Those for the total removal of the subsidy and slashing of NASS salaries say, aye! ![]() Lol! |
bayooooooo: I will only add that the journalist that penned this piece has not been sued for anything at all and no publication from presidency has demanded for any apology.Very strong rebutals have been issued, but I guess only one side of such rumours matter to some. Believe what you like, bro. I don't think anybody is in the business of convincing people these days. The wiser ones are seeing the light. Fairy tales are easy to make up for some. Anyway, enjoy your trip; for me, its Farouks day and I don't want to waste time arguing about a make believe World by those dissapointed that Farouk Lawan has been hooked. |
bayooooooo: Lawan is corrupt, he is a thief, he should be stoned. Agreed.Dude, you are spreading falsehood with your Malabu story. Anyway, that false story is from the same desperate, red-eyed, "2015 for North" source as Farouks masters and boko haram. Yar Adua's death and the lawlessness of the cabal is what led to the astronomic increase in the subsidy, do your homework. |
vanstanzy: BEAF I SERIOUSLY HOPE U'RE NOT CALLING ME "RANTING"?Sir! Which kain ves you de ves dis early morning na? Abeg, sorry for we. Na you I been de talk before, but I don change maut sharply. Fear kaaaaaash me di way you comot like lion! |
^ Thanks. Donxavier: . My take on GEJ is that he's compromised so he can't do anything. He's already sold his soul. Ever since he ditched the zoning formular to favour himself it's been downhill from there. Ofcourse Nigeria has always been corrupt, but the Level of Corruption now has reached stratospheric Levels under his watch and his inaction is the bane of the problem. Some are implying that doing away with the whole subsidy regime is the way to go. I want to ask a simple question, Doing away with the subsidy only closes that opportunity, the Corruption is the Root cause. If the subsidy was done without corruption it won't be a problem. Why can't we have stable electricity in this country? Simple reason Corruption. Solve the Power problem and Nigeria becomes a Great nation in 10yrs. So simple everyone can see it but why won't it happen.. Corruption. Transparency Int said they never dealt with the huge scales of scams coming out of Nigeria 2012. It has always been there but under Jonathan everything has shot up too stratospheric Levels. That's why everything is coming out now. It has become free for all looting. As much as I detest GEJ I would vote for him if and only if he solves the Power Problem in this country. If Obj says Buhari is an upright man, then there we have a man who would stop the corruption or at least have it reduced to the barest minimum. But it's like we like suffering in this country.Awuf is the root cause of corruption and oil is the root cause of awuf. The only way forward is ditch the subsidy entirely as GEJ suggested followed by the privatisation of all non-security critical areas of the oil sector. Until that day, any "battle" against corruption would be empty puffing of stale winds. As for corruption hitting stratospheric levels, thats simply your imagination playing tricks on you. GEJ is from the Niger Delta, therefore he has a personal stake and for the first time ever, he has opened the Aso Rock books for Nigerians to see what is really happening in the oil sector. Every President before GEJ used to take a heavy cut on every single shipment of oil out of the country. And the industry was a closed mafia. Instead of doing that Jonathan has opened your eyes, no expenditure is hidden anymore, but it seems Nigerians prefer to be lied to. Look at the kind of scum they took as a hero, just look at Farouk Lawan and weep at the pathetic sense of judgement of the average Nigerian. That guy was actually their hero! An agent of the cabal! Lets wait and see how this thing unfolds. I believe it will last at least a year, and I'm sure its going to be the year when the scales finally fall of the beleaguered eye of the citizen on the street. Right now, most are too caught up in their empires of ethnic and religious bigotries to see clearly. |
bayooooooo: Thank you for mentioning the constitution. Is FG being forced to send money every month to hypocrites? did the hypocrites write the constitution? Who are the vociferous voices calling for the complete overhaul of this constitution? Since it's a burden on FG to send money to states particularly the much discussed parasitic states and GEj will not convene SNC because it's unconstitutional, why can't he send bill to NASS to stop the allocation altogether? He can as well send such a bill and he will perfectly be within the armpit of law.Yes, the FG is forced to send money every month. Its written in the constitution. Also, please stop mentioning the PIB, because it is already in motion. So mentioning it doesn't make sense. As for sending a bill to the NASS to halt allocations? Lol! Nigerians love their awuf more than they love their mothers (witness the subsidy riots); stopping allocations will simply kick off World War III. lastly, GEJ's bill's do not automatically become law, the NASS votes on them and not rep or senator in the present system will vote to end allocations. They would rather die. Maybe you haven't heard they are the highest paid on the planet, so imagine telling them to hault the awuf train! ![]() |
bayooooooo: I have one question for you: who is holding the PIB in national assembly? Have you read the bill? Do you know what it offers for the oil producing communities? GEJ is not serious about improving the lot of his people if I can put it that way. Nothing will happen to that for the rest of his remaining 3 or 7years.Your so-called "vociferous" calls for fiscal federalism require that the FG give you even more money; it is simply a call to intensify the unitary system. That is the biggest statement of hypocrisy I've ever come across. If you truly want fiscal federalism, then you get your arse cracking and financially independent, not ask for more awuf. As for the PIB, it is good for the ND and it will be passed this year or next. Lastly, I will ask you a simple question: How can a President "convene a National Conference and dissolve the damn shit" without breaking the word of the constitution? The best that can be done is send bills to change the constitution, which is already being done. |
