The poo below summerises your illness. PvtParts: Speaking of future leaders...
Do you know that Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was one of the pioneering exco members of the Muslim Student Society that was formed on ABU campus?
Do you know that in 1979 at which time Sanusi was still an undergraduate at ABU, that the Muslim Student Society staged series of violent protests demanding that the ongoing Constitution draft should include Sharia law into the penal system?
The MSS will attack non Muslim students, vandalize school property, burn the VC's lodge and later seek sanctuary from the Police in a mosque?
The history of sectarian violence in northern universities began with the MSS. There are dozens of violent protest by the MSS that have been perpetuated across campus in northern Nigeria by this group since its formation in the 70's .
Sanusi will later instigate a sectarian riot in Kano during the Abacha era from where he was jailed and later exiled to Sudan where he had close audience with Osama bin Laden.
While you fools in the south think your campus fraternity will get you some place in the future, the MSS is solidly entrenched in the helms of affairs in Nigeria today.

vizion: Thanks for this piece to enlighten folks
If you notice, the ppl celebrating this action, are just biased. This can be seen where they claim the removal of Omehia was roundly done by an 'evil' Ameachi. While they have forgotten that Omehia was not removed by Ameachi, by the supreme court of Nigeria, chaired by 3 learned Judges. Thank, indeed it was the Full Court consisting of SEVEN JUSTICES decided that matter. |

ShySteady: Then we should stop referring to Oyinlola, Ngige, etc as 'former governors' and all entitlements they are currently enjoying should be revoked. Governor Wike has stated his reasons for restating Omehia where he truly belongs. If we think the Barrister Governor is wrong, let us take him to court on this. Illegitimate is worse than illegal in this context. Well the barrister governor is in contempt of court and section 308 of the Constitution is there for and against him. |

Politics › Re: Another Civil War Will Lead To The End Of Nigeria; Setting The Records Straight. by bakila: 9:37pm On Jun 25, 2015 |
bukster: I think your analysis a bit faulty. The Biafran war started of as just a war between the North and the SE. The SW didn't join until after the Biafran soldiers started moving to the west. The MB only helped the north because Igbo groups killed their leaders. The SS helped the Nigerian soldiers because they were treated badly by the Biafran soldiers. People didn't turn against Igbos because they hated them but because of certain actions the Igbo leaders took before and during the Biafran war. Even Cameroon which was initially helped Biafra later aided in the embargo because of the way they were treated by Biafra.
If Igbos want to secede thorough war or otherwise it is better to make as few enemies as possible. If Igbos make the same mistakes again, history would just repeat itself. Frank, concise and to the point. |

opiloper: I'm a constitutional lawyer i support wike ...... and you are oblivious of Amaechi v. I.N.E.C. (No.3) (2007) 18 NWLR (Pt.1065) 2 (2007) 7-10 S.C. 172, where the Supreme Court said that the Candidate of the PDP at the Eections was Ameachi not Omehia? If Omehia in the eyes of the Law was not a Candidate how would he be a Governor? You also did not read Omehia vs Ameachi, where the Court of Appeal said it is bound by the principle of stare decisis. Wike has bitten more than he can chew. You also did not read Awuse vs Omehia Suit No: CA/PH/EPT/8/08 where the court of appeal said thus "During the pendency of the Appellant's petition, the Supreme Court in a unanimous judgment which was delivered on the 15th October, 2007 in an appeal between RT. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi v (1) Independent National Electoral Commission (2) Celestine Omehia, (3) Peoples Democratic Party and Ors. (2008) 5 NWLR (Pt.1080) 227 held that Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi was the PDP's candidate at April, 14th, 2007 Governorship election in Rivers State and not Celestine Omehia. The Supreme Court therefore ordered Celestine Ngozichim Omehia to vacate the Government House with immediate effect for Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi. The order was complied with and Amaechi was sworn in as the Governor of Rivers State after Celestine Omehia vacated the Government House. The effectual post mortem of the judgment of the apex court therefore heralded that Celestine Ngozichim Omehia was never either the PDP candidate nor did he ever contest and talk less of winning the said questioned governorship election held on the 14th April, 2007. Consequent to the foregoing therefore Celestine Omehia brought an application to have his name struck out from the appellant's petition. .... The tribunal after hearing both sides granted the application and struck out the Respondent's name. The decision in which the Respondent's name was struck out is therefore the subject matter of the first appeal." WHICH LAW YOU READ SEF? SLEEPING ON THE BED LAW? |

