Beaf,

Buhari is not corrupt and u know it!

Buhari is Nigeria's only anti-corruption leader

54 items you keep mentioning did not belong to Buhari and was coming into Nigeria not going out of Nigeria.

Buhari did not impose Sharia when he was in power - stop scaremongering
Whoever said the suitcases were leaving the country? It was money that was being shipped in illegally to beat the so called trap Buhari himself had set for thieves. While he was busy shooting innocent men and jailing the likes of Fela for bringing in his own legitimate money; he sent his aide-de-camp to personally ferry the money from Murtala Muhammed Airport straight to his office. What do you define as corruption?

His aide-de-camps words and version of the story have been committed to writing, just as have Buhari's.
As for Buhari being a religious crackpot that dreams of spreading sharia across the whole of the country, can I ask you why he has NEVER denied it? I challenge you to provide a denial from Buhari himself that he doesn't plan to spread sharia across Nigeria.

With what you post continuously on NL, i know more than half of NL members will doubt your "my genuine battle for the progress of the country" statement.

You are the one who have and is continuing sinking so low just to paint other aspirant with bad brush, you want them all to be seen as being on the same level with your master GEJ, with truth, lies and rumors mixed together to confused the gullible.

You have come with your natural rubbish again, so because i support Buhari, that automatically means i am a Muslim? i repeat you are a liar and it keeps smelling all over you, if Buhari didn't install sharia on Nigerians when he was a military head of state with ABSOLUTE powers, how's he going to do that now that we have house of assembly/representatives?

We have more Christians now than before, we have more media attention now that before, so how's he going do install sharia all over Nigeria? please start thinking right and stop sounding like an average American who thinks America is the only place humans live in.

Lol, i thought you said thanks to my prayers? why turn around like an average Nigerian politician to say i am cursing like a Babalawo? grin grin grin grin grin, you're a BIG hypocrite and it smells all over you grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

What if after everything, Buhari ends up as the Nigerian president, what are you going to do? hug a wet transformer or drink a liter of battery acid? undecided

I repeat, you are a big time rumor monger and a big criminal at large, you keep twisting and turning the gullible, too bad those are the ones you can continue fooling, not someone like me.

Can a Muslim fanatic ever marry a christian whom they consider an infidel?
How many Christians did Buhari kill when he was the HOS?
Can a Muslim fanatic go to to redeem camp just as GEJ and the likes?

What if he ends up having a christian person as his running mate, are you still going to keep yelling about sharia? undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

You just showed me the backwardness and ugliness of your sad little mind. Imagine waking up to curse someone and their entire family in the morning, becauuse you are beholden to a religious bigot who is also a thief and a murderer!
Most people on NL are serious and cultured, but here you are as an apprentice jassman. What a fool!

You are one unrefined donkey that should be in the zoo with a picture of Buhari on one side of your cage. You are as unrefined as your primitive idol, Buhari the Neanderthal.

Instead of contributing sensibly, you are attempting to derail the thread with braindead input. I am surprised you haven't accused Obj of being the pilot. Nonsense.

@topic
It should be fairly easy to narrow down the culprit by eliminating all all planes and choppers that could possibly have overflown Enugu. What is most worrying about the development is that Enugu is a major military base, the home of the 82 Brigade and an airforce base; it is highly suspicious that any strange aircraft can overfly the state without being shot down (or some attempt made to that end); therefore, the question of military involvement must be asked.
The retrieval of the bomb just might sort quite a few similar problems.

@jen33

You are arguing with door-knobs and people with such low self-esteem they are afraid to take the smallest peek outside (talk less of stepping out) because it is dark. Its no easy task to argue with such types.

The same people would sing the loudest wooden-headed songs about how wretched the Zim economy is; it is the unending anthem of our miseducated, unthinking "middle class" hoards. The one thing they have forgotten is to compare the quality of life of the average Zimbabwean with theirs:

The Zimbabwean govt provides services that the average Nigerian can only dream off. They actually have an emergency number anybody can call if their vehicle breaks down on the road; and surprise! Someone will actually turn up to fix it, in Nigeria; the best you'll get is armed robbers or kidnappers.
While we struggle with the perennial problem of the Lagos-Benin expressway, Zim has a World-class road network.
Today, privatisation of PHCN is all the rage, that alongside the yearning for 12 hours of electricity; but the average Zimbabwean gets about 5 times the amount of electricity the average Nigeria gets, yes, they have 24/7 supply.
While we are burdened with 10 million almajiri's, Zimbabwe's literacy rate is 90%.
Zimbabwe is also a net exporter of manufactured goods, while oil is our be all and end all.

Is it any surprise why Nigeria is owned by Shell, while Zimbabwe has successfully seized freedom from the imperialists?
Is it any surprise why why they walk tall, but we hobble along from Boko Haram to Jos to "consensus candidates," all the time pointing fingers at our better off neighbours?
These folk have what I call, "the wisdom of the blind." They point, because oyibo says, point; laugh, because oyibo says, laugh; jump, because oyibo says, jump.

