We keep talking about oil, but oil is becoming a bit old school with the ongoing rejigging of the petroleum industry. Gas is the new kid on the block, it will generate 7 times more money per annum than is possible from oil (thats why its called the gas revolution). The major gas states are Delta, Bayelsa and Anambra. Those three states will likely dwarf Lagos in the next few years (especially with the dredging of the Niger and the North-South trade that will encourage, transportation from local ports would be really cheap). |
Lol!

Certain states in this country would be better off on their own. [s]Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom[/s]. These states receive less in value from Nigeria than they contribute. Others (like my own Ekiti State, for example), probably consume more than they contribute. You feel me?
Lagos, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Edo, Ondo. |

AbdulMutallab had eyes on a sharia evangelists daughter? It only seems natural. Birds of a feather flock together and AbdulMutallab must have found romantic similarities. The names of the alleged camp directors - Yakubu I. Kano, Ibrahim Maigari Ahmadu, and Gambo Othman (aka Dawoud) -- were included in a text message sent to U.S. embassy staff by cell phone by Mahmood Halilu Chiroma, a reputed brother-in-law of Gen. Buhari. It is interesting that Buhari's brother-in-law seems to be in charge of protecting Buhari's kids. What happened to Buhari himself, how come he wasn't the one reporting the sharia bandits? Strange indeed. |
A boko haram general! ![]() The strange thing is that his name, Muraina Raji doesn't sound Northern. It means Henry Okah is not the only Southerner that sold out to born to rule interests. Filthy money can cause some to spit on their roots. |
Crisis brews in ACN over imposition of candidates By PETER ANOSIKE Saturday, September 03, 2011 Barring last minute intervention by the leadership of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Lagos State, Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), may burst into flames over who is to contest the October chairmanship position in the area. It is being alleged that the incumbent chairman is using the recent statement by the National Leadership of the party that serving council chairmen should be allowed to renew their mandate for another term of office to see himself as the anointed candidate for the October chairmanship polls. However, in a statement some party stakeholders in Eredo area are insisting that second term ticket promised the serving chairmen in the state was not a blanket offer that those who did not perform well would be dropped. According to the stakeholders under the umbrella of Eredo Watch Dog, they would resist every attempt to impose a candidate on them in the forth-coming chairmanship election. They said that imposing candidates on the electorate is not democratic, as people must be given freedom of choice. The group warned that if the party fails to allow free choice of candidates in the October chairmanship election in the state, there is likelihood of the party loosing some local councils. “Sequel to the recent announcement made by the National Leader and the stakeholders of ACN in Lagos State that serving council chairmen should be allowed to renew their mandate for another term in office come October 2011. But according to the National Leader of our great party Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that second term ticket is not a blanket. He made it clear that chairmen who did not perform will not be picked. But our greatest surprise this statement has been misinterpreted by the ACN leaders and council chairmen in the state to suit their selfish political ambitions. http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2011/sept/03/national-03-09-2011-008.html |
The wheels are flying off the ACN bus. Now the drug pushers ambitions are going to be truncated and he and his pack of bad winshes can leave Fashola to work in peace. |

If Nigerians push for true federalism, then yes, it would be possible. But right now, any state attempting such would face a fearsome military storm. So, guys please lets all push for true federalism, regional autonomy and resource control. |
afam4eva:Lol! |
GEJ should even go further and create a parallel police force led by the Israeli's or another friendly foreign country with experience of terrorism. Our police and army have been infiltrated by boko haram. Crack units in the army that contain no core-Northern Muslims should also be strongly considered. |
Gaddafi has become the new front for al qaeda agents to infiltrate Africa. Nobody else gives a phuck about Gaddafi. |
Fools follow fools. ![]() |
Whats going on in that state? It looks like Tinubu's mafia mean to milk that place until it is dry and barren. What would this lot do if they had real power in Nigeria? He said that the accused forged the Lagos State Government Staff Salary Scale which they used in stealing a total sum of N106,291,000 from the coffers of the government.Gaddem! |

shawonlese:He can't go anywhere, because his passport has been siezed. The man is going to jail. |
seanet02:No sir, you are the one hotly defending a confirmed criminal. Why? Are convictions allegations to you? Damn! Ikuforiji has two convictions, including one for credit card fraud; in simple words, he is a confirmed 419. What is a 419 doing in the Lagos state House of Assembly? To top that, how come he is the speaker and why are you defending him like you're gonna die? The thief was even gunning to be governor! ![]() Everyone knows the way ACN leaders are forced on the people, and indeed Ikuforiji was personally called home from his thieving in Romania by Tinubu. With all of the above, it becomes really difficult to understand why you are getting into a fever over Ikuforiji. The man is a phucking thief, credit card fraud is 419. ajirebi20:Is there anybody in this World thats proud to be Somali? Thats one blasted place where sharia is making the populace resort to eating grass like cattle, because of their man-made famine. |
^ Lol! Whats my problem if you want liberty to call anybody "odechukwu?" Dude, it really is your issue, I couldn't care less, cos it shows what you are. As for Buhari, he is a mere criminal that doesn't count. In case you missed out on why, here it is again, now run along sir: Beaf: |
ajirebi20:What can one say to an acolyte of Nigeria's self confessed fool at 70? ![]() |
Tushed:Dimeji's case is still in court, all his attempts to kill it failed. He is very likely to see the four walls of a jail house by the time judgement is given. |
Big B1:Sharap. Go and fan the 70 year olds arse. Or bera still, arrange another bout between him and Obj! ![]() I've never seen an old man thats as entertaining as IBB. Comedy is his legacy to Nigeria. |
ajirebi20:Lol! Try anything on GEJ and you will unleash the most potent punishment imaginable. |
pDude:So what? ![]() Can you absorb the fallout that would occur even if the wrong type of fly was to perch on GEJ? O' boy, tink well o! @topic This is a proper step from GEJ. He cannot entrust his security to the same vipers that are setting off bombs and killing the innocent. |
