obailala:If the FG owes him 16bn like you and your IPOB brothers claim why is he not suing the FG to court for unlawful detention and debt instead he is paying the FG 2bn naira for what exactly? Receive sense. |
NwaAmaikpe:Oga na story b that, if you like go school, you no get money, the world will recognize the person with money better. See hate, politically motivated by who? Abeg go back to bed with your tribal sentiments. |
NwaAmaikpe:Wetin dey worry you Igbo people sef, must you compare him with Achebe, he has a Nobel Laureate prize your Achebe doesnt have, so tell me who the world recognizes the most? |
You can see that part of the wall is not dry like the rest, it's a newly plastered wall. I guess those guys were just trying a joke on people. |
I don't know how u will go to war and lose and come back better. Its not possible, if you lose a war you lose everything is that simple. If Biafra had won the war, Nigeria would be worse for it. Besides let every Igbo reason this. It was immediately after the pogrom Ojukwu asked every Igbo to relocate back to Eastern Nigeria, it was not during the Pogrom because we saw old pictures of people moving in droves to the East, if it was during the Pogrom, I doubt if People will be able to get transport not to talk of moving in droves. That proves that many Igbos withdrew their money as a matter of urgency before the declaration of Biafra. In those days, there were no computers (remember Computers were made in the late seventies and eighties during the time of IBM and Steve Jobs Apple) my grandmother who worked in Barclays bank attested to that. Another food for thought, apart from PH that Igbos properties were not returned, in Lagos their properties were kept for them and returned, my grandfather kept an igbo neighbour's house and returned it to him after the war. Likewise many Yorubas did so, so why would they confiscate their monies if truly they had one. |
Limitless72:Do you know Delta was part of the Western region before it was mid west region. |
Some idiots will say Lagos is over rated as if they don't know these things happen in Coastal cities with high magnitude rainfall. Flood happened in the North side of England while I was there, it happens in the USA so it's not a matter of Government or Overrated, it just nature. These areas for some of you that don't know are some of the best real estate locations in Nigeria, you think they don't know they ought to have good drainage system since it keeps happening every year. |
Danielmoore:See this guy Abuja wey be Desert na hin u dey compare to a state close to the Atlantic Ocean. Go check your brain dude. |
I think its for memories. When they see those things dey remember good old times. |
attackgat:Then go with an homogeneous nation of Igboid people don't force other people who has no ties with Igbos into your Biafra. |
Kanu is a dreamer, if a referendum is to be conducted, it can only be conducted for people of one origin and ancestry. How can he meddle people of different ancestry into his Biafra. Delta state has Itsekiri a people of Odudwa ancestry,Ijaw that has no ties or similarities to the Igbos,People of Akwa-ibom and Calabar( the Efik,Oron,Ibibio etc). It just shows he is looking for a Biafra that would be dominated by Igbos. If truly he is sincere why not include only Anioma,Agbor in Delta, Ikwerre, Opobo,Ndoni and the rest of the Igboid sub groups in Rivers. Those are the people with one ancestry with Igbos. |
When the Map of Oduduwa included Warri the home of Itsekiris some people called us Yoruba land grabbers, can we now see that Map is correct and is in line. Unlike the Igbos who include the whole of Delta and Kogi as Biafra. Do they want to include Okun people of Kabba in Kogi and Itsekiri people of Warri land in Delta state. The Map of Oduduwa Republic brings all people of Oduduwa ancestry together as one Nation while Biafra brings different people of different ancestry together which is another blooming disaster like that of Nigeria. That's why the presence of OPC is very strong in Warri. I boarded a Bus from PH to Lagos, the driver was speaking a language like Yoruba I thought he was all this Akoko- Ondo Yoruba and was talking to him not knowing he was an Itsekiri man. |
This issue is very clear let the Senate head to court over this issue. The constitution itself is contradicting itself. The senate is standing on the 152/153/154 section of the constitution together with the EFCC act, which say the Chairman should be confirmed by the senate. The Executive is holding up the 171 section of the constitution that the EFCC chairman is an appointee of the Presidency. But my own personal opinion is that Magu can remain in acting capacity without the approval of the Senate. Only if Magu is to be a substantive Chairman then the Senate has to approve it, but as it is I stand with the Executive. |
Viergeachar:I know after 90days the President cannot perform his role, the Vice president assumes the office of the president but I foresee the Cabals bringing him back home before 90days elapses and that way they will want to keep the power and Buhari from the Public but still lie to us that he is working from Home like Lai Mohammed said the other day, this will still keep Osinbajo in acting capacity till 2019. But I don't see how Osinbajo can be removed. |
Look at all these small small boys from the first page. The only thing the so called Cabal and Saraki can do is to keep Osinbajo in acting capacity till 2019 so he won't have power of incumbency. Thereafter, an APC national conference will be held to tell him to step down for a Northern candidate for the 2019 presidency which is what I expect Osinbajo to do, we Yorubas have used our term(Obasanjo) so let him step down. The constitution is very clear and sacrosanct on this issue, he cannot be forced out of office except through the option of a military coup and right now world over Military coup is not common and unacceptable to the World powers and the UN. Any attempt to ignore the constitution,Yorubas will decide they want to break away as well and with agitations for Biafra and Niger delta Republic on the cards will result to eventual breakup of the country. The cabals will not have the country they want to govern. |
