delors:You no get sense idio*t , How person go call Skales B-list artiste you no get sense someone who is still struggling to release one hit song not to talk of an album. |
SonOfAfonja:Are you sleep walking, Chris Brown doesn't make hit songs anymore, I don't think you are following American music at all, his Party song ft Usher and Gucci Mane went platinum and you say he isn't making hit songs, Chris Brown and Beyonce are the only two constant hit makers in the US for the last 10 years back. |
Clakyvip:You maybe right but if he isn't A-list then a lot of other guys on the B-list ought to be demoted to C-list |
Clakyvip:He doesn't have to go international at least he has good fan base in the UK his type of music is local so we can regard him as A-list because of the number of hit songs he has to his name. |
slodot2000:Na wa for una, you guys don't know how they do this rating, your number of hit songs and years in the Music Industry is what they use to regard A-list Dbanj was relevant and releasing hit songs for 10 good years, just because now he isn't releasing hit songs doesn't make him not A-list. If Jay Z and Madonna,Jlo are still regarded A-list why not Dbanj when last did Madonna even release a song. |
Clakyvip:Olamide B-list are you Okay at all. |
jel10:That is never the way it is done. Dbanj not releasing hit songs anymore doesn't make even drop from A-list, he has released quite enough hit songs and paid his dues in the industry. Tekno releasing hit songs now has to keep up the pace for a few more years before he can be regarded A-list. Tekno only really came to lime light last year so it's too early to call him A-list. |
delors:Skales B-list are you awake or sleeping? Am sure u were sleep walking when u mentioned it. |
chesterlee:See you just because they are not reigning again doesn't make them not A-list they have paid their dues in the industry and will always command respect. Madonna doesn't even make music again must she is regarded as A-list because of what she has done in the past. Phyno and Tekno are not even 5 years in the industry but because they are producing hit music of recent, you want to categorize them as A-list |
IffaCatchYouEhn:They will never eat watery beans, best they will send them back to China and ban them from entering Nigeria though you can trust they will find their way back after bribing a few Oga at the top Immigration officers. |
ELKHALIFAISIS:You see u guys don't know anything about Lagos, na your Papa land abeg shift. |
ELKHALIFAISIS:Mumu funny enough this area is Ijebu/Awori territory. Better face your Biafra. |
comshots:It's more like 70% Private foreign investment and 30% state investment. It's a PPP Public /Private Partnership. The Lebanese brothers Chagoury are the ones handling the project. More of such is still coming to Lagos, the smart city MOU Ambode signed in Dubai is coming soon. |
G4JEEZUS:We all know there is nepotism in the area of Employment favouring the Hausa/Fulani but in this case Nigeria before Buhari and drop of oil price has been spending huge amounts of dollars importing rice so knowing the kind of country we are in they will surely abandon the Mill. What about Ajaokuta still Industrial complex abandoned and so many FG building and facilities all over Nigeria. |
G4JEEZUS:My friend stop bringing tribal sentiments into this, there are many abandoned FG facilities and buildings all over Nigeria. |
And Anambra state govt cannot approach the FG to sell this facility to them (just like Lagos state govt approached the FG to sell all the abandoned stadium, Nations theatre and the Federal secretariat) so they can also start producing enough rice. |
What amazes me about the Igbos and Nnamdi Kanu is that you are saying Nigeria is a forced marriage on you but you also want to lump other ethnic minorities into your biafra is that not also going to be a forced marriage in future. The truth is that there is no Biafra without the Core Niger delta, they need your Oil and they need access to sea. For me we need each other one way or the other but let there be equity and Justice in this contraption called Nigeria, let every state create their own laws and control their resources so we can keep any intruding tribes(Fulani herdsmen) in check on their land. |
There is no link to even show the credibility of the article, but if truly Sanusi said this, then is the political war btw two Western region leaders enough reason to cause a Military coup carried out by an Igbo majority and Senior military officers? Why did the military not take over government during the several political fights in this 4th Republic? His submission is no excuse for the coup. The Igbo nation ought to apologize for what their military boys did and the North too ought to apologize for the killings of innocent Igbo lives. |
Lekayleke:2019 election or not the best thing is to scrap the constitution given to us by the military, let the people make their own constitution of how they want to be governed themselves. It is disheartening to hear such things as this topic in a country where people are starving to death. No welfare system yet some people are buying 17m naira vehicles what happened to about 20 units of Hiace Buses that can convey committees to their various project sites. No equity and Justice in this country and this will end very soon. The government is not a people's government but a Politician's government. As far as am concerned the Nigerian people have no government. |
But Sanchez get Abdominal injury now! so he is not in the line up. |
