In other news; The great Nigerian Military wants to go and save the good people of Ivory Coast from oppression and peacefully prevent mass killing in that country. . .
That is the best way to deal with our internal security matters. Send all troublesome soldiers on peacekeeping missions far away from the country; that way they wouldn't be joining their kin to murder babies at in night in Jos. There is a new 10,000 strong army being built that is to take over from the partisan morafkers in Jos. The Jos troubles didn't start yesterday, but we have govt that is adept at playing a very intelligent long term strategic game. There is every indication that Jos will be solved this year. By the way, the 200 mentioned in the article is not from a single event, but the total since last months bombs. Its still a soul-wrenching figure though. |
It isn't a surprise that the author is from Bayero University. That place is a very fearful place to visit indeed, with streets named after Gaddafi and various other extreme leaders. Its inhabitants examine you in the scornful way they would a cockroach, because you simply do not belong; they view you as a scab on their desire for the stone age. Its like Afghanistan, Yemen or Pakistan, all rolled up in a Nigerian university. |
Everyone is happy to be rid of a parasite infection. If they want trouble, let them bring it on and see. 39 years of ruling only produced 10 million almajiri's and a useless economy. Fvk them. |
^ As houvest put it, you really have gone through a fake epiphany! Imagine ndu_cucks the unrivaled bigot of just a couple of months back now turning up in a brand new ethnically "tolerant" suit. Wonders! ![]() Thankfully, we know all your clever tricks. I'm sure you think folk would have forgoten who you are, because you spent a brief period away or signing on as something else. Dude, think again, and while you are at it, please stop pretending to be Igbo; choose a neutral name or own up to something like, Shehu Abdulkadr. Dan iska. |
houvest:Tell am jare! Meanwhile his real fires are burning closer to home. |
Gbawe:Isn't it clear you are just a jumped up agbero? You've always spoken from an ethnically bigoted position, so no real surprise. The greatest lesson of the present times is the one you keep foolishly ignoring, it is that ethnically bigoted politics is DEAD. Next time you wish to make caveman arguments, just ask Atiku and Ciroma where they lead. Dimwit. |
alj harem:Damn! Alhaji damn!!!! Ah aaaaaaaah! Ok please stop trying b4 pesin wound! www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 Lesson? Don't pick on petty issues that affect us all. |
jason123:I don't give a toss what you think. The lower your IQ, the less you can contribute to the country and the more your foolish opinions are disregarded. Regardless of your type, Nigeria will continue moving forward. . . And losers and lovers of corruption will continue belly-aching and nit-picking. It is a very good development that the minister is off to face charges. As usual, it was done in the quiet, calm and wise way that is GEJ's hallmark. Good development for the country. Dunce. |
Katsumoto:Ribadu wouldn't even capture his own LG. The only area where he has some grassroots support is the SW, but even that is very shacky; drivers, vulcanisers, carpenters and bricklayers will vote GEJ. |
1025:I know you are only pretending to be daft. It can't be real: ICPC Tuesday filed an eight-count charge against the Minister at a federal high court in Yola, capital of Adamawa state. What do you know? The above is actually in the article. Doh! |
I marvel at the really low IQ quite a few NLers display shamelessly. Instead of discussing real political issues, they crowd on someone elses wife. She isn't married to you, so whats your problem? Why leave aside crucial issues like politicians dealing in drugs below and sink to gutter levels discussing another mans wife? The trashy morality of some NLers really beats the crap out of me. ![]() www.nairaland.com/attachments/139268_BolaTinubuHeroinforfeiture_jpgb084d334c74cec7150ee9588a3aed2fc |
I'm not here to defend this woman but lets get something straight. Can you read well in your native language? If you're given a piece of paper containing an article written in your native language, can you read it well without faltering? One thing with Nigerians is that we like to always "overdo" foreign things to the detriment of our own ways. English is another country's native language which was lorded over us in the name of colonialism but sadly, our people have used the English language as a medium to sort of, gauge one's intellectual capacity. We wouldn't blink an eye if she can't speak her native Okrika language yet when she "can't read well" in English, it becomes an uproar. Colonial mentality, I say.
