E-monkey, 1. I have enabled the module section to be able to use it. I have already installed some modules like panels, swf, ubercart, wysiwig, Videos, fckeditor, nice menu, image assist, image gallery etc etc. 2. I am currently using FCkeditor 3. Yes I also have image assist installed. My problem is that when on the Wyswig (with fckeditor enabled) section and I want to upload a new image, I dont get the browse link or a drop and drop option. Instead what i see is a web-link option to the image i require whereas the image i want to upload is on my desktop. Thanks for following up on this. |
E-monkey thanks for your reply. On the drupal module section you see different editors. First you have to install wysiwig then install an editor ( quite a number are available) for them to work together. Permission is not the issue here. I have installed this editor (ckeditor) but when i try to put photos using the editors I come to problems as there is no browse link to help me pick the photos from my system or a drag an drop option( which I am able to do with many other apps i Use), I dont want to have to first upload pictures to an image folder before being able to use them, which is what the ckeditors and wysiwig are there for. In the case of panel modules; I am using the latest v6 cos i only installed last week directly from their site. Pl see what you can assist with on this. Regards. |
You are referring to building a download or torrent website. A site like source-forge, mininova or filehippo. For that you require a dedicated VPS server or cloud system with good bandwidth speed. I can build you something of this nature with a backend support to help you perform your upload seamlessly. We also provide hosting services to meet your requirements for such a site. Send me a PM and we'll talk. or send a mail to info@kingofcms.net |

Hello there, I am interested in joining the race to do the job for you. Dammy if the job is based on women and infe girls, then I think I am in the best position to do the job for you. Leave Dual, and all those bros that are already in the league of Mark Zuckerberg out of it. You'll love the job and it will only cut a small hole in your pocket. ![]() |
Hello e-monkey, dhtml and my other brothers here. Talking about Drupal, there are some modules in CCK; fckeditor and wsiwig that are a pure combination of issues for. How do i get them to wrk together. also, the panel modules are not activated in my module section. any advice, |
Holla me, We already have a solution in place, I'll show you a demo if we can have an agreement. Regards. NB: It was built on O.S |
Hello there, I will not advice you to waste time trying to undo what has already been done. It is like trying to re-invent the wheel. Way forward is to grow in your chosen career. Take a PMP or Prince certification, do a PGD, apply for masters and prove yourself in your chosen field. That's all. Look behind only to learn form your mistakes but look forward mainly to achieve greater pursuits. Your class of degree don't determine your success, its your person & personality that does that. All the best. |
Hello Flaminhart, The correct answer should be (A) rewiew the reward system. The reason is this, SPI-Schedule performance is above one which means it is fine and the project is on schedule. The CPI-that's the Cost performance index is again also above 1, meaning, they have not overspent their budget, which is a good thing. This eliminates option 'b'. Option D, is just there to deceive you, since the customer has accepted the intial delvierables (means a formal acceptance has been done) according to PMI standards., And ultimately, there is no need to meet the customer to extend the schedule. The problem is with the tema member. He is not happy with his rewards. He complains yet has been a part of the team that delivered the initial 3 deliverables. The project manager should look into the reward systems to ensure he gets motivated enough to deliver your work on time. Thats my Take. I am open to objections to my views! |
Kaita has cost 150million Nigerians sorrow by his singular act of indecency and show of shame. We all know that Football is one of the major binding force of our dear Country. So, even with spending so much money on the coache, the team, NFF, Media, Proudly Nigeria, Re-branding Nigeria project and all that,, only for Kaita to dash our hopes, is really painful and he shouldn't have expected anything less from football loving Nigerians. The blame finger is pointing at him. My take is this. He should be punished. Its not worth killing him but he should get some form of punishment (like 25 strokes of the cane publicly just as he has disgraced us publicly). It will serve as deterrence to others who want to continue to SHAME our country and waste Dora's Efforts. |
Newcreatio, Thank you for reminding us what a profession is , The highest paid profession or professional would be the guy who runs his own business. He may not be so rich when starting out but he's getting there in time. There is nothing as fulfilling and complementing as running your own time, business and deciding for yourself, how much you want to earn. So as a professional practising my profession in my own company, i can decide to want a salary of N5million a month. That simply translates to tuning my work to make sure that my net per month is in excess of 5M, so I can pay my salary and those of my staff and keep the company running. |
Ajanlekoko, Infact this very terrible news. I havent been on Nairaland for a while reason I have not posted or responded to the news until now. It is almost impossible for anyone who is a CAPM or PMP and is living not to know Rita. She has been a strong advocate for the PM community and her books & methods have helped thousands in passing the mind bloggin Certifications. She will surely be missed by Families, friends, well wishers and all other PMP colleagues. I think the PMI Institute is planning to put up something in rememberance of her. I Will let you know when I get an update We had actually been planning to bring her to Nigeria to give some presentations on managing projects successfully, but that is not to be again. She remains a strong woman of reckon internationally even in death. May her gentle soul rest in peace. |

