Idumota is one part,you hav apongbon,balogun and the rest. Depending on what you're buying. Idumota is just like a general name for one part of it,there's dosunmu,idumagbo for those whoo wants to buy wristwatches in bulk,oluwole is der too leading to mandilas were u can buy wears also to broad street for suits and the rest,evn tinubu square.D dosunmu deals on baby items,jewelry(used to go there and buy chains,earrings pendants and other items I sold when I was in school),watches,electronics,female items like bra,pants,nighties etals(there's a corner called"whoro pedro)then boxer,singlets,hankies and a whole lot. Idumota is also hub for movie marketer(all the movies you need are sold mostly from there)likes of ebinpejo lane,nnamdi azikwe road etc.For those who wants to buy provisioons,head to oke arin,all d way down(u can assess it coming frm apongbon too)balogun deals wit ankara george lace(idumota sells too) wrapper ,female dresses shoes and one or two other item. The other side covers cosmetics and weavons and a few other tins. For those who wants to sell slippers,rubber and fancy ones plus a few others,jus before you descend to were is called "eyin eyo" by the foot bridge to the right,dats their depot. So lagos island as a whole,stocks all,so long you know were you're going,lol!
Tradefair is there too,I don't really knw there much I only go to were I buy my beading items and cosmetics. Its very vast so one needs to knw were one is goin to get directions else u go lost,lol! And did I forget,there's ebute ero for all d tin tomatoes,spag,veg oil and the rest,then there's holloway and one other place if u need pots,plate,cups and household items.
Phew that was an epistle! Did I miss out anytin?if I did its because I'm human and not God so I can't know everytin ,lol

OK quick one, I have posted all I know to the best of my knowledge, based on a few trips to the market or passing through to go somewhere. I don't have the monopoly of knowledge hence can't know everything and everywhere. I'd rather we post any enquiries we need here and others can help to give suggestions or quote me here I'll respond. I've had a few calls from people wch I don't have a problem with. But please don't call me at wrong hours or just call me up to demand information from me, it's not really proper. I actually have my number in my profile for business. You can send a whatsapp it's ok too but I still do not think there is need because I have made a comprehensive explanation of places to get stuff and others have chipped in one or two other tips. I can't physically Take you round THE market or start describing places I don't know in the market or have been to.

1. When my dad just bought Nokia 3310 , very expensive at the time, he was gathering money to buy SIM card another priceless possession...He warned me not to touch the phone (he kept it on top of the cloth hanger ).I was about 7 at the time, I was a playful and extremely inquisitive child, my sustained inquisitiveness led me into my current career path as a programmer.
Anyway, some days later he found a scratch on the screen of the phone, called me and asked me why I still went there after he warned me...In all honesty I didn't touch it, but he didn't believe me.

He flogged the living day-light out of me, he flogged me so much that I confessed to a crime I didn't commit.I had to admit to what I didn't do

Years later I reminded him :

Daddy, see that phone that year, yes, the one you flogged me so much for , I didn't touch it, I was innocent....Baba was shinning his teeth , no apology till today

I am married now, my children must hear this as soon as they are born, I would send them to torment him on why he punished their father unjustly Lol those folks don't apologize o.

I read through the thread,my heart bleed. My son became 3yrs on his way to 4 when like joke a flash of light seen in his eyes turned out to be a nightmare for the entire family for the next two years. My son suffered cancer of the eyes,he underwent 14 circle of chemotherapy.Even when the eye was enucleated,some particles of the tumour was left behind due to lack of precision equipment during the surgery.what we thought was over,we began another set of journeys in saving his life,by then the tumour had spread to the optic nerve. CANCER is a bastard. My son started radiation again,he had radiotherapy three separate times. At the end he couldn't fight cancer any longer. Somebody help me I am crying profusely over here. Before now,i have read of cancer,but it never occurred to me how deadly it is. Treating CANCER is like a white Elephant project. I thank God for Nairaland and the OP for the previlliege to pour out my heart and to announce to the whole word the thought of Him(my Son) remains indelible. Bishop my son,your daddy is crying,your mum,grannies aunts,uncles and neighbours,even your little siblings won't forget you in a hurry. In this 21 century,it is impossible to forget you,your pictures and videos are all stored in the cloud,flash drives,memory cards even emails. Sorry we can't forget you.Adieu NNwajesu(Bishop).
