@ okadaman,

your contribution surely hits the nail on the head, it is yet to be seen if Gej is a radical,
it is very true that the nigerian system is by patronage, and it now cuts across all tribes, but i must add that, a particular group of people from a certain region, have patented rights to this system, it is even used in their traditions, if not religion.

@ beaf, everything no be fight, relax.
Lol! Okada_man is a man with a good heart, but a grossly incomplete picture, that is why I have told him that his arguments are "formulaic" and "tragically flawed."

Here we go again with his normal evasive tactic. Be on point Accursed. This thread is strictly about Osun workers, the minimum wage and Osun state government.
Bro, was something bad put in your milk as a child? How daft can you get?
In case you didn't notice, I started the thread. . . God! and there I was thinking Gbawe had run off with the trophy for unmitigated daftness. shocked

Contribute what do you think the RASCAL, Ogbeni Aregbesola needs to do to pay his suffering workers or shatap. What can we do to make him pack back to Osun from Lagos (where he has been disturbing Fashola) and actually get his state functioning?

What u have in nigeria is not democracy but democrazy. Democracy does not categorically allow leaders to cart away the people,s resources and go scot free like nigerian leaders like gej do. That is absolute madness, moral and mental decadence.
Dude, you are well known for making childish, ganja inspired declarations all over NL. Much better cannot be expected of a man that claims he will p!mp his own wife to foreigners for papers and tell stories to the kids about their real parentage; do you want me to provide the link?
You have zero morals and fall neatly into the group of people I mentioned earlier.

Dolt . Try and keep up instead of exposing to the forum how much of a dullard you are. Always lagging behind mentally.  The specific allegation is that the Labour leaders are working to a PDP script. Hence their reason for deceitfully instigating the workers to keep up this strike . Lest it is not obvious to you, it is Labour leaders who meet and negotiate with the Government. With semi-illiterates like you running around , it may not be too hard for unscrupulous and double dealing Labour leaders to decieve workers who blindly accept what is presented to them.
Sir, is the real crux of the matter not that your lil god, the RASCAL, Aregbesola is as airily vocal as a canary, but with absolute zero to show for his megalomaniacal mouthiness? The mans state is crying for attention while he gallivants the Globe, I'm any meat seller would do better.

It is easy to summarise Aregbesola's "achievements" as being:
[li]waiting for his second dry season in office to begin work[/li]
[li]the first governor to spend only 3 days a month in his own state[/li]
[li]the first Nigerian to "govern" a state by fax, email and text messages[/li]
[li]the first governor to abandon his state and live in Lagos[/li]
[li]poke nose in and supervise the formation of Fashola's cabinet. . . while 9 months into his administration, he still had NONE[/li]
[li]spend more more on air tickets and estacode than what is required to pay workers, only to turn round and claim that. . .[/li]
[li]he was not elected to pay workers. Gaddem![/li]
[li]claiming the routine employment of labourers to cut grass as a major achievement. Unu go wound o! grin[/li]
[li]and the list goes on. etc etc etc etc[/li]

Indeed. There is even deciet in the conduct of the labour leaders that hints they have been paid off to forment problems for Aregbesola. Imagine going to a man's house and he shows you his Mortgage Statement indicating he pays monthly mortgage of N10,000. You then go and decietfully announce to the world that the man is only paying out N2,000 a month on his Mortgage to get him in trouble with his creditors !!!! Wilfully wicked and unreasonable conduct if you ask me.
Is this the argument Osun state govt has for not paying its workers? Gaddem! shocked shocked shocked
Why lie against the workers instead of simply paying them?

His invention of govt by email and text message has failed woefully. Aregbesola is a big failure. Make una helep Aregbesola pack back to Osun from Lagos o!

I find Gbawe's arguments very entertaining, both for their comic value and their total lack of intelligence.
So Osun state workers were employed by PDP? Na wa! How foolish can arguments get? For Aregbesola and his ACN followers, its always someone else's fault. LOLZZZZ!!!

Gbawe, I de hail o!

With your intrusion, Homers position at the top of the scale of foolishness has been cut short.

https://blog.irkeninvader.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/homers_brain.jpg

All "ogbeni" needs to do is pack out of Lagos, go to back to Osun, actually start working as governor and then pay his suffering workers.

Can't he fire them all and replace them? How long can these workers go without pay while on strike or are they still being paid? Aregbe should suspend their pay with immediate effect! If hunger start to bulala them, they'll know who the daddy is.
How? By text message? The useless dude doesn't even live in Osun state.

If Jonathan decides to play cowboy(HE NEVER WILL) then Nigeria can be assured of a destructive conflict. Nothing like that will happen though.

Stop deceiving yourselves people, those who are in charge of Nigeria are not dumb, they may be greedy and wicked towards regular Nigerians but they know how to take care of each others problems hush hush.

