I agree with his speech, the great work he did in Lagos will be extended to other parts of Nigeria. After that, economic migrants from barren land will stop overpopulating Lagos.

Imagine 5 candidates write from Kano and their avarage score is 150. Are you saying Kano's cutoff will be 40 or 50 or even lower because the demand is low? No! the average score forms a basis of deciding who goes in. This will be done in line with the demand( number who wrote/needed).

Also if 200 candidates write from Lagos and their average score is 80. Based on your demand theory, their cut of score will be higher than that of Kano in this analogy since a lot people wrote from Lag despite having a lower average. This cannot be so. Their cutoff will consider the average score of the candidates from the state vis a vis the number who wrote.

The cutoff marks are majorly based on average performance per state in line with the number needed from the state to ensure that high performing states are judged against each other.

States that have a high cutoff mark obviously performed better averagely. Lagos had most candidates in this common entrance exam yet has a lower cut-off than some other states despite their very high demand.

N/b: I am not here to argue about the demerits or merits of this system, just to correct the quoted misconception.

California 1976/1977, a white dude who had a higher score than a black dude was denied admission into medical school due to Affirmative Action. The Caucasian fought his case to the Supreme Court, and got admitted to the medical school.

Before Tinbu there were tarred roads in lagos. Calling him the architect of modern lagos for facilities and roads that existed even before he was born forgetting that Lagos was once the seat if the colonial government and capital of nigeria until 1991.

It is what makes people like us laugh. Because we cannot see the government impact on the environment. Lagos is not modern in any sense.

There is no steady power, no pipe borne water into homes, no new state of the art hospitals built by government, no new University, no mass housing estates like Jakande LSDPC, no new stadium or recreation centers, no 4th Mainland bridge....in spite of the big IGR and Federal allocation.

If dem manage build one road...they will start tolling people for it even after they have paid their tax.

Brother forget all the propaganda ojare. Nothing spectacular about Lagos .

The one thing Tinubu is good at doing is converting public owned properties to his own use. He is an expert on that. A stupid thief.