Katsumoto: Whilst I agree that Nigerians should hold their elected officials accountable, your position ignores the following:Wastage of whose resources? Be reminded that oil comes only from the ND, I'm certain that it is only the ND's resources that are being wasted. Ihat begs the question of whate other regions, states and LG's contribute. And since they get awuf (which they waste anyway) for simply sitting at home and fanning their arses; kindly tell me who is wasting the most, the FG that is giving to states and LG's or the states and LG's that are simply conduit pipes for awuf to flow into personal accounts? What has your state or LG done with its awuf? Katsumoto: 2. The government is responsible for tackling corruption and not ordinary Nigerians. Surely, you can't expect ordinary Nigerians to take the laws into their own hands.Last I heard, governor's are the chief security officers of their states. And the governors should be accountable to the people, if it isn't so, then there is a problem with the people who cannot demand the proper price for their vote. Why vote if its to make oneself a footstool to be spat on by all tiers of govt, but the FG? Katsumoto: 3. Since Nigeria runs a unitary style of government, most states and L.Gs are handicapped since they most wait for the government at the center to formulate and SUCCESSFULLY implement policy. That is patently false. Katsumoto: 4. Regardless of whether a country runs a federalist, unitary, confederationist, type of government, the federal government is ALWAYS responsible for setting macro-economic and micro-economic policies.Lets start from what states and LG's do with their awuf. Since they simply share it into their bank accounts and the people for some unfathomable reason fear to demand accountability for their vote, what would be the effect of any macro-economic and micro-economic policies? In fact, you have just pointed out one solid reason why Nigeria is failing. States and LG's are the real seats of corruption in Nigeria. These are places where people get elected to do fuckall and their electorate strangely look aside and blame the FG. Katsumoto: 5. Just as State and LGs have failed in providing essential and required services and infrastructure, the federal government must take the lion share of the blame. death traps on the roads, a murdering aviation sector, uncaring health and underfunded education sectors are all symptoms of an inefficient and ineffective government. You are muddling things up, bro. Aside from federal roads, all the stuff you mentioned is the responsibility of the state, LG or private sector. Its the usual "blame the FG" Nigerian disease. Katsumoto: 6. The Dogs in the middle and at the back in a dog-sled are dependent on the dogs in front to lead and guide them when in motion. If the leading dogs are useless, the trailing dogs equally become useless. This is at best grasping air to provide for the stark failures at LG and state levels and the alarming failure of the abysmally ignorant populace to demand a fair price for their vote. Katsumoto: I understand you always want to defend GEJ but surely, you have to realise that even performing administrators worldwide are not infallible let alone one that isn't performing. Is GEJ the reason your LG boss and governor are not developing your locality with the awuf they get? Or is he the reason why you refuse to demand accountability from your LG and state? What if there was no oil to exploit, would your entire state be on a UN food line? It is not too late to start campaigning for a change in attitude, bro. |
Turbocharged: The bolded is exactly what Otedola want to achieve. To rubbish the whole report. Smart guy.Why would Otedola want to achieve that when he has no business with subsidies? The man only imports diesel which is not subsidised; if you had watched the video, you would have heard Farouk himself say that. What is wrong with Nigerians and just commenting for the sake of it? Please lets stop these iya akara stories; they don't benefit anybody and make us seem like we lack self-application. |
^ Its entertaining, seeing you lie so forcefully! Lolz! Unfortunately for you, the World now recognises AregbeRASCAL as an unmitigated failure, megalomaniac, loudmouth and monumental error on the political landscape of the State of Osun! ![]() koruji: The interview was conducted more than a year ago when the governor was just settling down.Lol! Aregbe luv'n Koru - the unbalanced one! When Aregbe isn't in Lagos, he is slapping the innocent in the State of Osun! bayooooooo: Tainted and partial as the probe is, it has at least exposed one fact that what government is subsidizing is corruption and not fuel. That alone has proved Nigerian masses who protested against the removal of fuel subsidy right. Besides, a reasonable explanation has not been offered for the jump in subsidy funds of 2011 relative to 2010. That jump was not caused by Rilwan or Yar'Adua. It was under GEJ, supervisor EBELE! Rather than castigate Nigerian masses who protested against the removal of subsidy, they should be commended for their foresight. You can not use corruption to fight corruption. If subsidy is removed another cronies of GEJ will loot the funds with reckless abandon. This same GEJ was forced few years back to publicly declared his assets. Why has he refused to do so now? Is he hiding something? This same GEJ has been facilitating business for other "cabals" as