dadexcel:My friend you are as dull as Bleep, the legislative arm doesn't have the right to force the executive to remove any of its appointees or blackmail the executive, they can only recommend the removal. Only the Judiciary is the last deciding arm of all 3 arms. If they don't want Magu they shd approach the Courts not blackmail the executive, the issue of Magu shd not stop the country from moving forward. The legislators are blocking other appointments that will move the country forward because they want to force the executive to remove Magu, if after they approach the courts and the courts decide Magu shd go and the executive refuse to comply then they can blackmail the executive. |
We waiting for LMAO to b complete. Lacazette - Mahrez - Alexis - Ozil |
I am Yoruba but with all sincerity without looking at it from a tribal prism. Igbos and Hausa/Fulani are the most clannish tribes in Nigeria. The statement they don't sell land to other tribes is very correct, they barely even sell land to another Igbo from another Igbo state not to talk of other Nigerian tribes. If only the elders have condemned Kanu's hate speeches all these Ultimatums wouldn't have come to bare. I believe the Elders want Biafra also they are just scared of all they would loose if the seccessed. |
Markfemi2:Well I must agree with you, no matter how much Yoruba blood he has inside of him, if he doesn't want to identify with us we cannot call him Yoruba. But I am not aware of where he said he is Fulani and not Yoruba. Why then did he names his kids Yoruba names, his father, mother and his siblings all bear Yoruba names? Just like we know Ikwerre in PH are Igbos by Culture and tradition but they still refuse to identify themselves as Igbos. |
Markfemi2:You cant wish away the Yoruba blood inside of him now. He is even more Yoruba than Fulani he only has ancestral ties to Fulani. |
Markfemi2:I agree but he is a Yoruba-Fulani man. |
Markfemi2:Well I will say he is a mix of both but a more dominant Yoruba gene. According to Wiki his Paternal ancestors were Fulani from Mail but generations of marrying women of the Old Oyo Empire has made Abubakar Bukola Saraki a Yoruba man. His case is just like that of Ross Barkley, His great grandfather is a Black Nigerian who married a white English woman and their mixed race son married an English white woman again which will make them give birth to a white English child with Nigerian decent. Today you can't say Ross Barkley isn't English after all he is white. Same goes for Bukola Saraki his siblings are Temitope,Laolu and Gbemisola Saraki... His children are Oluwaseni and Teniola saraki. |
Markfemi2:See you can't argue it, let me tell you if I was born in the East and raised in the East and I behave like an Igbo man does that remove the Yoruba blood in me. Why are all his family members and Sons bearing Yoruba names(Oluwaseni,Gbemi and ,Teniola) are they not supposed to be bearing Fulani names like Daura, Dambazua etc. Guy go and sitdown the history of how Ilorin got to be an emirate is known, the throne was previously occupied by a fulani man until they were forced out but because the place has been highly Islamized and declared an emirate, the title cannot be reverted to Obaship. Go and learn brother. The Governor Abdul Fatah Ahmed sounds Hausa/Fulani but the man is a Yoruba Man. |
Markfemi2:You are deceiving yourself if you think Saraki is not a Yoruba Man. Just go to his Wiki page and learn, you will know he is a full Yoruba man just that his father from Oyo State lived among the Fulani's does that take away his Yoruba blood. If only you Igbos or maybe SS understand some of these things you will know the difference, Emir or Sultan is not an Hausa/Fulani title, it is an Islamic title and many Yorubas are Muslims as well. The present Emir of Ilorin is a Yoruba Man. The city of Ilorin is highly Islamized compared to some other SW towns thats why you lot relate every Islamic things to only Hausa/Fulani not knowing it is an Arabian/Islamic title not particularly Hausa/Fulani title. Other Yoruba towns like Ede,Iseyin,Saki are highly Islamic as well so learn Islam came to Yoruba Land as well as Hausa/Fulani land, some people in Yoruba Land just preferred Christianity. |
OP the whole of Delta and Rivers is not Igbo land. |
Asari dey craze, so hin no see pictures of Lagos pre independence and Post independence before Oil? Was Lagos a village or desert before Oil? Besides Lagos receives about 9billion per month from Oil allocation and it's IGR is 33 billion per month, so you can see Oil allocation is insignificant to its development. |
Lagos go wait for am to catch up with am, Lagos sef no go progress and move forward? |
AshiwajuFoward:Bro I just have one correction for this your post, The Kwarans are more Yoruba than some Yorubas in the SW forget Nigeria's Geo political zoning. Go to Kwara and you will know. The Yorubas in Kogi are the ones that needs consulting, they are the ones that are drifting away but as for Kwara they are even more Yoruba than Ondo people. Akoko-Edo and Okun people in Kogi are the Yorubas drifting from the Bigger Yoruba entity. |
simplycarro:They feel Lagos na their entitlement but East na for dem alone. The day Biafra go come, we go pursue their ass comot for here. |
simplycarro:Na wa for this people always turning everything to tribal war, na Phyno the guy beef no be am so why hin con carry am for head. |
Nigeria don dey Yorubanized finish even Calabar boy dey talk "Olowogbogboro" everybody don dey buy Aso-ebi for wedding, dey do Yoruba Demon, It is finished Nigeria shd make Yoruba the 2nd official language. |
Stormisova:Wetin dey happen for east? who dey fear Igbo boys? Abeg swerve, the guy dey tour Europe and America you dey talk east, better people know East abeg go sleep. |
