This is the right action to test the limits and interpretation of the constitution, not the raucous and Neanderthal noises that have been ejaculated by those with a primitive bent.
Both sides should be ready to accede to the final judgement. Nigeria is a changed place from the old times where chaos ruled and vagabonds sat over us; its a brand new World of civilisation, due process and rule of law.

Slowly, but surely we will get there.

@BEAF on the move again,  but at least look at this introspectively, do you still stand on the podium of political progress and enthronement of democratic priniples as you claimed in your heydays as GEJ voluntary campaign commander grin The Institution known as the NJC is not a political football but its members are
Perhaps they were in the past, just like the judiciary has been. But things are changing and we must expect that those whom past corrupt practices in the judiciary favoured would kick very loudly. Regardless, the countries institutions must be set on the right path or we'll end up deceiving ourselves when we talk of progressing down the paths of civilisation and development.

There is no place in the judiciary for both Katsina-Alu and Salami. The judiciary must be cleaned up and political judges ejected.
Politics › Re: Goodluck Should Be Impeached For Violating Constitution by Beaf: 7:19pm On Aug 23, 2011
ACN judge has been suspended. Why una de cry na?
Should a judge have political controversies hanging around his neck and sprouting from his pockets?

The law and constitution have taken their cause, it is for the civilised among us to take it with manful wisdom. The judiciary is not a political football.

Gbawe:
Of course he does not. Constitutional law experts and prominent lawyers like Femi Falana have done this topic to death and shown , plainly and without ambiguity , how the actions of the NJC flouts the provision of the constitution . Anyone who takes x-factoria seriously must be uninformed and easily decieved by the words of a person that carries no expert authority.
Have you wondered why none of these lawyers has taken the matter to court? The reason they haven't is that the action was 100% constitutional.
Anybody saying the opposite should prove, not go around screaming purely emotional nonsense like mad people.

The fact is that Salami was bent and it is those in whose favour he was bent that are making empty noises.
Politics › Re: Fashola Condemns Jonathan's Action Over Salami ! by Beaf: 7:02pm On Aug 23, 2011
Funny crap! If anybody feels the suspension of a corrupt judge is illegal, why can't they just go to court?
You do not declare actions illegal on NL or in the press, thats just daft. The courts are what decide illegality, we don't live in a stone-age society where different clods just get up and grunt or scream against authority for no reason.

@ Demdem.Salami was asked to step outside pending when all the issues will be amicably  resolve. He was not sacked. It is only the National Assembly that has the constitutional Mandate to sack Salami, I just don't understand why anything GEJ is greeted with blind hatred by all ACN and CPC apologist?

GEJ has followed due process and you can shout to high heaven, This is a ploy by your ACN politicians to distract us .GEJ will make rewrite history in Nigeria.
Abi o! When did the judiciary become a political matter?

Problem i have with the judiciary is that either CJ or PCA lied on oath regarding the case of Sokoto election tribunal. Which of them lied, or was PCA removed because he told the truth about the Sokoto case?
Exactly.
It shows the deep rot in the system; they both need to go.
I hope many more follow too, because our judiciary has become a laughing stock.

Delta state is getting a $16billion investment, which is really nice; its to build Africa's largest ever industrial complex. Another gas producing state Bayelsa will be getting similar and so will Lagos.

Gas will bring in much more money than oil ever did. It will also be the trigger for Nigeria's industrialisation.

One good thing about it too, is that it can't be bunkered like oil. cool

I find your post amusing and insulting at the same time; you cannot coerce an individual to your point of view.