Wonderful piece you wrote up there OP. Best things is to ask a lady what she wants many just go to school for the sake of being called a graduate, many don't want to work but get married and become a house wife so what is the essence of the University education her parents gave her. Maybe some of them should just stop at Secondary level. |
dutchnorics:My friend it is the the same Onitsha, the throne of Onitsha too was founded by the Benin Empire but that doesn't make Onitsha Benin land same as Lagos. |
Well let me educate some kids here, I agree with that People would choose to believe whatever they want to anyway doesn't change the fact. The fact the throne of Lagos was created by a Bini Prince doesn't make it Bini land. Just like the throne of Onitsha was created by the Oba of Benin too doesn't make Onitsha a Benin land. Pre Colonial times, the Benin Empire had a strong influence on a large expanse of people across the Niger to the East and west down towards Oyo and Dahomey Empire. We all know the first settlers on the now Lagos (Eko) are the Aworis who welcomed a Bini Prince and asked him to rule over them because they were defending them from the Dahomey warriors. But the throne after the 3rd generation was been ruled by the Aworis after the Oba then didn't have a male child so his daughter married an indigene. The fact that the present day Britain(Britannia) was a name given to them by the Roman Empire in today's Italy and ruled by Roman commander put in charge by the Emperor but they ruled Anglo-saxons(English people) doesn't make mean Britain of now is owned by the Italian people of Roma (or Rome) Many places in Jerusalem, Bethlehem during the time of Jesus Christ was ruled by Roman Pilates and Commander, they ruled Jews, Hebrews and Pharisees. It's all due to the influence of the then Roman Empire does that make Present day Isreal a Roman Land? Even Egypt is not left out,The Emperor Julius Caesar sent a Roman commander of Mark Anthony to rule over Egypt during the time of Cleopatra does that make present day Egypt a Roman land or Italian land? So like wise is the issue of Lagos and Onitsha the Benin emissaries and Prince from Benin ruled over the indigenous people. After the fall of the Benin Empire likewise the Fall of the Roman Empire the indigenous people started ruling themselves. So there is no argument there Lagos is Yoruba land. The present Oba of Lagos is an Awori man. There is even a difference between Lagos Island and Lagos state. Lagos Island where the Oba of Lagos rules down towards Ota in Ogun state is Awori land but the Ikorodu and Epe area is owned by the Ijebu people. Many non-Yorubas wouldn't know these things because they aren't connected to the land all they see is the Bridge, Roads, Buildings etc they don't know the history of the land. |
tooth4tooth:Is like most of the illiterates here don't know what they call Freight quotes and cost. Some many factors contribute to high freight cost like distance, insurance, security of the vessel. Look at the coast line of Lagos to Europe where most of the things are imported from look at the coastline of Calabar,Onne and Warri you will understand that the Eastern ports are inland ports closer to the rest of Africa But far to Europe,Asia and America where most goods and merchandise are imported. Lagos is more closer to Europe. Besides the Eastern coastline to other parts of Africa and to Europe is along the Gulf of Guinea that is full of sea pirates along the coast of Somalia. As a business man why would I not prefer to collect my goods from Lagos and transport through road or rail to other parts of Nigeria than incure a huge freight cost of ships coming down from Western axis down to the Eastern axis. Why do you think Some business men import Cars and other things to Cotonou and Lome and then bring them through the land border to Nigeria. The Freight cost is simply cheaper because Cotonou and Lome are closer to Europe than Lagos so likewise is Lagos closer to Europe than Calabar,Warri and Onne. As far as Nigeria is concerned Onne,Calabar and PH ports were constructed majorly for Export of Coal and Crude oil not for Imports. People that have used Onne will tell you it's simply expensive because of freight cost. If the FG wanted to marginalize the SS or SE they won't build the ports in the first place. Maybe they would transport the Crude oil to Lagos and then ship it to the World. |
smartnero24:You are right that was a grace mistake selling Neymar without first securing a replacement. Now all the clubs want to tap a large percentage from Neymar's buyout fee. Liverpool with Coutinho now Dortmund with Dembele. If they insist on buying a replacement they will get a player who is not half as good as Neymar for 3/4 of Neymar's buy out fee. |
eleojo23:Na wa for u o! Are you a blind man? |
Lloydfolarin:You are right, British people very racist but they know how to pretend about it than an average American who prefers to pour out his mind. They will only show their racist nature if they are pissed about something. I faced alot of coded racism while I there. |
femi4:They amended their constitution during the election before this one to be 7 years per term. |
Obi1kenobi:What is Canada using as their own Petrol and fuel is it not Bitumen. You can get end products such as Petrol and diesel from Bitumen but it is more expensive to mine and technological driven than the Crude oil. Reason why Nigeria cannot afford to go the route of Canada because they want the fast and easy route. |