Its all about being whiter than the white man. It is indeed colonial mentality. |

GenBuhari: "I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria," Buhari said, quoted in press reports.- Gen. Buhari Buhari |
"I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria," Buhari said, quoted in press reports.- Gen. Buhari |
Abagworo: @beaf.I will say congratulations to Jonathan because with the way the voters registration has come to be fraudulent,PDP will sweep the election through rigging. My only prayer is that the masses do not take the law in their hands.Atahiru Jega is not in PDP, I don't see how voter registration by an independent INEC is JEG's business. In a free and fair election, even if the whole of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran and Saudi are allowed to register, Jonathan would still trounce Buhari; so whats the big deal about congratulations for the obvious? |
cap28:As usual, you are lying, but I think you are secretly in love with the woman. cap28:Dude, you sound like an under educated hunter. I prefer people who make sense. If as you claim, the stories are fabricated, why have you not been able to make the slightest dent in them? Instead you have gone on a tangent, with your usual madmans conspiracy theories, lying, justifying nepotism and criminality, as well as badmouthing another mans family to score cheap points like someone brought up without morals. Buhari is a bigot who wants to spread intitutionalise sharia across Nigeria. If you cannot disprove it, you are wasting my time. |
GenBuhari:Isn't it rich to ask for proof when I have provided a tonne of links to back up my words and you've provided exactly zero? Bros, posting heresay in big red capitals as you've been doing doesn't amount to proof na. ![]() Go over the last few pages and make a logical rebutal of the stuff I posted, if you can't do that, don't demand for more. Remember, my challenge to you to provide a single link where Buhari denies that he plans to institute sharia across Nigeria. After all these days, you still haven't come up with anything; doesn't that tell you the obvious that Buhari is every bit the wild eyed sharia monster I described? |
There is no permutation that ACN and CPC can make to win the elections. It just seems like a really tall dream; they just aren't ready. All the hopes for a PDP implosion or mass exodus have perished, because those who made the threats have done the raw calculations and found there is no place like home, so to speak. Any party that means to challenge the PDP is better of not giving posts to wives, girlfriends and family members. |
cap28:Are you in love with her or do you just lack manners and a proper upbringing? You do not attack a mans family to score cheap points. What next? Are you going to start insulting his kids? Shame on you. |
GenBuhari:You've been screaming this thing that is really of zero importance. I have provided you with enough pictures to show that the worst jihadists can have normal friends and family. You aren't making any point with this, its not like we even know if its true or not; we only know about his wife that died, we don't know anything about how many wives or concubines he has; so please spare us the story. Its neither here nor there, and it hasn't stopped him loving sharia and wanting to impose it on non-Muslims across Nigeria. |
GenBuhari:Kindly check the background of the author of the link. It will be illuminating. |
cap28:You are telling lies. |
Abagworo:You are politically naive. Do you think we still have military regimes where dictators could act with impunity? What Nigeria needs is JEG's coolheaded approach, it is the only way we can gradually move into the civilised World. There is no need for barbarians and extremists. |
I'm beginning to wonder at the Buhari supporters and the excuses they are giving for his corruption. Have any of you ever heard the word, nepotism? If so, do you know the meaning? Have you also heard the phrase, "due process?" If so, do you know its importance and place in legal frameworks? What I'm reading here is shameful and outrightly disgraceful. There is no excuse on Earth for Buhari to have employed his cousin as sole consultant to vet, approve, and dish out money in a multibillion govt trust fund. There is also no excuse for Buhari to have given away a PTF housing estate to his crony. You guy's really alarm me. If you see nothing wrong with such blatant corruption, how would you find the capacity to see wrong in the zealots plans to spread sharia across Nigeria or in his depositing of NNPC's $2.8billion in his fixed deposit account? How? |
@JP philips Please you would do the entire forum some good if you learn to summarise.
Word. ![]() @JP philips . . .And also post in normal font like everyone else. I don't bother to read half of what you write, because it is long, rambling and jarring to the eyes; and thats sad, cos you are you are quite sharp (unlike that native doctor called honeric01 ). |
debosky:The situation in Jos is sad and has been bad for some years now. There are horrendous crimes, but we aren't seeing deaths in the high hundreds like was the norm a couple of years back. |
Nigeria's presidency asks minister to resign over graft charges News - Africa news .Minister of State for Health, Suleiman Bello-Nigeria - Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan has asked the Minister of State for Health, Suleiman Bello, to resign, following allegations he received 11.2 million naira (US$75,000) bribe while serving as a Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in northern Adamawa state in 2007. The private Nation newspaper reported Wednesday that the Minister had been asked to step down so he can defend the charges against him by anti-corruption Independent Corrupt Practices and Other related Offences Commission (ICPC) ICPC Tuesday filed an eight-count charge against the Minister at a federal high court in Yola, capital of Adamawa state. He is expected to be arraigned Monday. Pana 26/01/2011 http://www.afriquejet.com/news/africa-news/nigeria's-presidency-asks-minister-to-resign-over-graft-charges-2011012668927.html |
Kobojunkie:You must be a dunce. Just about two years ago, the nation almost ground to a halt because of attacks on oil infrastructure, today there is relative peace. |
Mobinga:Dude, I am very dissapointed with the quality of your questions. I'm sure you can do better with a little effort. |
honeric01:I would have thought by now you would be rotting away at okija. Bushman like you. Weren't you the one begging to take your leave this morning cos you claim not to be on the net 24/7? Its so strange that in all the time I've been away, you've been filling the web with more rubbish. Take a break man, you are beginning to sound as thuggish as sharia lord Buhari. I have thrown a challenge that remains open until now. Instead of blarbing stupeedly, can you provide a link to a statement were the jihadist Buhari denies that he doesn't plan to establish sharia across Nigeria? It is simple enough. If you can't do that, I would advice that you go home and take your pills, instead of hopping around like a red eyed, mushroom brained supporter of APC and wasting your life with ritualist prayers like an apprentice winsh.
