What power have ACN, CPC and TMG got to put GEJ under fire. Some positions people take are just ridiculous beyond words. Those parties are only fighting because they are scared that their manipulation of the judiciary is about to be thoroughly exposed. The old way of doing things is gone forever and the country is firmly on the path to lawfulness and development for the very first time in our history. The judiciary should be like a holy place, a place imbued with gravitas, moral and intellectual weight; not a place staffed with controversial characters. It should be devoid of politics and the comedic actions of interested parties like ACN and CPC that would do anything, including killing youth corpers in their wild-eyed desperation for power. But Nigeria is changing, and these days the constitution is king. |
These plethora of daft threads is because I exposed a gaping hole in ACN's wall of hubris. The only stand out leader they have is Fashola, They also have a terrible clown in the person of Aregbesola. The rascal, Aregbesola spends money for workers salaries on estacode and air tickets travelling abroad, living large in Lagos and spending only 3 days a month in his state; after that, he turns around to tell workers he wasn't elected to pay them. Wow! Thats among other equally quixotic displays of incompetence. It took the guy 9 phucking months to simply pick a set of commissioners, strangely in that period, he was firmly ensconced in Lagos disturbing and derailing Fashola's govt, trying to, guess what?. . . Choose commisioners for Fashola!!! What a guy! |
lagos2NYC:Continue fooling yourself and I'll just continue my usual stuff; intellectually disfiguring, discombobulating and shredding mental and moral dwarfs like you sir. making you run about creating dafter and dafter threads; its what fools do. I imagine that one day, you will indeed end up claiming Beaf is god. LOL! I drive you guys crazy, cos the truth is bitter and you are damn stup!d, you lack the biceps, deftness and moral skills to succeed in a civil discussion. Each day you break the id!ocy records and confuse science with your deafening displays of baboon behaviour. What a bunch of losers! |
Gbawe:Look at this clown and shameless liar. Where you not the one smearing http://afrosciencecommunity.com/, lying that it is fraudulent simply because I exposed that rascal and quixotic clown called Aregbesola. Anybody thats a cheap liar like you is a very dangerous person indeed. This is a post I made on the other foolish thread you bunch of losers created, it was directed squarely at Gbawe and shows the sort of wicked frog he is: Look at this clown trying to look good after behaving like the thug you really are. Where you not one of those trying to make out a labour of love for Africans to be an attempt to defraud people? Its right here on this thread; only the gutter bred behave that way, it is also a true representation of your party, ACN.https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=741011.msg8984362#msg8984362 |
Fools sha. ![]() |
^ Dude, jumping to conclusions about others is a very terrible sin. Especially if it is simply because they are being real, practical and hold differing opinions. I am very glad you have come to see other aspects of the person called Beaf (you know what I'm hinting at ). I am much more useful to Nigeria, the poor and the common man than 90% of NL; some of us just don't boast, cos it ain't necessary and its also daft. |
Dude, C# will take places PHP will dare not go, so keep learning both. You won't regret learning C#, just don't forget C# doesn't use the $ sign. ![]() One thing you should also do is get to grips with JavaScript and Html 5, cos Microsoft is committing sacrilege and high treason by basing the upcoming Windows 8 UI on that stuff. You could be in there kicking from the get-go. |
^ Lol! Unu go wound person wit laf o! ![]() I will soon be god to you as well. Dude, get lost with your mental limp. proudly9ja:Stop thinking you are clever. Wikipedia always has references, its only semi-literate folk that will get caught out by the edit you've done on GEJ's page. In any event, you are gonna be banned for that by tomorrow. Bill Clinton was impeached for perjury. End of. ![]() |
If you say Delta state is backward, what do you call the rest of Nigeria? A latrine? The fact remains that Delta state is Nigeria's 3rd most successful, and that makes loud folk who only talk out of ignorance seem rather daft. And yes, I am 100% unadulterated progressive, the website the evil fools on this thread have been smearing proves it. Some of us actually walk the walk, not blow hot air all over the place like you sad fellows. Delta state is also the only state that has hounded an ex-gov until he saw jail, the other states are more bigoted, so baboons get on here singing praises about the lord baboon, Aregbesola who spends only 3 days in his state and lives in Lagos. Those same baboons think its ok to go after the governor of a highly successful state, because Beaf is from there. It makes you guys look rather daft. I wonder how much you can argue with these figures? Its really sad how NL gives expression to ignorance: Purchasing Power Parity Rank State GDP in 2007 (PPP$)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nigerian_states_by_GDP This is as close as it gets. Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) is an a fairly accurate measure of the amount that business and private enterprise generates in each state. |
^ Your post supports my position about majority vs largest ethnic group. There is no ethnic majority in Delta state. We only have bigger and smaller groups, the fact that Urhobo is the biggest doesn't make it the majority group. In order to get an absolute majority, they must team up with others (usually the Igbo's); eg if an Urhobo politician decides to rely on Urhobo votes and organisation alone, he will fail (even if he won). The truth of the matter is that cooperation works best in Delta state, not size of ethnic group. |
blink182:Urhobo, the fifth largest in the country? Come on! I have volumes of Urhobo blood flowing through my veins, but I wouldn't make such a grand claim. The only semi-correct statement so far has come from Jason. Urhobo's are the biggest ethnic group in Delta state, but not the majority; the other ethnic groups combined (Igbo, Isoko, Itsekiri and Ijaw) are numerically bigger. |
