TenQ: This is what they have projected as narrative to why they have been failing.
Nigeria needs 10GW, we generate less than 4GW.
Tell me, 1. Do we have the energy source to achieve this? 2. Is Gas-turbine technology Rocket Science?
Why do you think our politicians left the obvious problem of generation to face the problem of distribution? You are missing my point, I am not talking about willigness now, I am only pointing to the complexity. This is more reason our politicians have to wake up, you need to develop an adjacent industry that would build the long-term power infrastructure, you need qualified engineers in thousands....its not wishful thinking, it's a lot of work.... |

TenQ: Give me 18 months and I will deliver at least 10GW electrical power to Nigerians.
The problem is when politicians and businesses men are put in charge of national assets Sorry to burst your bubble, unfortunately power infrastructure is not plucking mangoes on the tree, it involves complex coordination, breaking supply chain and man power hurdles, not to even talk of initial planning that goes into the whole process, it will be magical if you build 10GW in 5 years. |

Wealthoptulent: Sense they there Sir, Many people are working a$$ out and killing their health to make money to buy properties in Nigeria, where u spend jus 1 month or max 2 all year round and u stressing ursef here rest of MONTH to make money and Send to where you don't LEAVE, a QUICK QUESTION; are your Children u raising here interested in going back to 9ja to inherit when you are GONE? NO! They become like BADNOCH who has nothing to do with that country, wasn't born there or Raised there!
One can INVEST here, yes you can't pass to your wards to inherit tho (Direct inheritance is not automatic unlike Nigeria, becos they have to pay Inheritance Tax like £50k - £100k) but there are better ways to leave PROPERTIES to your wards, which is "TRUST" ( it's a wisdom profitable way, by opening a company and purchase properties , it saves u from partner who also want to part away with your properties and any of your lineage will be in charge of these properties with out the pay of INHERITANCETAX ).
PROPERTIES accumulation in NIGERIA os not a WISE MOVE, it's not an INVESTMENT at all (can u change the money to abroad denom and spend monthly where u stay ? no
WHAT'S THE POINT? You sound very reasonable but you forgot 1 very critical thing, abroad is not 1 country....lol |

I have access to the GCMS notes and the application document submitted which I helped him to order. I'm really surprised an agent that got paid would do such kind of shoddy job.
I've thought through the possibilities of correcting this error. The agent is unreachable and we are looking at chances of correcting the errors if any without ban due to misrepresentation. |
Travel › Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by bamsz: 9:29pm On Nov 04, 2023 |
Hello everyone,
I will like to seek an advice on behalf of my friend who applied for Canada visit visa through a quack agent.
The agent did a very bad job and I'm wondering if these errors which are obviously misrepresentations can be rectified in anyway, we found out all the errors through GCMS notes after the agent stopped picking his calls and we don't know the status of the application.
I'll summarise the errors below:
1. Marital status: Agent claimed he is single meanwhile my friend is married with 2 children.
2. Travel history: he lived in another country for 3 years with legal resident permit but agent claimed he never travelled before.
3. Education history: he claimed my friend never went to school, meanwhile he has a bachelor's degree.
4. Work history: agent wrote self employed with a non existent business name.
I can't even talk about the proof of funds and other mistakes we found in the application documents. We were able to access the documents submitted with the application, that's how we found all these errors.
We also found out the visa application was already denied through the note, with VO citing inconsistencies in application information and lack of economic ties to home country.
Kindly advice what can be done in this situation so that he doesn't get banned in his next application, he is planning to reapply again.
This is a lesson to everyone in the process, Please be careful of agents that you employ in your visa applications, verify all details submitted on your behalf and be sure the information can be backed up with evidence anytime there is a request for such. |

justt: Hello, we are planning to contact the Embassy for appointment for my wife to submit her visa application. Please is it possible I use my visa in place of Residence Permit? I'm yet to get my Residence Permit, in fact, I have not been given an appointment. In order to save time, I was thinking we could use my visa since it is also a form of residence permit although for temporary period.
Is this possible?
Thank you. The first step is to book appointment online, it now takes approximately 14months to get a date, you don't need any document to book the appointment, just your wife's passport number, date of birth and email address. You can as well try your luck by sending emails to the embassy, at least book an appointment date first! |

