Dude, they were setting Lewis up with all the black stereotypes they could lay their hands on:

"He is uncontrollably excited by money and into bling, music and super star girlfriends; he's just a block with raw talent and no brains or self-control; he loves to party; he has no social skills and Jenson is able to deliver better with McLaren both technically and socially; Jenson can set up a car which Lewis doesn't have the brains for."

The crap blew up in their faces big time this weekend. McLaren's Sam Michael screwed it in deeper when he hinted to Gary Anderson that Jenson is basically useless and can't drive without engineers helping him with data.
I hope it worsens tomorrow too, cos I do not see how the likes of Alonso and a couple of others behind wouldn't leapfrog him.

Lewis travails are a sad lesson that in areas where there is not much black paticipation, we need to stand by our black man or woman.
I like the way he played the fool over the weekend too, delivering slower times than Jenson in all 3 practice sessions, but when the time came for men to stand up, dude stood up. cool

burkutu: Imho, the post of nsa is a very cerebral one. Nigerian army officers whether serving or retired are not known for their intelligence.i just don't understand why the post must be given to an army officer. Dammit, the variables the nsa has to juggle to make strategic decisions goes beyond knowledge of weaponry and deployment of troops ffs.
True, there is no reason why it shouldn't go to ex-SSS people. They are much more suited to such tasks.
The use of soldiers is a hangover from our sad military times; the NSA had to have respect within military ranks to avoid coups. However, these days coups are impossible and any coup planner in todays Nigeria is basically a fool.

koruji: Self-deceit is a serious disease. Only one question for you and I 'll leave you to your delusion of PDP sweeping the SW.

If they were to choose a political party in the SW today - all these great men/women would choose which one between ACN and PDP?

Answer: Almost to the last one of them will pitch his/her tent with ACN in the SW.

I am glad that you had the good sense to leave OBJ out of the names of great Yoruba sons/daughters. Everyone knows what he represents in Yorubaland, and I am glad to see you acknowledge that. It is telling that OBJ as the living PDP "great man" of the SW (puke) did not merit being named as one of the great Yoruba sons listed by you. Really, you should begin to see how self-contradictory you have become!!!

I have told you way back in the past how, because you keep supporting lies, you end up tying yourself in a knot. Here is another demonstration of the truth of that statement.

Enough said already.
Koru-koru, the unbalanced one! grin
The Awoists are all in PDP; they are afterall, a cerebral lot with zero NURTW leanings.
You actually trapped yourself with a rather silly question!
Politics › Re: Spoiler In The Crystal Ball - Political Map Of The SW In 2015 by Beaf(op): 3:46pm On Jun 23, 2012
koruji: Keep deceiving yourself. It is not really the person, it is the party. You are too blind to see.

If a party gave you Ibori, and you said we 'll change him and then you replaced him to Uduaghan, who repeats the same thuggery and corruption, there is something really wrong with you to think that you will simply replace the person and keep the party again and get a different result.

It doesn't take much to know that whoever PDP gives you next in Delta is going to perform even worse than Uduaghan.

Meanwhile, until you can demonstrate how you will get good governance out of PDP in your neck of the woods stop trying to promote PDP in the SW. Otherwise you speak with a foul-smelling mouth in that regard.
Koru-koru, the unbalanced one! grin

Bro, as is evidenced from the way we chased Ibori, we know how to deal with our stuff. Ibori was the best "performing" governor in his time, he built stadiums, clinics etc in practically every village. Driving through the Sapele axis, past Oghara, Warri, Agbarho, Ughelli etc, is driving through one continious string of development. We basically don'yt have the sort of busg, goat laden villages that are rampant across the country; outside Lagos, no state is half as developed as Delta state (even Rivers, cos its a one city state)... Yet, we chased the living phuck out of Ibori for stealing our money.

Someone like you would have been in thrall of Ibori, swooning in to silly stupor at his every word like a lad at his first sight of puzzy. We Deltans have a much higher standard. Uduaghan who we declare to be useless today, would be a god in ACN, hailed for "performance" by the NURTW party. In criticising Uduaghan, we do not compare ourselves to the rest of the country, but to Rivers and Akwa Ibom; we just want to be the best.

Now, can we say that about ACN people who have no political argument outside ethnic blackmail? It is ethnic blackmail that has afflicted Osun with the Aregbesola disease, a man whose mental state is clearly near psychotic. Who else gives "free" farmlands to people in an elephant reserve in front of camera's and with great pomp, only to get Tawun militants to beat Beelzebob through their left ears and Baphomet out the right as soon as the camera's are gone?
It is the same ethnic blackmail that is seeing ACN's proud son, Amosun building an aircondition footbridge over the Ibara-Ita-Eko road that is barely used and which at a mere 2.5km, cost N1.3bn. Not even in the troublesome terrain of the Niger Delta do roads cost that much to build!

Koru-koru, the unbalanced one, what does ACN have to offer aside from ethnic blackmail? Is ACN the newest ethnic group or is it a political party that is fit to contest at national level?
PDP has national spread is is representative of all ethnicities. Is ACN not merely a collection of village meeting types who can take the SW nowhere? What cerebral political argument do you have? None? Since you lack any, it is easy to see why PDP will be retakeing lost ground across the SW.
Politics › Re: Spoiler In The Crystal Ball - Political Map Of The SW In 2015 by Beaf(op): 3:12pm On Jun 23, 2012
koruji: The funny thing is that you can list the names of great men of "epic proportions" out of Yoruba land - Awolowo's, Kuti's, Soyinka's, Fawehinmi's, Ajasin's, Jakande's, Tai Solarin's. You obviously cannot see the irony - not one name from your neck of the woods. That tells you two things:

1. You have a deep "inferiority complex" where the Yoruba is concerned, so you spend your entire waking day on their politics and people. You are like a dog that backs at everything that moves as long as it is behind a fence. Remove that fence, and watch him slow into a low, fearful, growl.

