And it is about 200 and something years old...what are you saying bros? What? if there is a problem in Nigeria, what part have you played to solve the problem? All you do is sit in the corner of your room or at the vendor stand and condemn the government as if the government is all to be blamed for people's woes. Individual efforts can contribute to the growth of Nigeria. i have seen very young innovative guys making things to make their lives better. facebook, google, youtube, microsoft, cars, telephone, etc were not created by the governments....but by indivduals like you and i. blackberry was created at a university (university of Waterloo) by a student. Since you studied abroad, did you notice all the electronics stuffs? in the washrooms, CCTVs, toasters, microwave, even a computer mouse, toys, etc were all created by young guys in their 20s...and the government came in to support them...and it is still happening. Go to app store, all those apps you see on android fones were created by very very young university students, not the government...it is high time you stopped blaming the government for your woes and make your own contribution...let's see how far you can go.

Job in Nigeria is like a miracle,you hardly hear someone say they got a job but all in all, God is the Ultimate factor in getting a job in Nigeria.Even 40k job to take dey manage I no see. Frustration is there already I pray it doesn't get to depression,am simply tired.Hard work doesn't pay in the Nigerian Society anymore.

The presence of SA Retail Shop like Shoprite is good for Nigeria, for my many reasons some folks here have mentioned.Living in London for 4years,made me enjoy shopping from different shops like Tesco,Sainsbury,Morisson,Asda and so on which are all British retail shops.They also have foreign retail shops like Costco and Lidl which are American and Sweddish respectively.So in my own opinion, I think Shoprite has actually enlightened the Nigerian economy to a modern way of shopping, which will now pave way for more retail shops to be created by Nigerians.Instead our leaders stash up cash in foreign countries and never open any business here, which is d result of massive unemployment.Shoprite should also open smaller outlets across Lagos,Abuja and expand their business across the country like they are doing.

The Visa bond is a good idea bt should be reduced to about 500 pounds. Why wld I pay 3000pds to visit britain to see my family there,anyone on Visitor's visa is restricted to a lot tins anyway so why such an amt again.You can't work, u can't use the NHS and u can't even rent a house so they shd further tighten that system for pple having the mind of overstaying their visit and nt bring abt a stupid visa bond on genuine travellers.when I was in their useless country studying,I know of a sister in church(Nigerian) was frustrated with her life coz she could nt live well due to the fact that she was on a visitor's visa and cldnt work,rent a place or even use the NHS she had to come back to Nigeria with her child.Besides its these Eastern Europeans that flock down there to utilize all dis facilities for free.They are just discriminating against non-white countries dats all and they do not need blacks anymore coz their white niggas(Polish pple) can do d dirty jobs we blacks do over there.To the point Abike Dabiri is making, I don't think we can apply such on them they don't come here as such except to work as expatraites.Its a wake up call for the Nigerian govt to start developing its own economy coz they can't try such with Brazil.