Hi everyone,
We are little bit confused on how to handle this situation, my wife's work visa was rejected last year, now she's coming through family reunion and she got an appointment date already. she wrote her O'level exam twice in different schools and when she went for her interview last year, she only presented the certificate from the second school where she only wrote the second exam and passed her papers leaving out the main secondary school she attended. This time around, is it advisable to go with the just the second one she presented at the embassy the last time bearing in mind they could ask for verification and contact the second school where she only wrote exam without attending or present both.
PS: The reason for her visa rejection was not related to her secondary school. |

Congratulations, does the appointment letter require your spouse to visit ABH in person? dipotol: Visum alert, timeline below
Booked- Feb 8, 2022 Appointment - Feb 17, 2023 Interview - March 14, 2023 ABH sent appointment letter - April 21 ABH appointment- May 2 AM - May 4 Visum delivered today May 12
PS - spouse is a blue card holder and wasn’t required to do verification. Also, reaching out to the embassy helps a lot, via email, not phone cos the woman that picks the call can discourage you. For each of the milestones above, reached out to the embassy a day or two before |

FreeStuffsNG: Their chicken will come home to roost someday They should ask the doctor son of late Dr. Mailafia , former CBN deputy governor. When his late dad collapsed and he was on frantic calls attempting to give instructions of intervention to revive his dying dad, he was ignored. If you are trained in Nigeria and you head overseas, Guys who stay back to serve and build Nigeria do not take you serious.
They ,especially those trained with tax payers money but immediately eloped overseas, should enjoy it while it lasts or just do themselves a favour, take your parents along for the time being
For those of you from non-dysfunctional family background, my advice to you is; do not join them on a voyage that usually end in regret. Some of them are moving to stay far away as possible from their dysfunctional family background and most times most of them never return or return until hardship, hunger and lack of care as a result of abandonment of their parents eventually terminate the lives of their poor parents.
There is a reason why despite all the 'green pastures' they see and claim to recieve overseas, no single one has made it to the Forbes list.
You can not cheat the tax payers that their resources were used to train you and wishfully think you can build a sustainable wealth from cheating them, it is a lie. You will lose las las and one more thing; Your children will abandon you too and reality will hit you hard.
The Cuban healthcare professionals are one of the least paid in the world yet they are very patriotic and they stay back in their country for the love of their parents and their fatherland.
Here is why I blame FG, you use tax payers money to train them and allow them transfer your resources they held in trust to the service of another country and for years now being watching these exports return home with regrets, spent and even behind their class mates who stayed back to avoid the "curse of the taxpayers" .
Whoever wants to take the next flight overseas can go tomorrow, but for as long as you were trained with tax payers money and you did not return the value of the sweat of the taxpayers invested in you, you will lose las las.
In fact, your own case will be worse than that of some folks I know. You can not cheat people and get away. Karma will definitely catch up with you Why has Karma refused to catch up with your politicians embezzling tax payer's money? Abi Karma is selective in judgement ni? Nonsense! |

Rickbronz: If you graduate from a university and you come out looking for someone to employ you, then you are one of the problems of this country. With the knowledge and enlightenment you've gained from school, you should be the one employing and empowering people. There are several businesses one can start building now which requires little capital but with a potential for massive returns in the long run. Warped mentality, imagine if everyone thinks like this, who build those great products you use daily, the phone u use, the car u ride, the road you ply everyday... U think everyone can be a business owner at the same time, government ineptitude has pushed u to think its a bad idea to be part of an organization. Even if you have plans to start ur own business, you need to subject yourself to learning. Don't go around thinking people looking for job are lazy, that's a sick ideology. Think about it, you start a biz and no one is ready to work for you cuz everyone is trying to have their own business, that's chaos already! |

ThatCEO: I believe FSW will fully resume by March.
If they have 2 more CEC, ITA will drop to between 410 to 420.
People who have this kind of CSR score are those that graduated with one or 2 year diploma in Canada (not even Bsc); who have zero years work experience; and who are at 33 to 35 years.
My strong prediction is IRCC's hand will be forced to take much higher quality candidate (Msc + 3 years experience + below 31 yrs age) via FSW.
This CEC can't last. I am sure it's giving them some headache already as they need to process like 400k candidates this year. Should they take in "low ball" candidates via CEC or should they open up FSW since unlike last year, the entire world is not on lockdown n lots of Visa offices can still process PR.
Year 2020 lockdown already exhausted their pool of quality CEC candidates.
Attached picture is where ITA would drop if they continue with 2, max of 3 CEC draws. your analysis is almost spot on.....27k people just like that, I'm sure they've exhausted the pool, FSW should be next. |
