punish every member of the Federal Executive Council. |
Evablizin:Yes, the primary responsibility of any responsible government is the wellbeing of her citizens and the protection of their lives and properties. But isn't it lame and unfair that when insane people take up arms and attack their brothers/sisters/parents, people so quick to blame PMB. These monsters come first from families, communities and then societies, and they belong to religious organisations (Christian, Muslim or others). Is PMB responsible for their upbringing and orientation? Incase you don't know: every society gets the kind of leader(s) it deserves. If you want a better "Buhari", start from yourself. Be a better, transformed you. This will reflect in your family, then in your community and finally on the society. |
Sparro:In critical times, fear/panic relegates your sense of rational thinking and chances of survival. It shows that you don't know who and how powerful you are. It tells that you've lost faith in God and has surrendered to the mercy of the situation. This can spread to others around, and the effect could be very unimaginable and far reaching. A person whose time has come, will always obey the call. Chidinma died in good spirit. She stared death in the face and rekindled her trust in God. |
UyaiIncomparabl:If everyone is having the mindset that you do, believe me, there is no hope for humanity. Darkness will prevail over light. I understand what it means to forced people to remain indoors for weeks (particularly in Africa). The whole world is somehow locked down. Its terrible. The truth is: as long as new cases are still being confirmed, the lockdown will be in place. It can only be systematically eased and palliatives provided to the masses until a vaccine/cure is gotten. I'm not privileged o! I've just chosen to be upbeat about this saga. I can go on a meal a day, exercise (to be in shape), pray, and avoid people/thoughts/things that peddle negativity about the situation. Wetin I know be say: Even this shall pass away. |
The Covid-19 pandemic has necessitated the total/partial lockdown of almost all States in Nigeria. This has brought untold hardship to many people, as they are forced to stay indoors without any or very little palliatives from different levels of government. Too much attention has been placed on Mr. President, while other political office holders are isolating themselves with our money. Below are the contacts of our Senators. Contact them and enquire about their plans for palliative measures to cushion the effect of Covid-19 pandemic. ABIA Sen. E. Abaribe 08033129452 | enyiabaribe@yahoo.com Sen. O. Mpigi 08037419000 | mpigib@yahoo.com Someone should help with that of the Ministers, Governors, House of Reps members, State House members, Local government Chairman/Chairperson and Councillors. Though some have really tried, however, many of them need to be questioned. They are simply "eating" on our behalf. |
Yanmiriflathead:On behalf of Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu, Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) too? |
julshairport:1. They see and respect themselves first as humans, then as Americans. 2. They have strong institutions and not strong individuals/politicians/public office holders. 3. The have far better leaders |
atonement12:I don't trade words with people, and definitely not going to start with a big fool like you. Your inability and incapability to see beyond your nose is phenomenal. Stop quoting me. I know se you no get sense. However, the president just technically and in a subtle way announced the indefinite extension of the lockdown. Read in between the lines, dummy! |
atonement12:Your stupidity has clearly beclouded your sense of comprehension (if any). Anyway, my comment was a candid advise to sane and rational Nairalanders. That is the reality on ground. However, I hope things don't get that worse. |
From all indications, the lockdown will be extended and maybe indefinitely. No need to panic, but please manage whatever you have. Don't forget to help your neighbours/relatives if you can. However, lets keep hope alive. Darkness has never, and will never overcome light. |

bkool7:There are confirmed cases of reinfection after recovery. Alot about this virus is presently unknown and scientists are still trying to grapple with why recovery doesn't guarantee immunity |
Covid-19 is really giving scientists worldwide a big head-scratching moment |
MyVILLAGEpeople:None thats been scientifically proven |
Don't be too quick to right off those boys on the battle field. You'd have appreciated them if it was a direct warfare. The BH-war is a political one. The boys know this, and most of them just dey freestyle. |
