Awo hall gave me the best moments of my life in that school.
Remembered the day i passed under block 1 and one fool poured water on me. I looked up and shouted,'tani oloriburuku to da omi le mi lori?'(who is the fool that poured water on me?). Instead of the silly thing to apologise he replied, 'tani were ti ko je ki omi mi dele yen?'(who is the mad man that didnt let my water reach the ground?). I was dumbfounded.
Also i remembered how girls are always filled with trepidation at entering Awo hall cos of the hecklin they'll receive. I remembered the day 5attractive ladies with big breasts were passin thru the hall on their way to Sports hall. The whole of Awo came out shouting 'o mama cowbell! Cowbell! Cowbell!!!'
So much memories men!!

You dont need to be harsh to her. First practical step is to move back to a campus accomodation. In that way she wouldn't be able to camp in ur room and distract you. Next is to spend more time in the library where the possibility for distraction is lower.

With OAU Ife turning 50 today,i'm pls inviting all the alumni of that great school who are on Nairaland to come in and share those moments that evokes nostalgia whenever they remember them.
Motion ground, Old Buka, New Buka, Sport complex, Awo block one, Moremi, Staff quarters etc

Guy you make sense. So they should stay in Naija earnin chicken change(which may not even be paid on time/forever) while less talented ones earn forex overseas. The reality is that scouts rarely come to Naija anymore. The insecurity and rapid fall in Naija's football fortune ensured that. If a player doesnt go abroad for trial he'll get old waitin for scouts and by then he will be unattractive to european clubs. And remember it's u same guys that'll be accusing them of falsifying their age

Some 9years back as a university student I actually met one of dem pretty sisters i thot was giving me an 'eye' so when she invited me to church, naturally i didnt hesitate as my 'market' was seriously booming with members of the opposite sex. She led me to Christ same day and while my focus was still on the pretty sister i thot was tripping for me, i started attending services and in a couple of weeks i was carrying heavy 8seater wooden desks till i almost passed out and sweeping 1000 capacity halls (even though i hardly swept at home cos i was asthmatic) to ensure service held without a hitch. Funny story indeed. Reminds me of how soldiers made my friend walk home with only his boxers on. He was wearing a knee length camouflage trousers and wanted to buy something within the neighbourhood.
