Beaf is just a 2nd grade programmer who sit all day long scouting for opportunity to display his thuggery-filled nature at the expense of criminals. What baffle's me most is, how can you be blinded by what is happening in Delta? A peaceful and noble state which is now bury with axis of thieves ? Cant believe a murderer with a pending case should be allow close to public service office. But then, his stomach is etching and he's mouth is yawning. . . manmustwack!
At least, I don't lie like you. Quite a few NLers tell fibs for a leaving, never believe stray claims. Take Rhino.5dm the 419 for instance, he claims to be from Ondo, Ogun, Maiduguri etc. He claims to be under 30, yet a retired soldier. He is a "champ" computer artist, yet he built flood defences to save Italy, while juggling time as an independent petroleum engineering expert. . .419. |
zikclassiq:No, we are all equal as flesh and blood. Okonjo-Iweala simply holds all the keys to the ministry of finance, she is also a modern reformist with international clout; fruitcake and idiotic policies like naming something "Islamic Banking" in the middle of the boko haram crisis will not be happening that easily any more. The CBN is a stabiliser, not a means to rock the boat. |
Demdem:LOL! But you losers have mentioned Aregbesola as the reason for attacking a state that is more developed and far richer than yours. Not so? How is any state with an absentee governor like Aregbesola ever going to grow rich? Aregbesola is damn useless; if you like, open a million anti-Delta state threads, it would only look foolish, cos Delta is way more developed than the vast majority of states. In fact, Delta tops the list in several United Nations indices of development in Nigeria. Deal with the disgrace called Aregbesola and don't allow jealousy to kill you. ![]() |
hercules07:She is the finance minister, so there are a thousand and one ways she can tame and castrate Sanusi. Thats why the "born to rule" brigade have gone into fevers, spreading rumours, as well as attacking her image and issuing raw threats to harm Okonjo-Iweala. They are wasting their time. |
Gbawe:Ya! Aregbesola is the most useless governor in Nigeria. To some of you dolts tho, he is actually equal to a state as well; no wonder he is getting support from agbero's and the like for refusing to pay salaries in the state he "governs." LOLZZZ!!! . . .A mentally occluded lot! What will you guys hail him for next? Living in Lagos, while he is "governor" of Osun? Thats got to be some record! He'll soon be topping the achievements of the likes of Barkin Zuwo. Bunch of losers. |
Demdem:I don't attack other states. I attack bloody useless politicians and Aregbesola leads the pack. When did Aregbesola become a state? ![]() What a set of clowns. You people are only displaying yourselves as a bunch of loosers. |
Lol! Now you guys finally got me curious enough to click the link. Its really the worst looking site on Earth! Funny stuff indeed! OP, do yourself a favour and get a pro. Lol! |
By all means, they should seek to resolve the strike. But governors shouldn't let civil servants gouge their state out of too much money. How effective do you think a governor will be if he caves in any time the civil servants decide to strike? Cave in and you won't be able to put your pants on without their permission.
I am very sure every governor needs to remain at home to generate money for workers salaries.
[li]Aregbesola lives in Lagos, instead of in Osun[/li] [li]He spends only 3 days a month in Osun[/li] [li]He has spent far more time abroad than in Osun[/li] [li]His estacode and airfare will more than pay the wages of Osun workers[/li] [li]Aregbesola claims that he wasn't elected to pay workers salaries! [li]He spent 9 months disturbing Fashola in Lagos and trying to choose his commisioners, whereas his own Osun had NO commissioners! [li]He claims to be waiting for dry season to begin governing, but the next dry season will be the second since he became governor[/li]
What a waste of space! |
As an aside, how dare you call anyone else bigoted? Cab driver = "bestial nature" to you? Be very careful with those sort of remarks. At least, if you look down on people poorer than you, at least have the common sense not to voice those sentiments publicly. Reminds me of that David Mark comment, "telephone is not for the poor" (or so.) Even non-elites deserve to be treated with some respect.
An agbero is of bestial nature, and thats what my comment said. They aren't civilised economists and whatnots are you claimed. All NURTW members tend to be of bestial nature and close to armed robery gangs; it is the reason why a pretender like Aregbesola finds ready support in their squalid ranks. |
3kay945:Who do you want GEJ to choose as finance minister? IBB or Buhari? Rubbish. |
^ “Since Monday, Aug. 8, when the strike became effective, majority of the workers have travelled, even those who have permanent abode in Oshogbo stay indoors,” he said. “No driver can boast of daily delivery of N1, 000 now unlike the past when you can make up to N2, 500.”This is the crux of the matter, not whether rich or poor people are wise. NURTW people tend to be worthless thugs who couldn't care for the welfare of the next man; which is why Aregbesola finds favour in their eyes. |
Perhaps these agberos and NURTW folks majored in econ or public policy in college or have a subscription to the economist ![]() In any case, they clearly have a better sense of the responsibilities of a government to its people (all its people, not just a tiny segment) than you do.
