Men, his mother gets to give him the first name, only fair since he gets my surname. So we have named him Marcus.

Jackie boy,
make una no vex, I've been away because my wife just had a baby (boy of course).

Razorr? She's my person anyday, except the occassions when I'm totally p@wning your ass, and then she comes in and claims you're winning. Those few times, I feel like strangling her (and she knows it!!!)
And you're right, I was actually hoping for a chelsea win last weekend, just like you wanted Derby to beat us, so we were both disappointed.

Razorr pumping! How now? I'm currently typing with one hand - baby dey the other, so I can't do any quality posting. How's life?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Banderas(m): 9:53pm On Sep 27, 2007
Dearest Razorr, don't you know that my phase of trying to impress you, if it ever existed is long past babes?
I know where you live - In Jackie's pocket.

Jackal, Ferguson's "yoof" team of 95/96 was his first team, and can be compared to Fab, RVp and the likes, not to our reserves. There is a difference.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Banderas(m): 7:14pm On Sep 23, 2007
Actually, I don't think Man U played a good game. But I don't think Chelski played a good game either.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Banderas(m): 7:11pm On Sep 23, 2007
Rikkyjen, did you see the gunners at play yesterday? The team had a number of people from the bench. And we still have a reserve team chilling.

You do realise that this current team that is topping the premiership were mostly playing in the carling cup two years ago, don't you? Can manure say the same? Can they?

And you talk about 29 year olds? Man U? Hahahaha.

Jackal, Cambell did NOT touch Rooney, that one was a pure dive. Cambell withdrew his leg. Unless of course we're talking about a different match. By the way, I'm no longer condemning the penalty, I'm now referring to the impressive dive.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 6:57pm On Sep 23, 2007
I don't see that Chelsea fans have anything to complain about. You didn't stand a chance. And you didn't deserve to win. You deserved to have ended the game with 9 players.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Banderas(m): 6:53pm On Sep 23, 2007
Here's what I feel: United won the match, undoubtably (Cheers I-man). Chelsea should have had two red cards - Joe Cole should have been sent off. So Chelsea was lucky in that department.

However, I don't see how the contact on Saha merited that incredible movement. Naah. I think it may still have been a penalty, but that jump had little to do with the penalty.

Jackie, sometimes you need to be reasonable, and argue based on facts. Pacifier? My guy, you let yourself down, and your method of posting lets you down. Arsenal penalties; mention facts - which one was simulation?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Banderas(m): 5:52pm On Sep 23, 2007
Naah. Your guy dived. Check am. Nobody touched him, how come he launched himself into the air like that?

Somze, when I said they won't find clubs, I wasn't talking about the quality of the players - I have no doubts about that. I was referring to the inflated value of their contracts, which for the most part was waay beyond what they are worth. I don't see too many clubs that are able to buy out a player who has a contract with Chelsea, unless Chelsea agree to sell.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Banderas(m): 10:35am On Sep 21, 2007
Initial gragra applies to players (fat Frank), not to teams. Check out how many Arsenal players are currently in the highest scorer tables,

How will they go? Who will buy them? Those guys have been priced out of the market.

SWP will come (back?) to the grove.

JT is not going anywhere (I think it was JT who actually got him fired, )

Okay, so a test manager is someone who manages testers. I just have never heard that term - test manager before. I know lots of testers (they are people who always try to tell me I write buggy code grin)

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 4:57pm On Sep 20, 2007
Nah, Mourinho can't be richer than SAF, at least not from money he made as a manager at chelsea.

Nobody is belittling Mour, he accomplished a lot at Chelsea, but you have to realise that player for player, he also had the best team IN THE WORLD. No other coach ever (not even the great Manchester United coaches) has ever had so many wonderful (and expensive) players all in their prime at the same time.

I insist that while Mour was a great coach, he also wasn't playing on a level field with the other top 4 coaches - 200 (or is it 300) million made him virtually untouchable. This makes Fergie winning the premiership last season a MAJOR feat. This also makes any team that is able to snatch a draw against chelsea fantastic.

The problem about having a team like chelsea is that it puts you in the limelight. Your successes are expected, and your failures are news items. Even a draw against Chelsea in the premiership is regarded as a point gained, and not two points lost (by the opponents).

