First of all the one the beached up in lagos is a white whale, from the video you will notice that happened in South Africa the eat the meat. If it's not decomposing folk eat whale, the Chinese, Japanese, Korean they all eat whales, shake and dolphins, if the meat is fresh. Let not related it to poverty or a Nigerian thing. I remember in 1981 on bar beach close to NBA, school of oceanography off Ahmed Bello way one big fish beached up there. People took their cutlass to it I don't know why but it was also in the month of December.

Maybe they were migrating to their breeding ground. But one thing oh, with that kind of cutlass boko haram no stand chance for lagos oh.... Lol

some are born into a system that made it difficult for them to understand how democratic governance works.

it is just like on your street, you appoint a CDA chairman and all the chairman does is mobilize the youths in the area to deal with you
while paying the youth from the money each house contributed for development

not only that, the CDA chairman lives on your money, sends his kids to the best school, and travels abroad for medical checkups off all your money
and when the money is getting low, he says every house must pay more even if it means you have to withdraw your child from school (austerity)
meanwhile, he is not ready to reduce his own spending.

that is how Nigeria currently runs.
I can correctly predict without being a TBJ that the end of GEJ's reign of squander and terror will end soon
with him paying either the ultimate price or getting a lengthy jail term
I agree with you that price of crude oil is falling and masses will feel the pain that been said I think this will affect the out come of the election

He painted a descriptive picture of our current political system with GEJ been at the head of affairs and you think it's because non of his sons were offered ministerial position. Some 1000 soldiers and policemen have sealed the entrance of the National Assembly in Abuja and physically prevented the Speaker of the House from entering.

Sahara Reporters Media

The Speaker of the House, Aminu Tambuwal arrived the National Assembly today with a view to preside over the sitting of the House but fierce looking troops posted the stopped him at the gate. A melee has ensued as a result.
Mr. Tambuwal, President Goodluck Jonathan and the ruling People’s Democratic Party are at loggerheads over the Speaker’s decision to decamp to the All Progressives Congress (APC) a few weeks ago.

Immediately he joined the APC his personal security guards were withdrawn on the orders of the President.

The Speaker left PDP which has majority seat, so by law his no longer the speaker of the house. Even in the states when the Republican won both the house and the Senate they took control of leadership of both the house and Senate.

That been said why do Jonathan act like he never attached primary school. PHD holder should be able to read the Constitution and know every process goes through judiciary system. Why the military. Why force. This is why am against this zoning system yards is from the north so will want vp from where ever the hell he's from.

Now they said Christian /Muslim or Muslim /Christian. Why all this. The average Nigerian is concerned about what's on my plate for Christmas, what school /educational facilities are available for my kids. Do they have access to provide health facilities. I don't care if Babalawo run the country as long as we have basic human needs.

Like I always say Na amadioha go strike the anuofia wey dey disturb my father's land.
Christianity Etc › Re: Synagogue Building Felled By Controlled Demolition -police by bameyi(m): 12:31am On Nov 20, 2014
Omooba77:
The Homicide Department of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Lagos, has submitted that the Synagogue six-storey building could have been felled by a techique termed controlled demolition. According to the SCID, controlled demolition is when a building is felled using chemical or electronic device. The position of the SCID was given by the Head, Homicide Investigation and Crime Scene Management at Panti, DSP Olusola Agoyi.

Agoyi testified on Wednesday at the resumed sitting of the coroner, Magistrate O.A. Komolafe, probing the cause of the September 12 tragedy. The accident claimed no fewer than 116 lives.Agoyi, in his testimony, said the speed and the rate at which the Synagogue building caved in, coupled with some dust-like smoke that followed were peculiar elements seen only in a building felled by controlled demolition.

He said, “My Lord, when you use chemical or electronic device to bring down a building, it is controlled demolition.“I found out from the CCTV that the rate and the speed of the fall of the building within seconds was just like that of a controlled demolition.

