Father, Quota System is a totally crazy and an entirely nonsensical scam from the pit of Hell that is killing Nigeria and Nigerians till tomorrow. If you have any form of consideration for it, it simply means you are now conforming which I would now attribute to old age after your many years of fighting for change for the Nigeria System which never came to be as you had thought and planned , thus the reason you are now conforming to this failure of a system.

I am a full adult now rounding old age but still younger than you. I must say, you have done your part well sir, but you dont need to alter the narrative because of your need to make Nigeria Work at this time or any other time as the case may be. You have stood ground with your compatriots over the years when I was a young boy watching and intriguing leadership from the likes of You, Beko, Gani, Falana and many other freedom fighters under the able leadership of Big Sam, our then SUG president in OAU. We fought tyranny of Abacha at the gates. In our time, it was an abomination for Police to enter a Universe-City.

I paid my humble dues in entrenching a new Nigeria at the risk of death both before and during the June 12 struggle just like yourself, whether it worked or not, but cause of these perilous times, I hold you in total esteem and regard.

Now to the crust, Rev fr, how has Quota helped me, you or even Nigeria as a whole..

Mediocre, Cleptos and Nepotics have been put in governance in the name of Quota system or Geo-political breakdown. It has simply put the stupid and idiots in government in Nigeria today .

Today, We have highly cerebral First class working under idiotic Last class because of the useless Quota system in Nigeria.

The worst, stupid and no ideas are ruling the country while those who can actually turn the country around have taken flight. I am a vivid victim of this problem and to say that after over 40 years, the government still dont know the detriment and failure of the Quota system simply tells that there is a Concerted effort to lord the mediocre beneficiaries of the Quota system over the cerebral and ready to change the narratives of the people of Nigeria.

Sad to say, but we need a total over haul and systematic change where the very best hold sway. Nigeria simply will not move forward with a Quota system that has been in practice for over 50 years with nothing to show.. but nonentity, mediocrity and total backwardness.

If you dont have what it takes to move Nigeria forward.. please stay put in your house, dont bother to contest for election .. Just watch from the side lines, STAY AWAY!. We already have too many useless and good for nothing people moving us to no where. Its time to move and we need the best minds to do this irrespective of where they come from or what gender they are ..not QUOTA SYSTEM.

The Badagry port is not a Federal government initiative but those of the private sector. It is a public-private sector driven project involving the federal government 20%, Lagos state government 20% and the Private investors with 60% stakes. The private investors have done their business case and chosen Badagry as best to locate this particular Port. Other areas are also open for development in the south but the investors will defintely consider their viability first.

Impact Analysis that Hadiza is giving as excuse to cancel the Badagry project through using the Federal Executive Council should actually be under the purview of the state where the project is located (irrespective of the Acts and Clauses establishing ports etal).

For developmental sake, allowances/legislation should be given for private development of airports/strips and seaports without government overbearing control as is this current situation. It is Lagosians that are affected by the impact of Apapa Wharf & Tincan ports, so the responsibility of site-ing/ impact analysis should be a Lagos concern.

The Lagos Ibadan express way is still under construction after so many years simply because Abuja is overseeing beyond where her eyes can carry her. This is the same bureaucratic bottleneck they are trying to introduce to the Badagry port project. It will never get completed this way.

Lagos state should fight this out as it is a developmental project to open up the already over stretched population housing a Country (Lagos is Nigeria) and with very low employment rates. It is everyday that people keep flocking into the state, where will the jobs come from if developments like this are cancelled or put on hold because of politics.

The federal government should encourage, support and give untainted backing to the realization of the Badagry Seaport project. She should ensure project delivery dates, specifications and all that were provided for in the project charter are met to make us all as Nigerians who are part of the stakeholders happy.

I am very disappointed with the explanation given by the CBN governor. I remember vividly that the president said no more sponsoring of pilgrims from state funds and it was well applauded.

1. Nigeria is a secular state and should have very little or no involvement with managing religion. Business of government is governance of the people.

2. If foreign schools fees can be removed from official rate by CBN, I dont see why pilgrimage cannot not also be removed.

3. Spending of the available FOREX should go to the real sector of the economy; Areas like Manufacturing and equipment procurement, Farming & utilities which is the current government policy thrust is where all of these available Forex should go to, not some unproductive goose chase.

4. We are only making money for the foreign airline carriers and the countries using Religion to develop their economy through Tourism. THIS IS CAPITAL FLIGHT.... Our common wealth keep disappearing right before our very own eyes.

4. We should stop wasting money on unnecessary and trivial frivolities please.

There is no starvation in the land. It is laziness that is prevalent in the land and our inability to look inwards.

This news should bring out the ingenuity in us. The opportunity to invest in agriculture.

Most of these farm produce ( tomato, rice, cassava, beans) we complain about not being available or too expensive, can be grown locally.

Nigeria Land is FERTILE and will grow almost anything that is related to our climate even without fertiliser application.

We need to invest in farming to become more self sustaining and even exporters of these foods within the African region and beyond.