Of course, you would think the ridiculous. The rest of us understand them to be people of bestial nature. More like these. . . https://www.nigeriaplus.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Ibadan-NURTW-riot.jpg |
4 Play:For the generality of Nigerians, this would be arguable. However, for Aregbesola, there's no argument that can sell. His state cannot pay its workers because it is 100% reliant on Abuja for money. Now, thats representative of most of the country, but other governors are at least making an effort to govern their states and generate revenue internally to add to what comes from the FG. Aregbesola has spent only 3 days a month in Osun since coming to office, the man lives in Lagos and gallivants the Globe. His airfare and estacode would have paid the salaries he is disputing. No state can run on autopilot and not get poorer, that is why Osun has problems paying its workers. |
You are in trouble when NURTW members and agbero's begin supporting your "agenda." How could a governor find himself in such a position? It really speaks poorly, but there is really little surprise; here's a guy that took the better part of a year, simply to choose a set of commissioners. |
Gbawe:Lol! So all of this is about expressing pain for the useless Aregbesola? This is very very funny indeed! Aregbesola is bloody useless. I hear he is still living in Lagos and waiting for the "dry season" to start working. What a guy! ![]() kill yasef if e de pain yu se I tok so! |
A taxi driver in Oshogbo, who craved anonymity, condemned the reluctance of the workers to shift ground for the State Government and bring an end to the strike. That is some pretty weird reasoning. It would seem that drivers and agbero's are getting bought over by Aregbesola's strange argument that he wasn't elected to pay workers. |
Drivers complain low patronage in Oshogbo The faceoff between labour and the Osun State government is affecting commercial activities Article | August 20, 2011 - 9:10am | By Vincent Ehiabhi Intra-city taxi and minibus drivers in Oshogbo are lamenting low patronage, due to the on-going strike by workers in the state, a recent survey has shown. A cross-section of the drivers, who spoke in an interview, on Friday, expressed their concern over the two-week old strike. The Unit Chairman, Oke-Fia Minibus Association, Kamil Adewale, said the strike had drastically reduced the number of commuters. “Since Monday, Aug. 8, when the strike became effective, majority of the workers have travelled, even those who have permanent abode in Oshogbo stay indoors,” he said. “No driver can boast of daily delivery of N1, 000 now unlike the past when you can make up to N2, 500.” Adewale appealed to the two sides, labour and the state government, to resolve the minimum wage dispute without further delay. A taxi driver in Oshogbo, who craved anonymity, condemned the reluctance of the workers to shift ground for the State Government and bring an end to the strike. He called on the workers to agree with the government's modalities for the implementation of the N18, 000 minimum wage, adding that public servants were not the only people that needed government attention in the state. “If Aregbesola use all the state allocation to pay salary, what happen to our roads and other areas that need attention?” he asked. Another driver, Sefiu Ajijolade, who plies Abere -Ota-Efun road, lamented that the strike had affected the weekly instalment deposit paid to his dealer. He appealed to the State Government to answer the workers so that work would resume. http://dailytimes.com.ng/article/drivers-complain-low-patronage-oshogbo |
Beaf's "rest on my laurels" mentality I guess makes it easy for those who seek to improve themselves and get better (like Akwa Ibom) to zoom past his state. He is the type of guy who probably in RL will spend the next 30 years in the same position. "Why should I bother improving myself? After all, I earn a decent salary now." 5-10 years from now, those who he supervised will become his boss. He will be praying and fasting at church to get a promotion rather than getting rid of this "rest on my laurels" mentality. Then again, not everyone in life has a "go getter" mentality.
What does your state do for a living, sir? Nothing? Lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!! Jealousy will kill those from goat producing areas o! ![]() |
i hope sanusi is listening?
Word. ![]() That guy is gonna be frustrated beyond words, he won't even know where the blows are coming from. |
Indeed. We will always be poorer than Delta. Despite the fact that most of Nigeria's GDP growth seems to be in the non-oil sector (see the latest report on the CBN website), and my state's economy is almost entirely non-oil
How much of your imaginary GDP growth is from selling the goats that are the only thing you village produces? Lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!Delta state remains far richer and more developed than you pothole of a state. Jealousy will kill you sha. |
^ Dude, my state will always be far more developed than yours. If you like kill yourself; life will go on. LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!! ![]() |
^ I am still waiting for you to go to court, Mr 419. ![]()
I expect you mature NLers to address the issues raised sensibly and stop the insults and name calling. I have been having meaningful discussions with Beaf on various issues for a few years now and he is generally open-minded and sensible (excluding his charade during the presidential elections). The elections are over and you people should bury your daggers and address issues that will affect generations of Nigerians amicably. The fools who are robbing or have robbed us blind come from all parts of the country. From Ibori to IBB, OBJ, Uduaghan(spell), all former governors and current governors, and I venture to say, 99.99% of office holders in Nigeria. These thieves expct the youths like you people, to be engaged in tribalism and self hatred because this will remove the focus on them. You will be double fools if you allow their deceit to continue. IBB was stoned in Zaria, several Emirs' palaces were attacked in protests, while I prefer peaceful protests by the youths, you all should be attacking the thieves in your regions on every level. Now Beaf, I know you have attacked and opposed Ibori in the past, so what is this accusation by the OP? I believe Beaf does not have any interest in covering up for these thieves, he is bigger than being unable to call a spade a spade in this case - abi you know those in power in Delta state personally ni? Or do they know who you are, like I do? If so I don't blame you for being too careful since these people are known murderers and assasins. But nwannem, at some point, hair must grow on balls.