What Oranto has said is indeed well said. We are here bothering our heads with which is more supreme between the HND and the B.Sc whereas in the international scene, Nigerian qualifications are not Seen. To make it worse, even local companies in Nigeria rate international qualifications higher than local certificates when it comes to recruitments. Reason, I agree with Oranto's stand that local qualifications should be discarded and more global qualifications should be sought after to provide one with a global outlook. We are in a global village now, so whatever your qualification, you will and should be competing on a global level. The good thing again is that there are now online versions of various international qualifications from B.SC to Phd's. You can also align with certifications. They are a smart and good way to quick global knowledge acquisition. You can do an Online Masters in Project Management for about 2-3yrs or attend a project management training locally in Nigeria and take the international certification at a prometric centre here. Either way, you are still in Nigeria but with an international qualification. |
Study guides and questions in excess of 1000 are now available for PMP, CISA & CISSP Certification preparation. Live classes and online training options are also available for these 3 courses. Get in touch if you require the Study guides CD or require professional led training. |
It is very difficult to see any young Nigerian who would be interested in staying back in Nigeria. There is hardly anything the person abroad can say to dissuade him. Reason: The future looks bleak for him. He's still at the university and his elder brothers who have graduated over 5yrs are still roaming the streets for good jobs, so whats the assurance he himself will get a job on graduation. I have seen people abandon school in their 400level at the university. I have seen Nigerian graduates, apply for student visa for undergraduate courses abroad to prolong their stay there instead of the normal 2yrs multiple for a masters programme. If the whole world is a danger Zone, then Nigeria is the mother of all Danger zones. If you dont have money, you're likely to die of Hunger and if you have money, you're also likely to die of a Heart attack from an unfriendly environment. There is just almost nothing you can tell a youth to deter him from seeking the golden fleece. Imagine hiding yourself inside an Airplane Tyre just to be able to leave this country. A youth did it and died. It wont stop other from trying it another time. Our entire country system and value need a turnaround now. |
Between Edmonton and Alberta, which is a more conducive area (Housing, school & Jobs) to settle for a newcomer. I hear Oil is being drilled in Alberta creating a lot of oil & gas job opportunities. |
Simply provide a Service or |Product that people actually need. Then of course you have to market your online business or else no one is going to see it and that wont be good as you will not generate any sale. Now to marketing your business online, you will need some online marketing skills to make this work otherwise you push it to an online marketing expert/consultant to manage your online marketing for you. All in all, have a website for your service or product, then let people know that you're available and selling online. Then you need patience and perseverance to see it through. All the best. |

Both certifications are accepted in Nigeria. Due to the fact that Nigeria was a former british colony and they still run their business here in Nigeria, those guys will probabl prefer the PRINCE2 as it is their standards. Also, Americans will prefer the PMP certification to employ you to their company as that is also their own standard. For the Nigerian Government standards, I am yet to make certain. A regulatory body will soon be up to handle the discrepancies. |