per Malabu OPL 245 saga! To me, GEJ is the father of corruption in present day Nigeria. He merely set up greedy representathief Lawan to discredit the now worthless subsidy probe report. The so called "fideo" has been in existence for weeks and it's of recent that the saga now turned to a fast moving event with accusations and counter accusations. Perhaps If not for desperation of Lawan to turn the table against them by planning to bring cash to the House, nobody perhaps would have known about it now. Let's be watching, it remains to be seen if anything significant beyond go and sin no more will happen to Lawan.Dude, believe what you want; its what makes us keep getting phucked. Enough has been said and witnessed to open your eyes. People even died in #Occupy, used by El-Rufai. What for? Believe any fantasy you like like, bro. The circle will simply repeat. Nuff said. ![]() At times one gets tired of preaching the obvious. |
Koru-koru! The unbalanced one! ![]() |
Another myth busted! I'm enjoying this Jenson saga in a macabre sotta way! ![]() Button confirmed that the start point for this effort will be to work from Lewis Hamilton’s set up and then evolve from there, “The fist thing you do is set the car up like the other one and that’s how we’ll do it initially,” he said. “I won’t be as quick as him on those settings but then we can work from there and find a set up that works for me.”http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/2012/06/whats-happened-to-jenson-buttons-form/ The F1 press claimed Lewis couldn't set up a car and McLaren found it easier to work with Jenson; it became a myth that caught fire across the F1 firmament. This was even though McLaren emgineers maintained that while Jenson has a slow softly-softly approach, Lewis would go out, immediately find the limits of the car within a few laps and report areas for progress to the engineers. Jensons problems most likely stem from the fact that McLaren took the extraordinary step (favouritism?) of providing him with a special suspension and he had no one to copy set up from. |

PeterKbaba: Expo for exam hall lol... and this are the people Beaf keeps asking nigerians to vote for.Dude, your politics is simple and wooden headed. I see a picture you cannot see; if you open your eyes, you will see the picture too. It is a picture with profound depth; a picture that shatters every truth you know. Whenever you people come at me with shallow politics, its like mosquito's buzzing in my ears. Poibtless and irritating to listen to. Nigeria does not belong to the ethnically driven like you, bro. You will continue running in circles. |
mekaboy: THIS IS THE TIME FOR THE REAL OCCUPY NIGERIA, ITS TIME NIGERIANS COME OUT AND PROTEST TILL THIS CRIMINAL IS PUT IN JAIL, IF NOT THIS INVESTIGATION WILL GO ON THE NIGERIAN WAY AND NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. LET NIGERIANS DEMAND FOR JUSTICE AND YOU WILL BE SURPRISED THAT ALL THOSE THAT SECONDED RECEIVED BRIBE. GUESS WHAT? OTODOLA IS SMART, HE GAVE THE BRIBE AND THEY ALL SHARED, NOW THE WHOLE COMMITTEE OF SUBSIDY HAVE EATEN THE BRIBE, IF HE EXPOSES THEM NOW, THEY WONT WANT TO GO DOWN IN SHAME, SO THEY WILL HAVE TO DROP THIS SUBSIDY INVESTIGATION BEFORE FAROUK STARTS CALLING NAMES. When we told you #Occupy fools you were selling your damned souls to Lucifer and Baphomet, you thought it was a joke. Your soul belongs to the cabal, bro. Because your ears are deaf, your eyes are blind and your mind is dead to the truth. We warned you that you were fighting against the interests of your own future generations, but you responded with insults. Hug your Farouk Lawan, bro. He is Satans spurn, designed for your exclusive taste. Go and #Occupy stup!dly, as usual I'll be watching on TV. The price of your soul? N65.00 per Litre. |
DrugDoc: Good! When people turn their backs to logic and reason as presented by Sanusi and Okonjo Iweala, you get taken for a ride by a f--king rat head.Your post was my first ever use of the "like" button. During the fuel subsidy crisis, some of us screamed ourselves wretched that the people were falling for the biggest con; they decided to fight the oil cabals battles to enslave them with amazing vigour! Suddenly, GEJ, Deziani Madueke and Okonjo Iweala became public enemy number one for campaigning for the removal of the subsidy, because it was corrupt. In fact, the people did an acrobatic, logic defying 360 and decided that those who were calling for an end to the corrupt subsidy system were the guilty ones. Wonders! The Farouk Lawan picture is even worse than you have painted, because he was using the probe as a 2015 weapon against GEJ. That is why Otedola who imports only diesel which is not subsidised was blackmailed by Farouk. Nobody batted an eyelid when Rilwan Lukman, Nigeria's serial oil minister (and under whom the vast proportion of subsidy crime occurred) was not even as much as mentioned by Farouk and his impish gang. It was about destroying innocent people, while entrenching the interests of the oil cabal. 85% of indigenious oil blocks are owned by a few core-Northern elite. These oil wells were illegally given out by IBB, Abacha (with Buhari's connivance) and Adulsalam; the licenses are due to run out between 2016 and 2018 and they fear that the only way they can retain hold is by shifting power back to the "North." That is why politics has taken the shape of no holds barred warfare, with stuff like boko haram fully deployed to make the country ungovernable. There are less than 100 men in that clique, yet they make more money annually from oil than the entire Niger Delta. The Nigerian populace just likes life easy, so they never bother to look below the surface. They love rumours, so are easy to deceive. If this was a less serious matter, I would have opened several "I told you so!" threads by now, but lets just sit and wait with grim patience as truth after truth unfolds. |