I feel for these guys, but why would graduates want pipeline security jobs? Something doesn't sound quite right, I really don't want anybody spoiling the good name Urhobo land has garnered for itself over the years. Urhobo's are a minority who have always attained beyond their minority status and don't need this. However I'm sure the govt has no choice but to sort them out, more than enough has been done for the ex-militants. |
^ How are the carmels and how was your most recent escapade running very fast after goats in the desert? Bloody boko haram. Gbawe:Case closed! ![]() Confessions of a daft ACN man tripping all over his own foolishness and evil. This thread is all about the useless Aregbesola, init? LolZ! Thats why the bigoted attack on Delta and the gutter attack on http://afrosciencecommunity.com/ Dude, you are only showing the World the ugliness that you and ACN really represent. Bunch of losers. |

omo alaro:Really? Bill Clinton, President of the United States, was impeached by the House of Representatives on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice on December 19, 1998, but acquitted by the Senate on February 12, 1999. Two other impeachment articles, a second perjury charge and a charge of abuse of power, failed in the House. The charges arose from the Lewinsky scandal and the Paula Jones lawsuit. The trial proceedings were largely partisan, with only five Democratic Representatives voting to impeach and no Democratic Senators voting for conviction. With a two-thirds majority required for conviction, only 45 senators voted guilty on the perjury charge and 50 on the obstruction charge.[1] It was only the second impeachment of a President in American history.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_of_Bill_Clinton |

No, we are people who put our money and sweat where our mouth is to give to the people; yet we get insulted by lowlifes and gutter types like you. Dude, you revealed yourself, live with the shame. Thanks all the same, because your despicable onslaught has only given more strength to our efforts. . . . All your primitive efforts are to frighten me off condemning the clown called Aregbesola. . . .Funny thing is Delta you guys decided to turn on, is far more developed than your states. |
pokur:How? The senate is only required if Salami is being sacked. He has been suspended until his court cases and other controversies are done, that is very far from a sacking. |
confetti:Guilt for what? Please take emotion out of the calculation. There are huge differences between a customs officer and one of the leaders of an independent arm of govt. There is no way both cases can be compared, lets not belittle our judiciary. From my point of view, there is no way either Salami or Katsina-Alu can be allowed to continue in the judiciary. Both men have to go, luckily for Katsina-Alu he is retiring. Govt can't be run like its Dugbe market or Okija. As for the things Gbawe said, they turned out to be false, not so? Aside from that they are 100% miss-spent emotion. In such matters, emotion does not play a part. The axe will fall on anybody that taints the perception of Nigeria, at home and abroad especially; we can't continue running around with the image of a berserk nation. The place has got to be cleaned up and sanity restored. |
^ Well done with your determination to travel, its really good to do that. I too have been everywhere in Nigeria apart from Akwa-Ibom and Cross River. I know every other state. |
Gbawe:Lol! I'm going to make it a point of duty to be "civil" to the putrid lord Gbawe who possesses squalid morals and an unevolved intellect. Afterall, who can I thank, but he and his gang for this super-primitive attempt to frighten me off condemning that useless clown called Aregbesola? I'm here quaking in fear! ![]() Rascals sha! ![]() |
jason123:Don't mind him. People like him only see Delta state through their narrow ethnic binoculars. It is a shame really. Uduaghan might not be Jesus, but he is better than 80% of governors; a lot of people hate him simply because he is Itsekiri, not for any good reason. Its a sign of the backward mind. Anybody can rule Delta state; Urhobo, Itsekiri, Ijaw or Isoko. |
okstol: @Beaf, maybe na Uduaghan dey use dat your yeye data dey deceive una. As for Boyloaf, its a pity dat u are serving coz as a graduate u lack basic comprehension.Oga, why you de doubt na? That data is reliable. There is even UN and other high quality source data that shows Delta performing equal to or better than even Lagos for certain development indices. Its going to get even better. In the very near future when the gas revolution fully takes off, both Delta and Bayelsa (rural as it is) will very likely sweep past Lagos in development terms. A lot of big things are quietly happening in both states; Delta just attracted $16billion as part of the investment in the gas revolution that is going to become the new driver for the Nigerian economy. For comparison, $16billion is almost a whopping 60% of the entire 2011 Nigerian budget. http://allafrica.com/stories/201107280466.html http://allafrica.com/stories/201108020871.html Anyways, Lagos will be getting some of the gas infrastructure too, so we'll see some lovely competition in the next 5 years; but you can take it for granted that Delta will overtake Rivers at the very least to become the second developed. Up de'ta! ![]() |

Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) is an a fairly accurate measure of the amount that business and private enterprise generates in each state. We need to bring in things like United Nations HDI measurements to complete the picture. |
Nigerians and their excuses! Manuals are written in Chinese so the World has ended? Those PHCN staff have just been plain incompetent as usual. |
I believe he filed a case in court before his suspension. I don't know the details, but it won't be a stretch to assume his allegations against Katsina Alu is included. Anyway, let's wait and see how this will end. Even ghaddafi sef cannot last for ever.