Much appreciated. They are kids. |
Sometimes, people toil for no reason. Sometimes people go through the motions and expect the wrong results. Once in a while, we get so hooked into a dream that we see dross and think it is gold. Here's a vid of futility. Whats to be expected? Whats to be gained? [flash=420,345] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_-BVg0VIyo[/flash] 4 years are wasting on Aregbesola. |
@OAMJ I will ask that you ban Rhino.5DM and Gbawe for their open bigotry against the SS. They have gone and opened a replica of the thread you locked a couple of days ago. It is quite daft to allow for posts against an individuals state or place of origin, while feigning ignorance that such can be anything else but offensive. I have complained about the likes of Gbawe on several occassions, but it seems obnoxious types and bigots are what NL encourages. It begs the question of what the mods are. |
oyb:You seem to have forgotten how much you defended IBB in the recent elections. He is only showing how foolish he is to young and old, also he's actions display the abject daftness of those like you who canvassed that he should be president. In the meantime, his behaviour is no better than the average boko haram operative. |
Big B1:Thats a very strange thing to say about a shameless old man who is locked in a verbal duel where phrases like "fool at 70" are used freely. Strange indeed. As for IBB's "reason," it can only be as stup!d as his actions. |
nagoma:Does it matter where the shopkeeper is from? There is no need to attempt to inject ethnic bigotry into this thread. Una like, or una no like; boko haram will be destroyed. ![]() |
Nice. Fresh Air is gradually but surely morphing Nigeria into something beautiful. |
Nice one, GEJ. |
Embarrassed by the exchange of insults ongoing between two former Presidents, Ibrahim Babangida and Olusegun Obasanjo, some state governors have waded into the imbroglio, by mounting pressures on President Goodluck Jonathan to call the two elder statesmen to order.Foolish old buzzards. ![]() |
Call Obasanjo, IBB, to order, govs tell Jonathan •Meet today on Jonathan’s six-year single term proposal By Rotimi Akinwumi Correspondent, Abuja Embarrassed by the exchange of insults ongoing between two former Presidents, Ibrahim Babangida and Olusegun Obasanjo, some state governors have waded into the imbroglio, by mounting pressures on President Goodluck Jonathan to call the two elder statesmen to order. The media was awash last week with exchanges of insulting words between the duo, an occurrence most Nigerians see, not only as demeaning of the office they had both occupied in the past, but also constituting nuisance to the international image of the country. It is not clear if the matter will be officially discussed at the Governor’s Forum meeting to be held today. Sunday Independent, however, gathered that the meeting scheduled to hold at the River State Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro in Abuja is set to discuss the controversial issue of the six-year single term proposal by Jonathan. It was gathered as well that the state executives would also take a look at the proposal by the president to seek constitutional amendment to labour laws as to make it easier for states to negotiate minimum wage in their respective states, unlike the blanket negotiation being done by the Federal Government on behalf of the states. A competent source disclosed to Sunday Independent that there is the likelihood of the Forum resolving not to back the six-year single term proposal by the president as members have, at individual levels, shown resentment to the proposal while making personal comments about the new proposal made by the president. It will be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan came under heavy criticism by members of opposition, some members of his own party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as well as some opinion leaders when the news broke that he was planning to forward a bill to the National Assembly, seeking to reverse the four-year renewable term for executive office holder to a single term of six years, non-renewable. The president was accused of seeking a back door means of extending his current term, while others who believed his excuse that he was altruistic about his intention said the timing of the proposal was wrong. Under fire, President Jonathan at the PDP National Executive Committee (NEC) explained that the proposal was not original to him, but a report adopted by an inter-party committee he headed while he was the Vice-President in 2008. It was generally believed that the idea has died with the level of condemnation that trailed it, but the presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, last week told Nigerians that the plan was still alive and that the bill would be sent to the National Assembly when members returned from their holidays. However, the proposal by the president to give powers to states to negotiate salaries for their workers in accordance with the financial strength of the states is expected to receive favourable consideration from the state governors’ meeting. The issue of minimum wage payment in the country has become a thorny issue in the country as most governors have complained that the N18,000 minimum wage agreement entered into by the Federal Government with workers in the country cannot be implemented by most of the states because of their lean resources. The state governors argued that the nation’s revenue allocation formula must be changed to favour the states before they might be able to pay the new minimum wage. http://www.independentngonline.com/DailyIndependent/Article.aspx?id=39263 |
