Wow, please my situation is similar, however its concerning the ielts TRF number. i generated it cos i had not received the hard copy. Post ITA, I realised that one number from the trf is wrong (8 instead of 7). Every other information is correct. The exam date and result date as well is b4 the crs draw and invite.

Pls guys what do you think, do i go ahead and apply or do i have to decline invitation. Although i have made the correction now (post ITA).

Thanks as i await your response

When we say don't form TRF number, some people will come and say it's not part of being fraudulent.

Goodluck.

Dear Family,

I got an ITA this last draw, I recently updated spouse WES details which hasn't come out yet well because I wasn't expecting ITA to come down to my 421 yet. the report should come out soon - a weeks time(all document received).

My dilemma is the Report date for spouse WES i filled online is 24th,

*Can I change the WES report date to correct date POST ITA when WES report comes.( no impact on my score)
* Will it matter that the WES report date will now be port ITA date.
* Do you cancel the ITA and wait another round to avoid gbege . or wait a week time when WES report comes and update and move on with the ITA since I still have 90 days to submit.

Did anybody come across an agent based in Abeokuta inviting people to come and apply for EE, promising them that he has many slots in Manitoba PNP? They even went as far as promising people that they will pay the flight, accommodation, visa fees and other associated fees because they are a Canadian Visa Agent. The beneficiary will only pay back when he/she gets to Manitoba. Could this be real house? I intentionally held back their name and a snapshot of their flyer to avoid being banned here in the name of advertisement.

I don't think we can answer that question as our motto here is DIY.

That's a weird one. You didn't have to go that route if you are able to get your work reference letters affirming the NOCs. I just get the feeling that people are being too careful these days and thereby let good opportunities pass them by. This looks like one of such cases.

If you have to do this anyways, use your nysc and some others to help you get 3 years and thus maximum points.

I have to agree with you.

Thank you so much.

I will raise a CSE. I initially uploaded the proof of custody (Court Judgement), her biological father's death certificate, Her biological mother's voter's ID card attached to a notorised consent she signed.

I will get evidence of school fees we have been paying, HMO id cards, family pictures and anything I can think of. This will be attached in the CSE. I was just worried that won't raising a CSE without been asked sound like I am been on the defensive even when they have not queried me.

God help me. I tire.

You're worrying too much and we can understand why.. You have submitted all the appropriate documents. You can raise a CSE like others have said to resubmit all the documents and more. And no, you won't look defensive or desperate. I just think when it comes to children (especially because he or she is not your biological child) they have to make sure they're making the right decision.

We pray and hope for a favourable outcome.

Hi, my contact in unilag said i should request for attestation letter in lieu of certificate but that sounded odd to me because majority of applicants have been using statement of results.
Is it statement of result or letter of attestation ?

For Unilag, WES will accept notification of result. They may not accept statement of result.

Minimum requirements
Skilled work experience
Your work experience must be:

in the same type of job as your primary NOC
within the last 10 years
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships don’t count)
at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2016 National Occupational Classification (NOC)
at least 1 year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous:
full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

She has 2 years 4 months in her primary NOC just with different companies. Am I missing something?

Have you filled your ITA form? Did you see the part where CIC chooses your primary NOC for you? Because me I didn't see that part o.

It seems your ITA was based on your NYSC experience(1year).Hence, it should be your primary NOC and in my opinion you should get d ref letter for it.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.html

Bia na you fill her ITA form? How do you know what she claimed as primary NOC?

Na wa for this your interpretation o. Why is the NYSC her primary NOC? Because it's her first job? Or because she has a full year on the job? Your primary NOC is what you're claiming points for in her case it's the 4121. She can afford to move the NYSC if she's not claiming points for it.

Hmm. My colleague's brother used NOC code 1111 for experience as a finance/audit officer from 1 bank, a supermarket chain coy and a pension company. None of the 3 jobs was up to one full year individually, cos he was an entry level staff who kept looking for the next big thing. He combined all 3 expereriences in his application. He is leaving for Canada in July. We need to spell out what really works in this situation, cos this thing is confusing at times. Does this affect only eligibility? Cos I am beginning to wonder how he did it.

