Security cameras caught a large section of the Kennedy Center’s Grand Foyer ceiling slamming onto the floor during a storm on September 4. It missed a security guard by minutes. Had a performance been underway, people could have been killed.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick posted the footage and did not mince words. Failing roofing, collapsing concrete supports, and rotting steel have made the building unsafe. The entire complex is in the same condition. It must be closed and rebuilt.

The Kennedy Center has long run at a loss of $80 million to $100 million a year. Without a serious fundraising effort, it faces bankruptcy. Lutnick said only President Trump, as board chairman, can deliver the renovation on time and on budget while raising the money to keep the lights on.

Years of deferred maintenance produced this result. The video is a warning, not a surprise. The building should be shut down now and put in the hands of the one person who has shown he can actually get the job done.

Michael stated that he did not lie on his juror questionnaire. He checked the box regarding his prior arrest and provided a written description of the incident as required.

According to Ray, prosecutors questioned him about that description during voir dire, after which he was still selected to serve.

Ray indicated that Michael’s ex-wife most likely did not testify in the related domestic-violence/custody matter due to possible citizenship issues, though this remains unconfirmed.

Michael told Ray that deliberations began with two jurors voting guilty, two unsure, and eight voting not guilty.

He described the eight not-guilty jurors as “activists.” He also noted that the juror who later gave an audio-only interview had initially voted guilty on the first day before changing her vote.
Michael said he voted guilty based on the evidence presented in court.

He identified himself as a conservative and a Catholic. He also addressed the exercise-band demonstration involving water bottles, explaining that he was attempting to show fellow jurors what the bands would have looked like wrapped around “little necks.”

Michael expressed that he feels attacked and reported finding a man snooping around outside his home earlier that day.

If there's a retrial the jury knows what verdict is acceptable.
If she's is found not guilty she will be renanded in a mental asylum until a doctor proves she is Okay to resume normal life. Her reason for killing was that a voice inside her head ordered her.