2. Those great men were of the same brand as the people you are today condeming. In fact, it is your predecessors, thugs with pseudo-intelligence, that held these people back from transforming Yoruba land. The ACN of today carries on the tradition of these great men. The only difference this time is that the Yoruba has had enough of your foolishness. Your ill-advised adventures will be met and overpowered at every turn.

With people like you selling PDP to the SS, the "excellent not" job your PDP governors have done for the last 13 years, and the embarrassment that GEJ is making of the SS at the center, no wonder the SS will pitch its tent with ACN in 2015.

You are a deep embarrassment to your people.
Koru-koru, the unbalanced one! grin

Bro, you are one funny guy! Firstly, can we talk about politics not sentimental issues of ethnicity? Thats what the culture section is meant for, bro.
I am proud to have mentioned men of epic proportion from the SW, because we are talking here about PDP sweeping the SW like a veritable gargantuan gale wind. Here is the list again; the Awolowo's, Kuti's, Soyinka's, Fawehinmi's, Ajasin's, Jakande's, Tai Solarin's... All strong men of tectonic impact on the Nigerian political and intellectual stratosphere's.

What has ACN given us on the other hand?

Tawun militants, NURTW, drug barons, certificate forgers, governors who match around with cutlass weilding thugs, thugs matching with weapons drawn in broad daylight through the streets of Lagos, ACN members publicly invoking evil spirits on one another at Iyan Isolo; governors "buying" train coaches for the FG, giving out "free" farmlands on elephant reservations and building airconditioned footbridges over the 2.5km Ibara-Ita-Eko road in Abeokuta that cost a Satan pleasing, logic bewildering N1.3bn! shocked

ACN has zero to offer the SW as you have repeatedly shown with your alarming display of Neanderthal grunts in response to intellectual thrusts.
Its mind over matter, bro! grin

The good thing about we Deltans is that we are never in denial. Uduaghan will need fancy footwork not to join his cousin, Ibori.
We know how to take care of our shiit.

That said, PDP will field a solid candidate for 2015 and sweep the state again, as is the tradition. cool

Dude, puuuulease! We are talking about the strong prospects of PDP sweeping ACN under the carpet here.
Let it be clear to you that both the PDP and ACN ARE POLITICAL PARTIES NOT ETHNIC GROUPS.

We all have deep respect for the Yoruba as a proud ethnic group, but absolutely zero respect for NURTW and ACN. Seen?

Your tired and used attempts at ethnic blackmail are a failure. Lets go cerebral and moral, try to sell your party, instead of reeking ethnic bigotry, fascism and NURTW techniques.

Koruji is a deep embarrassment to all thinking people.
But bro, you are making the same error that the Gbawe's and Koruji's are trying to make fact in the SW, which is defining ACN as Yoruba land; it is not.

Yoruba land gave us the Awolowo's, Kuti's, Soyinka's, Fawehinmi's, Ajasin's, Jakande's, Tai Solarin's... Great men of epic proportions. What has ACN given us? A ragged bag of unshaven underworld gutter types led by a drug baron whose scraggy bearded lieutenent is the head of the extremists Tawun militant. It is squarely an ACN problem, a party more suited to NURTW methods than cerebral application (as evidenced by the unfortunate displays of Koruji and the two filthy moral mongrels just above this post).

sheyguy: Oga beaf, i still remember when this thread first started and how 'multiple User IDs' (probably from a fewer No. Of users) on NL were quick to label those who felt BH will take Mr. President's word to be a challenge and go on a mission to disprove him, called the OP names. Truth be told, i think the OP's stance back then has been proven right, as there has been an unusual rise in the BH attacks in the month of June. GEJ came out to make statements that would provoke BH to attack those he was suppose to protect when he knew fully well does not have what it takes to check BH's activities. The man is proving to be the most unfit and clueless president Nigeria has ever had than he can even pay his 'dawgs' to convince us otherwise. I hope Nigerians learn a thing or two.

You are one funny guy! You see why I keep calling you unbalanced? Lol!

You ask a man to defend ACN's inspired croaking about being progressives, only to deliver abysmal shambolism... And what do you get? Deranged religious quotes!
Perhaps ACN wrote Lev. 16:8,10,26. In Aregbe's jumbled World, the psychedelic is real.

I'm still waiting very patiently for an argument against this (amongst several others):

...
Aregbesola is full of gas and high stories.
Like I predicted with the "free farmlands," where the farmers got brutalised by Aregbesola's thugs for breaking the law as soon as the camera's were gone; so it will be with the harpless Osun state workers. Those farmers got the most thorough beating they had ever received, they were frightened off Aregbes "free farmlands" with the most vicious helpings of slaps, punches and drop-kicks they had ever witnessed.

Osun states workers have been victims of the many Aregbe experiments; owed two or three months wages through AregbeRASCALs tenure (while awaiting the miraculous dry season); this is yet another expensive experiment on the long suffering people. Its like guinea pigs in a madmans lab, watch out for the real drama in the next couple of months.
...
I refuse to accept that your inability to defend the leprosied performance of ACN outside Lagos is because you are suffering an intellectual malfunction. Evidence on the ground points very sternly to an endemic ACN malfunction instead. I believe this is what you are deeply ashamed of and unable to defend, hence your repeated resort to gutter and NURTW tactics, just like a poorly bred Neanderthal. embarassed embarassed embarassed