He did file a case, but it has nothing to do with Katsina-Alu. His case was to stop the NJC from taking action against him. Unfortunately, that didn't wash. No responsible country can allow its judiciary become involved in all sorts of personal squabbles that don't speak well, its just unprofessional and stinks of corruption. Too many things are hanging over the names of our judges; the place needs cleaning up. |
We love pulling rank too much in Nigeria. NNPC should not be this loud about their disapproval, instead they should go and check out the claim, cos it just might be genuine. |
In all honesty,do you actually think Jonathan will propose any bill that will compromise his supreme presidential powers ? What about total federalism, state police ?
I believe most of the proposals have to do with true federalism. He can only propose and wait for the Nigerian mood to drive issues, because such matters require a groundswell of opinion. |
Unfortunately it has not ended and it cannot end like that. Remember Justice Ayo Salami made allegations of Tsunami proportions against Chief Justice Katsina Alu? Salami alleged that Alu tried to manipulate the Sokoto election decision, he intimidated Justice Salami and tried to force him off the case, he even invoked a concern for the Sultan of Sokoto's preference (probably a lie to curry favor) Beaf, those are grave allegations made against the chief Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Katsina Alu, by his Appeal court chief Justice Ayo Salami. They should have been suspended together, Based on your argument. Going by your logic and noble sounding conclusions I guess it will only be fair that the chief Justice be suspended also, he is not above the law afterall and the constitution made provisions for how to deal with that, right? It is the height of un-fairness for the Chief justice and his kangaroo NJC panel to become a Prosecutor and defendant in his own case. You only need to take one minute of fair-mindedness to see the Injustice of this whole issue.
History has a way of showing up a mans habits. Salami made grave allegations against Katsina-Alu. . .guess where? In the press! When it seemed that people found that ridiculous, he made a show of going to court and then being talked out of it by eminent Nigerians! Not by lawyers, not by the judge, not by the NBA. Who are these eminent Nigerians? It would be very interesting indeed to find out. We should not take sides in matters like this, but let due process take its cause. |
Gbawe:All emotional parf. None of the above has anything to do with why Salami has been asked to clear his name before resuming his seat. Beaf, Beaf, Beaf!!! You will kill yourself o! ![]() All you do is disgrace yourself because you cannot engage in a logical argument. It always has to plumb gutter lows. If my argument is too intelligent for you, learn to apply logic to help yourself. The law has followed its cause, and it is useless fighting legal battles in the press. The decision has been taken for probity and the sake of the countries image; it will not be reversed no matter the noise from politicians and business men. It is a judicial matter. |
There is already a six year single term proposal and a bill to create mini states by giving autonomy to local governments pending, why are other essential amendments that will ensure fiscal and true federalism not being proposed by jonathan ? Or is he afraid of losing his presidential power ?
There are about 50 amendments he is proposing (only a couple have leaked). All are very fundamental I would imagine, so lets wait and see. |
He's definitely not fighting in the press, he filed a case in court challlenging the "perjury" Before he was suspended, like many smart Nigerian lawyers have said from Sagay to the NBA, the NJC seems to be violating their own rules.
Lawyers will have their differences, its normal. Salami cannot keep sitting as president of the Court of Appeal, while strong allegations of perjury, bribery and bias hang around his neck. The best decision has been made, which is that he steps aside until his court cases are settled. That's the only responsible thing to do. Why is he so desperate as if there is something to hide? He has not been sacked and his salary is not stopping. The thing the President cannot allow is for the judiciary to sink to laughable lows, so he has acted strongly to stem it immediately. This nonsense has been festering for sometime and needs to be checked; the judiciary is not the bedroom for politicians and businessmen and there is no reason why its senior leaders should be quarrelling in public. It had to end, and so it has. |
