Ritchboi, be realistic. Chelski should come last.

It's funny that Moaner has been claiming that the fourth placed team doesn't deserve UCL football. I'll laugh my head off when Chelski comes 3rd this season, and campaign for the UEFA cup next season

Ah, Razorr, you're back here playing devil's advocate?

I think it's time to go and poo in the chelski thread. That normally keeps you occupied,

Don't change the subject, please find the comments you attributed to me.We already know you are shamelessly ignorant, are you trying to tell us you are grammatically challenged?
We all know you can't speak good english. Now we begin to doubt your ability to read.

Jackie: A team that produced Roy Keane and Cantona (my memories of him are selected) can't complain about Arsenal being violent, no way. Ronaldo's headbutt also says a lot.

SAF does his own brutality in the changing room. Seriously, ask David Beckham.

Regarding where I live, My postcode starts with TW. Is that in the south east of London? You tell me.

Elites: bad english
Grammars: Bad english

When I was talking about violence, I meant football based violence. Man U has over time been the kings of this, while Arsenal was known as the library - no violence.

No, that doesn't apply to the blues. Chelski can only win when other teams aren't playing well!

Are my words too daunting for you? That says a lot about you rather than me
You're in no better condition. And I'm not going to waste my time looking for a post that could very well have been altered. You said it: You said that Man U was in better condition that Arse, and I asked you how you could claim that a debt of less than 50% of our value was better condition that one that was about 60% of yours.

Better condition than we are? Naah. Not now. Not today. Check the property prices in the capital, and compare them to the ones in manchester.

Men, if they relegate Man U, Chelski and pool, hahahaha.
Jackal, I tell you, I find that table extremely amusing, I'm rolling on the floor here dammit!

Charlie: E get as e be. I think Arsenal can be higher that Man U - We've done that many times before, so it's no big deal. I however will balk at predicting the result of 28 games: Anything can happen men.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Banderas(m): 12:59pm On Sep 17, 2007
Oga, according to that logic, Naija journalist with their big grammer are better educated than their UK and US counterparts in english.

Regarding the quality of the fans, let me test your football knowledge. Over the years, which of Arsenal and Man U have had more violent fans? If it was Arsenal, why don't our fans get beat up in rome?

Listen, and hear me well. There are two football teams in London that may have more violent "firms" than Man U, that will be West Ham and Millwall. Millwall doesn't play in the premiership, so their threat is gone. West Ham fans will level Man U anyday.
My point is that your club has a strong history of violent football, mine doesn't. So your referring to Arsenal supporters as touts, etc would mean that you're calling yourselves worse than touts.

Regarding the Nairaland people, you sef judge am. You and your main man can't hold a conversation with most people without starting some kind of yabbis. You say Pillock (Thank you ojare Razorr) and he says Excoriate? Come on!

Daddy: I can just see it I-man, come here
baby I-man: Yes Daddy Saa!
Daddy: Did you steal fish from the pot again?
baby I-man: Emm, emm, I was hungry
Daddy: I will excoriate you today.

Wait I-man, are you claiming that you never said that you were still in better condition than us? Let's have a straight yes or no now.

Excoriate? My guy, you don't need to use a dictionary in order to speak. Jackie: Is it a Man U habit of using words that aren't normally used in normal everyday conversation?

so who do u tip to win it this time?
This "Tip"ing is a difficult one. I think there are 4 teams who realistically can win. I believe that if Man u has a good season and Arsenal have a good season, Chelsea will come third, regardless of how good their own season is. But that is merely opinion see.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 12:37pm On Sep 17, 2007
Jack, don't mind these chelsea wannabes. The fact is that Chelsea hasn't yet won the premiership during a season when Arsenal and Man U were playing well. Last Season Man U played well, and the rest is history.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 12:36pm On Sep 17, 2007
Actually Jackie, I'm not talking about the African/European comparism now, afterall time and time again, Keane outplayed Viera in the midfield (Thank God for Ray Parlour). That why I mentioned the word "fit". People sometimes do have off days, I agree.
But I insist that if Essien plays well, and Hargreaves plays well, Essien will win. I'm talking now about power, pace and sheer atheleticsm.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 12:20pm On Sep 17, 2007
Jackal, from the unbiased bottom of my heart, a fit Essien vs a fit Hargreaves, and Hargreaves will lose.

Jackal, it's true now. You did make me laugh once - when you were talking about SAF and Ronaldo hawking man U t-shirts in Tejuosho. But this nonsense about Domestic chores now, that's just tired.
On a more serious note though, I sincerely hope y'all are going to thwack chelski at the bridge. Maybe Moaner will break another telly,

Const, can you seriously not see the vast schism between your "synopsis", and the one you pasted, (which to be honest I don't even regard as an excellent one)? If you don't, then you really need to go back to the drawing board.

And be aware, there are loads of "firms" on the internet who will charge you to read through your scripts. Agents as you call them. Here's the thing: Agents DON'T publish. So havong an agent does not make you any better that anyone else.