The last cowboy punk was Abacha and they silenced him before he could throw the country into war, and mess up their investment. They are not going to be that careless again soon.

BTW Jonathan is clearly not a cowboy or punk, he will manage the crisis as expected and directed. He will cause no radical change. None at all. Just be merry and be happy.
Another of your tragically flawed formulaic arguments that make logic weep.

Why do you think the establishment is fighting back so ferociously and why do you think GEJ is the very first President they are fighting? The answers will be very illuminating to you. You will find that your arguments only help the establishments evil tactics, its wisdom to study the terrain thoroughly before making statements.

Which Tinubu risked his life for democracy?

The one that was jonesing in America when UNILAG students were being shot at Ojuelegba and Beko and co were in detention here? How was his life threatened while relaxing in America?

The same Tinubu that was living large while on exile in America to the extent that his fellow NADECO comrades were wondering his source of income and suspected him of collecting money from Abacha?

The same Tinubu who is now the main business partner of Abacha's henchmen, Chagoury and Chagoury, at Eko Atlantic City, Lekki Concession Company, Oriental Hotel, Lekki Airport etc, etc?

The same Tinubu who totally refused to allow democratic primaries within ACN in 2011?

Some of you criticise without reasoning. May I remind you that we have 3 arms of government, the Executive, the legislature and the Judiciary.
The legislature has made the law which Bankole is alleged to have fallen victim of, the executive has arrested him, investigated him and charged him to court. It is now left for the Judiciary to judge him and if found guilty send him to jail. How can you still be blaiming Jonathan( Executive) for not sentencing bankole? Is he the Judiciary? You people need to study and understand any issue before you begin to comment on them else ,foreighners may think Nigerians are dafts. PLEASE !!
You will find that 90% of those that make disparaging comments are doing it out of ignorance; the other 10% are trying to manipulate opinion (thats why its always the very same people).

“A member of the Sultan’s inner circle told PolOff the SSS Director (General) reportedly gave the Sultan his assurance that the SSS would not legally pursue the suspects if the North agreed to take custody of them and “reform their ways.”

The cable says that in some cases suspects were released despite been caught with explosives, arms and ammunition, or linked to the al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb. It says 12 suspects arrested and detained by the SSS in October 2007 for allegedly plotting terrorist attacks were released at different times in January and February 2008. Another US government cable says some of the suspects were later implicated in bombings and attacks claimed by Boko Haram.
This could only have happened because Yar Adua's NSA, Major General Abdullahi Sarki Mukhtar is an Islamic extremist according to wikileaks.
The guy that bombed the UN headquarters was released in 2007 too; now, see what has happened.
Politics › Re: SSS And Northern Leaders Deal Exposed? by Beaf: 2:07am On Sep 06, 2011
The cable reveals that the State Security Service and the Northern traditional system reached an understanding for the secretive release and non-trial of terrorism suspects from the region. The deal provided that terrorism suspects from the region would be released to a carefully selected group of traditional rulers and Imams shortly after their arrest

Our correspondent reports that nearly all of the terrorism suspects arrested in the North belong to the violent Islamic sect, Boko Haram.
.
Damn! shocked
This simply shows that the problem is impossible to solve without war or splitting the country. How can anybody replace the traditional rulers and Imans across the North? This is in addition to corrupt security services (another wikileaks has shown the Yar Adua's NSA to be an Islamic extremist).
These people are embedded deep within society.
I'm afraid, my view is different from yours in a very superior and more reasonable manner. We have to discuss the issue within the framework of the real problem of terrorism in Nigeria. The known financiers of these terrorist activities, whether they are in government or not should be rounded up and summarily judged, period. It does not matter to me whether they finance MEND, Boko Harm, or MASSOB. There is no such thing as ok terrorism, so so terrorism, or any other form of terrorism which should be acceptable to us in Nigeria. All terrorists deserve the same fate.
Boko haram is the only terrorist organisation in Nigeria. Period.
MASSOB is sworn to non-violence and the real MEND (not aboki MEND) is recognised Worldwide as fighting for human rights. It is fraudulent logic and skulduggery to attempt to fit them in the same group as boko haram. If we need to get anywhere, such nonsense needs to be avoided.

One thing is clear though, the financiers of aboki MEND are the same people behind boko haram. After the capture of the aboki MEND kingpins and with the fact that the ND had given its resounding voice to peace; the cabal (Yar Adua creatures, Atiku, Ciroma, IBB etc) took over boko haram (its original leaders were very conveniently dead anyway). That is the reason why in a few short months, they have evolved from a bunch of fools that attacked police armed with submachine guns with sticks and hammers into a sophisticated operation that has ties with al qaeda, runs blogs, press relations with the BBC and CNN, and access to money to buy good cars to waste in suicide missions.