“Aside that, the CCTV 3 captured some dust-like smoke coming out of the collapsed building.”Further lending weight to his claim, Agoyi referred the coroner to the oral account of one of the 34 survivors that he said were interviewed in the course of his intelligent findings.“

The panel also interviewed one Taiwo Temitayo Taiwo, aged 28 years, one of the surviving victims of the collapsed building and I quote, ‘Immediately the building was coming down, what I saw or heard was like a thunderous lightning accompanied with a sound, hitting the wall as if someone was using a saw to cut an iron, then the house collapsed,'” Agoyi submitted.

Na amadioha go strike the Ansonia any body wey believe this report from the judge to the prosecutors to including defence lawyer. 116 death and no one of them have the heart to admit the fact that the structure of the building was ment for just 2 story and not the 4or6 story.

First of all if the so called SCID or whatever they called did a detailed job, first question where are the documented fact by an independent body of the Chemical residues or electronic signature from the controlled demolition.

Secondly who authorized the controlled demolition and if it's a sabotage some arrest should have been made.

Like I said Na amadioha go strike the Ansonia wey believe this find. Make una repent oh, no be only me God go judge oh.....

I married a Nigerian man, I was a fool. He was so convincingly sincere, he really fooled me into believing he was such a man of God and that he loved me. I was married to him over 7 years. After he got his citizenship and a child from me, he became a totally different man to me. Towards the end, I started find out many things he hid from me. It was a very shocking and bitter pill to swallow. Ladies, I have learned from personal experience that Nigerian men can pretend for long periods of time. It still is very hard on me to realize that this man that I loved so deeply was only out to use me for money and citizenship, and whoever know what else he was trying to get from me. BE CAREFUL. Hi fellow nairalander's, don't read one side of the story and draw a conclusion I reside in the States and have seen how this women treat immigrants. Forget about if the guy was looking for green card or not. Even if you have your credentials, like diversified visa.

When they catch jungle fever, they want you. Look the problem is simply cultural differences. When this women hook up with nigerian men and the men treat them nice they love it, I grew up in a family where my dad was the sole provider. I will provide for my home. This women enjoy it.

But mind you the man expect something back the respect of the head of the house hold. I don't know how many of you have filed income tax in the States. There's a section you mark as head of household. I need that respect but no. They don't. Before I write further I most say, not all white women or black women act this way, I have friends that are married to very nice women. Married is marathon not a 100 meter dash. Ladies it takes two to tango. Also there are some bad nigerian men out there that want some of this women for what they can get am not defending that but two reasons if the government fix the immigration issue marriage will not be an option for a path to citizenship. Ladies, when I met you at Walmart I want to love that lady I first saw, don't change after 6 month, 6 year that way I could love till death do us part.
Nairaland General › Why Is Nigerian Image Painted Negative On Media by bameyi(op): 5:34pm On Nov 14, 2014
Nigeria is a great country and am proud to be one. Even though I reside in USA now. The media paint the country so bad. See what we've done in Africa and during the Haiti earthquake nigerian was the first African country to send aid. US library of Congress came up with a report and says nigerian are the most educated immigrants. Why is it that western media only report the negative side of Nigeria.

Before you start posting let me put this out there, there are negative, inhumane things, uncivilized things we Nigerians do. That been said just like they reports negative issues they need to be fair and report the positive aspects of Nigerians also.

Folks my post is not focusing on nigerian as a country but nigerian as individuals.

Saro Wiwa was learned as learned can be; but he was also unwise, untactical and did not know when to stop. Compare his life and lot to those of other Niger Delta activists like Adaka Boro and Tompolo. If he was wise, he lacked the quantum of foolishness that should have balanced and directed his wisdom. Only a fool will aspire to catch a lion with bare hands. Only a fool will expect those benefitting from an injustice to fight against it. Only a fool will....... May his gentle simpleton spirit rest in perfect Peace, Amen!

Transgender and Transsexual are individuals who do not identify with the sex they are born into. "Transgender" individuals feel a lack of fit between their own internal gender and the gender roles made by their society. Some transgender people's sense of difference is so strong that they identify as "transsexual," someone who believes their assigned sex at birth is wrong and their correct sex is one that aligns with their internal feelings. Transsexual alot of things identify them