Work experience caveat says: full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours) Does this apply to having different jobs at the same time or continuously at different times?

Thank you. I just saw you had addressed that notion. She's more than qualified but with 2 years 4 months. So it's her CRS score I will be questioning. Hope she didn't round up to 3 years?

GlitteringStar:

Your profile will be ineligible if you use any work experience that is less than one year as your primary NOC. Company A, B or C cannot be your primary NOC. To be qualified for the Federal Skilled Workers Program, you need to have at least one year continuous full-time (at least 30 hours of paid work per week) or equivalent part-time work experience in an occupation that is categorized under NOC A, B or 0.

I'm not sure you're correct on this one. It's the NOC that matters not the duration at a particular company. She has 2 years 4 months in the same NOC ( I'm assumingthe NOC is A,B or 0). She qualifies under FSW.

Hi Everyone,

I just got ITA yesterday and I have started filling my application. Please I need help on the Work/Personal History section.

The Work Experience in my EE profile was as follows:

1. Company A: 10 months (with NOC code 4121)
2. Company B: 11 months (with NOC code 4121)
3. Company C: 7 months (with NOC code 4121)
4. Company D: 1-year NYSC (with NOC code 3131)

I intend to claim points for Companies A, B and C ONLY.

So please my questions are:

1). Since I am not claiming points for Company D (NOC 3131), should I delete Company D from Work History and place it under Personal History? Will deleting Company D affect my application?

2). For Company B, her job title was Health Care Assistant where her actual job responsibilities are under NOC 4121. But in the NOC list, Health Care Assistant is under NOC 3413. Please I need some assistance with this too.

Many thanks.

If you are only claiming the first three (2 years 4 months)and your CRS doesn't drop as you'll be claiming points for 2 years and not 3 years. Then move company D to personal history otherwise you'll need to get reference for it.

Goodluck.

Lol, are you the doctor? how do you know what he could have meant? grin

I think he wants them to disclose it so they don't end up misrepresenting any medical information. Either way during the medical examination the Panel physician will ask for medical history during which they have to disclose it.

I don't think it will be an issue though. Its not communicable like you said and Canada is becoming more lenient regarding health restrictions.

Morning friends.

My wife was diagnosed of post child birth depression. She's on medication. She has since recovered well and has no single trace of any anti-social behaviour whatsoever, however, she's still on prescription drugs. Her doctor advised we include her health history in our submission because she might require to continue her treatment over there. My concern is, can we be denied based on medical inadmissibility because of this?

Hmmm this is dicey . However post partum depression is not a communicable disease and like you said she's already on anti depressants.

What your doctor meant is, when you get to Canada disclose to your GP.

Goodluck.

Nice one. Thanks. However, if I am a visa officer, this write-up would be kinda overwhelming for me to read. I'd rather look through info presented in tables than a lot of sentences muddled up together. Maybe, it is the data analyst in me that's expressing these thoughts though.

But thanks again.

Thank God you were not my visa officer maybe I for still dey wait for PPR now.

@ dane15 That's exactly how we did ours and we were done in a little over 3 months. It's their job to evaluate every piece of evidence we submit, our own is to submit sufficient evidence.

Congratulations to ITA recepients, ielts acers etc. Keep keeping on all.

Good afternoon everyone.

Please Is there anyone who obtained a degree following a diploma from unilag and successfully evaluated his/her BSC/BA degree with WES. I received the status update on my Wes and don't know how to go about it.

Please note that I am not trying to evaluate my diploma. Apparently, the transcript shows from 200L-400L.

Thanks for the response in advance.

Please bear with me if this has been asked or answered before.

Good morning... I have an enquiry on behalf of my friend. We have a cruise party in September, therefore we have to book appointments now as the appointment dates are now in July. My question is that, she is single at the moment but she gets married in July. As at now when we are filling the form she will be ticking single. However, when she's going for the interview she would have been married rendering the information on the Ds160 incorrect. What do we do? Do we fill another DS160 form and not lose the interview date already chosen. Kindly advise.