Hey Apache. So, knights in shining armour, what's wrong with that? It's called a theme. Be not deceived, the fact that you write about Nigeria doesn't ensure success. What are you saying, seriously now? Are you saying I need to write about Africa to hit paydirt? With all due respect, this isn't true. Stephen King didn't write about africa.

I write about what I know about, what I've experienced and what I've seen. If that is african, then all well and good. If not, then too bad. I have no family stories about the civil war and the resultant experiences, if I had tried to write the "yellow sun" book, I would have floundered big time.

By the way, Stephen King hasn't won any of these prizes you talk about, yet I bet you that Achebe was never given 35M. I never told you I wanted to win prizes,

Okay, this is how it works.

Rikkyjen is a Arrow. I don't hold conversation with twats.

I-man - Remember when I told you that every club in the premiership has increased revenue? And you went on saying that Arsenal's £260 million loan is more difficult for us to pay off than Manchester United's £600 million?

Jackie - I never get your time yet, it's a busy day for me. Maybe later on. But seriously, you NEED to stop playing words like a second rate journalist who writes for daily champion, or some other newspaper in Ajegunle. I mean seriously, every now and then you make a decent post, but those are a minority. Most of the time, your posts lack class. pillock.
You are way too ignorant to be debated with.At that point in the season,Utd were leading and Arsenal only established themselves at the top of the table after about 18 games, once the Rio 8 month suspension had kicked in.

Before then,Arsenal had acquired a reputation as draw specialists.  If you can't remember something, don't keep blustering ignorantly.

,  . . .and yes,Everton's 3-1 win over Spurs was more comfortable than Arsenal's.Guess you didn't watch the game but that doesn't stop you blithering
Blithering? Naah, I leave that to you, with your weird Logic.

Who's on top of the leage? Arsenal.
I rest.

Jackal - There's no proof of anything. ANd you're ignorant if you think otherwise. Anything can happen tomorrow. We know United has potential, but potential is just that. Whether or not this potential will be utilised is a different story. Ask west ham.

And you need to learn the difference between taking the mick (which is really lovely when other teams are losing, and which YOU jackal are a master of) and people stating facts. The facts are what we currently see on the table - Arsenal on top with a game in hand. Predictions (Man U will go on a 10 game winning streak) is just, to borrow a word from I-man, bluster. There's no proof, no assurance that it's going to happen.

Man U's best bet is to try and fight hard during their UEFA cup campaign next season,

Why should I not address as ignorant, someone who insisted that Cantona is a midfielder and that Utd might finish 15th this season?
Another reason you are ignorant  grin

If you watched that game, you will know that Everton were 3-1 up by half time. The game was one sided and it was over by half time.Spurs never looked like getting a point
The gospel according to the wise I-man: The team that scores three goals by half time has an easier ride. Obviously the wise I-man has watched all football, and teams never come back second half. Wait a minute, what was the scores at half time in our game today? 1-0. What was the final scores? 1-3. So much for I-man's wisdom, or whould we say the lack thereof?

And regardin g Cantona, when did he retire again? 1997. Where was I back then? Uni.

In other words, anyone who didn't watch Man U play football in the cantona years is ignorant. More I-man logic.

I-man - we won the league last time we were leading the league at this stage, but you don't seem to know that. Remember the unbeaten run?
And this is not about who will win the league, this is about who's currently heading the leage.

@Jackal - Not true. Everyone is stuttering, and everyone can get a 10 game winning streak. There's absolutely no proof that you guys can play better than you're playing, neither is there any proof that we can play any worse. The only evidence we have now are the current facts. If things change tomorrow, then things change, but for today, We're winning. And we're heading the table after 5 games, with one game in hand. Chikena.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Banderas(m): 4:37pm On Sep 15, 2007
@I-man
There you go!!! One minute we're having a nice civilised discussion, the next you tell me I'm ignorant.

I'm stating facts here. Deny them if you can. Manchester United at home struggled to beat Tottenham. Arsenal drubbed them.

Manchester United has scored six goals this season. Arsenal has scored 13.
These are facts, I don't need to call anyone "ignorant" in order to show them. Make your own conclusions, or don't as it may suit you

and by the way, how is everton's 3-1 more comfortable than ours? This must be some new Manchester United-ish mathematics.

@Debosky, Early pacesetters have also been known to win the premiership. You should know that as a Man U fan.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Banderas(m): 4:14pm On Sep 15, 2007
Did you see Adebayor's volley? Pure class!

What are these Manchester United fans saying? We just beat Tottenham away 3-1. We didn't need to squeeze a 1-0 goal. Whether Tottenham is better than Everton is anybody's guess, but I can say this - Manchester United didn't find it easy beating Tottenham.

I'm in seventh heaven!

Manchester United fans, enjoy your win, you deserve the break. We're enjoying ours. We're also enjoying topping the premiership!

Check out the goals here

I strongly advise lawyers not to consider moving to the UK. Your years of study and experience will amount to nothing here, as they simply have little regard for anyone with foreign qualifications.

Also be careful with HSMP - I know a few people who got in with HSMPs, and have been unable to meet the minimum expectations. The UK has become rather harsh on immigration.