EUROBOMBER: You got it wrong, not even all the Igbos are calling for a war although some are shouting Biafra every now and then. What I am trying to say is that the situation now is very different from what it was in 1966, this is 2015. The MB of today will never join in any fight against the East not after all the bloodshed the core North has inflicted on them. Do you know what is happening in the MB? take some time and do a research and you will understand better where I am coming from.
The Niger Delta of today would do anything to throw off the dead weight of the core north unlike in 1967 whn they were made to see the Igbos as their enemies. A lot of water has gone under the bridge bro. You must also factor in the fact that the Nigerian military only wins when they have overwhelming advantage, just check our records and even now with boko haram.
Besides, wars don't seem to end these days, look at what is happening all over the world, wars tend to be everlasting. Please use your leave and travel to Jos, Jalingo, Minna, Kafachan, Makurdi, Lokoja and Ganye. Talk with people and you will find out that those you mentioned have no interest in siding with your Nairaland permutations. After you are done with your travel engage Igbo political and business leaders in Abuja, Kano and Lagos. You will find out that the majority of Igbos give no thought to a Biafra-like civil war. The NIGERIAN ARMY dealt with Ojukwu not a Yoruba, Middle belt or Hausa army. THE NIGERIA ARMY, will deal will deal with any neo-Ojukwuist of violent Biafralist. Ask the people or Borno and Yobe with Boko Haram and THE NIGERIAN ARMY caused to the land. The same fate awaits any enclave in the east that attack the Army or Police of NIGERIA on biafra reasons. |

Wike should go ahead and throw them out of office jare. have you read the amendment of section 155 of the Constitution and the wide powers given to the National Industrial Court? Wike should lead his party to an election Tribunal. Afterall the APC federal Government did not annul his elections which was adjudged by Observers as one of the worst elections in the World. |

The igbo version of boko haram a cult of tribalist extremist. Normality: So since he is an empty boaster, how did he track down the schools Rochas grand children attends, then names of all their security details, the village of this security guys, the names of their own kids, the once that have kids, and the names of Rochas grandchildren and he even announced it on air.
He called the number of Rochas CSO on air too.
I always advice people to stay away from what is deeper than they can go.
Of cus I followed and destroyed Kumuiyi's bus yesterday that was announcing his crusade in my area, that was yesterday evening.
Come at me. If Kumuiyi says Nnamdi is boasting why is he guarding his churches 24 hours everyday with Soldiers and Police men since last week.
If they claim superman, why did Binez hotel cancel his reservation after they saw what passed them.
Nnamdi Kalu has huge cult followership, and of cus in my own city, we no send whether u be angel, if u are an enemy to Nnamdi and Biafra struggle, u don buy problem from Colombia guys in my city, and this boys don't have joy, they don't care if they die today.

engineerboat: This is not PDP defeat bitterness.
But can't APC state one sentence without mentioning PDP defeat, GEJ for once.
1. What econonoy is better (Please state with reasons) 2. What are the things that are falling into shape (EFCC release Nyako, Sylva et.al), Bombing those waving hand to NAF in Calabar 3. Creating West Germany from Germany with President Mistchel 4. Double tongue (One press statement by a SSA in the Morning, another tune in the afternoon, counter in the evening) 5. Emergency meeting to cause constitutional crisis at the NASS
Tell us, highlight them, let us know. You lay out was was obtainable 22 days before Goodluck was defeated and 22 days after Buhari was sworn in we take it from there. EFCC were supposed to do their work before arresting Nyako, their stupidity in not reading the provision of section 35(5)a can only be the handiwork of GEJ appointees. They should make it public where Buahri or any person through him had asked them to release the accused person. Why did GEJ government not prosecute Nyako in absentia or Sylva to conclusion. Your fat lie that the Airforce is bombing those waving at them is so obvious. Who will be waving at a fighter Jet? Are you too dull to know that a Jet fighter does not travel at the speed of a Chopper? It is like your other moniker's claim that it is arguing for Nigeria not the protection money he received from PDP. Your oga is a self-serving protection seeker.
