First off the name Amotekun has nothing to do physical semblance as such.

It literally translates - “one who knows as Ekun”.

Again, you are wrong that Yoruba doesn’t have a transalation for Tiger - because our fathers didn’t have an encounter with them.

In fact Tiger has two Yoruba names. It could be called OGIDAN or EKUN. That’s why they say this provide - “Ogidan o ni se Barber, ki aja de be lo ge irun”.

And “KAKA KI KINIUN SAKAPO EKUN, OLODE A MAA RODE.“ Mind you Lion in Yoruba is Kiniun. And no one will ever compare a Lion with a Leopard. No animal can stand the Lion grit for grit amongst the Cat Family other than the Tiger; hence, the comparison.

Also, when Yorubas jokingly refer to someone as Ekun - it’s to represent that the person is a Strong man.

Thus,

Lion - Kiniun
Tiger - Ogidan and Ekun
Leopard - Amotekun
Cheetah - Owawa.

Even today, the ONLY lawyer bolding facing state oppression is a Yoruba man (Mr. Falana). Where are all the other non-Yoruba legal human right defenders? Please name them because nobody knows who they are? Tell me agian, who is the foucking real coward? Name one non-Yoruba musician who used his music to fight oppression at the level that Fela Anikulapo did? His mother was literally thrown down a story building to her death because of the Kuti's family tireless fight against military oppression. The Kuti family had been fighting oppression while some of you were still using palm leaves to cover your unclothedness in the bush. Yes. Facts! And you are here talking about cowards. Name one Non-Yoruba family that stood up against Abacha or Babangida? In fact lets go far back...name one from the days of Obasanjo military regime.

Here is the truth. The limited human rights that most of you non-Yorubas enjoy in this country was given to you (in blood and sweat) by brave Yoruba men and women. But you don't want to admit that. Because it blatantly violates your "Yoruba are cowards..." propaganda that you cook up after fighting and losing a stupid war. Shame on you ungrateful animals. You should be thanking Yorubas every single day of your fvcking lives instead of making up lies to make you feel good about your worthless existence.