And regarding the horses, you need to see how much money is made from betting off horses. A racing horse (not any ordinary horse now, a thoroughbred arabian race winner) is a major investment. I doubt that one is worth 5million pounds though.

Just by the way, in 2004, Mour was only the third highest paid Manager in England, with £2M, SAF earned 3, Wenger earned 2.5. I don't know when Mour got his new contract, but I sincerely don't see how he can have earned more than SAF within this short time. And by the way, his salary is actually £4M, with bonuses and expenses making a possible 1M. These bonuses will depend on winning competitions, so it is safe to say he never did earn the total 5M (Champion's league), and would have made substantially less last year. Also the 10M payoff will depend on how soon he gets another job - i.e. if he gets another job soon, then he won't get paid the entire amount.

Akola, this argument is between Jose and SAF, how gunners take enter the matter?

And for your information, there is no first team gunner earning 12K per week. Unless he's too young to sign a contract.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Banderas(m): 12:19pm On Sep 20, 2007
TBoy, I think his reaction after the goal helped. He didn't over-rejoice, and he sort of bowed apologetically. I was impressed.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 12:14pm On Sep 20, 2007
Romeo, and the rest of the chelsea fans,
JM was well known before he came to Chelsea, there's no doubt about that. However, he only became a star in chelsea. Here's the fact: The premiership is the most televised and most watched league in the world. The premiership has at least 100 times the number of people watching the portuguese league, if not more. The Chelsea team is also the highest profile football team in the world at the moment, I can still remember the pictures from the party that was held in the US, and lots of media personalities attended. If you think Mour will be able to go to such parties anywhere else, you're sadly mistaken.

And there's also the money.

MC - You started this whole thing. I was having a conversation with someone, you butted in and told me to drop it. I have no issues with you, you're the one who's in my business.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 11:12am On Sep 20, 2007
MC, why should I drop it? I made a post, he has a right to disagree, but instead he said I was talking nonsense. I'm not dropping anything my guy, your mate needs to learn how to relate to people.

Is he the only chelsea supporter on the forum? You should instead tell your mate (who's not picking your calls at the moment) to drop it.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 11:03am On Sep 20, 2007
@Medube
Let's see. If Mour leaves Chelsea what happens? New coach, two years later maybe another trophy.

If RA leaves chelsea what happens? Relegation. Instant financial disruption. Bankruptcy.

How does ANYONE say JM is bigger than RA? Without RA JM wouldn't win a penny with Chelsea. Without JM, RA would still have won silverware by now.

And JM may not be the most sought after manager in Europe, very few teams can afford to pay his salary. But he will definitely find work. I think. even if he doesn't, he has £10m padding his pockets.

Wormed: making a "shoal of your football knowledge"? What ever does that phrase mean?
I didn't post bullocks like you? Bullock? A bullock is a cow my friend. So as you can see you just posted "bullocks" (your word, not mine)
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 10:46am On Sep 20, 2007
Wormed, what have YOU said? Nothing! So why then didn't you follow your own advice and "keep it shut" (Your words, not mine)?

Somze I agree about the spat with RA leading to this, but I insist that this spat falls under the periods of high pressure that I was talking about. Even SAF has had spats with the Man U board in the past, and he weathered them.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Banderas(m): 9:22am On Sep 20, 2007
Tope, I totally agree.

And I think by now Eddie (Eduardo) has been justified as a far better striker than Baptista and Aladire.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Banderas(m): 9:18am On Sep 20, 2007
Hey Kunmi, I was simply joining you in laughing at TKB's post, regarding Razorr resigning (or being sacked) with Mour
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 9:14am On Sep 20, 2007
To be honest, I didn't see it coming, not so soon. I expected a gradual disintegration of Chelski's season, culminating in Jose's sack. This is rather sudden.

The fact is that I always felt that Mour hadn't yet been through a period of high pressure, he had not yet faced a dodgy season, the way Arsene and SAF have. I didn't think he could guide his team through a period of self doubt. He is a great winner, but a terrible loser.

Alas, Jose is no MOUR the manager of Chelski.