No matter how strong the foundation, if any road lacks maintenance, it will go the way of Sagamu-Benin expressway. Weeds grew on the road shoulders and weakened it in certain sections and made it susceptible to erosion. Then hydrological conditions have also changed beyond the forecast on which the design was premised. Large tonnage carrying trailers also contributed to it since we do not have tonnage restriction policy for our highways. Every nonsense is on the road. A routine maintenance culture/policy would have addressed all this.
You have a point, but until we develop our railways and inland waterways, the roads will continue to carry heavy tonnage traffic, especially major artteries like Benin-Lagos. With that in mind, we need to predict for the worst heat buckling, hydrological conditions, load-bearing capacities etc, and throw conglomerates, steel and concrete to create a fairly indestructible foundation. That is the only way we can have any success with that stretch of road.

We could ally the above with moving timber trucks permanently of the road, unto specially constructed waterways which are much cheaper to construct and maintain than road or rail; you have rightly pointed out that there are problems with our planning.

Mitochondrial DNA phylogeny of the Old-World monkey tribe Papionini.
Disotell TR, Honeycutt RL, Ruvolo M.

Department of Anthropology, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Abstract
The evolution of the Old World monkey tribe Papionini, composed of macaques, baboons, mandrills, drills, and mangabeys, was examined using mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) sequence data on the cytochrome oxidase subunit II gene. When analyzed cladistically, these data support a baboon clade of savannah (Papio) plus gelada (Theropithecus) baboons, as well as a clade containing drill (Mandrillus) plus mangabey (Cerocebus) genera. This result stands in opposition to most morphological phylogenies, which break up the baboon clade by placing Papio and Mandrillus as sister taxa and Theropithecus as a more distantly related lineage. Analyses of COII gene sequences also suggest that the papionin ancestral stock divided into two lineages, one leading to macaques and the other to the purely African genera. From a molecular evolutionary perspective, the papionin COII gene sequences reveal a pattern of amino acid replacements concentrated in the regions spanning the mitochondrial membrane.

Received 23 March 1998;  revised 20 January 1999;  accepted 10 April 1999. ; Available online 9 April 2002.

Abstract
The phylogenetic relationships among the genera of the tribe Papionini are inferred using a taxonomic congruence approach in which gene trees derived for eight unlinked genetic sequence datasets are compared. Population genetics theory predicts that species relationships will be revealed with greater probability when the topology of gene trees from many unlinked loci are found to be congruent. The theory underlying this approach is described.

Monophyly of the mangabeys is not supported by any of the gene trees; instead, they are polyphyletic with Cercocebus found to be the sister taxon toMandrillus in five gene trees (with no conflicting trees), and Lophocebus found to be closely related toPapio and/or Theropithecus in all trees. Theropithecus and Papio are not strongly supported as sister taxa (present in one or two trees only);Lophocebus and Papio are supported as sister taxa in the majority of trees. A close relationship between Mandrillus and Papio is not supported in any of the trees.

The relationships among Papio, Lophocebus, and Theropithecus cannot be resolved by congruence, probably due to the short time interval estimated between their divergences. The mtDNA COII sequences are used to estimate divergence dates within the papionins. The internode between the divergences of these species is estimated to be between 290 ka and 370 ka. Lastly, the evolution of morphological features such as long faces, suborbital facial fossae, and terrestrial skeletal adaptations is discussed.

The fact remains that the luggage did not number 53 suitcases, but 53 separate items some of ehich were suitcases, that belonged to an extended family including several wives and dozens of children, and that even handbags were reported as suitcases.

Fact also remains that the suitcase were coming into Nigeria and not going out.

Funny guy! You thought you could fool people here. Olodo.
Why did you remove the most telling part of the article, which says it was sent by Adisa from Ibadan? If not that you want to fool people into believing it was vetted by an editorial process?

Dude, how are we sure it wasn't you that posted that crap personal opinion just so you could start another crap and dishonest article? Mods need to crack down on such rubbish. If you are posting a personal opinion, you should make it abundantly clear or risk being labelled as you now are.

Yes, he appointed him and after the dude ended up being caught, for fear of being persecuted, he committed suicide the Japanese, Chinese style. to commit suicide for a offense like that means he was totally caught hands down and knew what was going to happen to him, knowing who Buhari is.

Appointing him is not the issue, the issue is what happens if the person he appoints misbehaves, did you see how covering any of his worker's corrupt practices?

Can you say that of the current corrupt criminals in our government now? can you say that of Alarms, bode George, Igbinedion, ODILI, Ibori, Mba e.t.c? most of these people still justify what they do daily.

Now to that link, is that the link to the 54 suitcases you claimed got stolen by Buhari? how come no one has been able to detect where the money was sent to? we know where Abacha money was lodged, that of Ibori, Tafa e.t.c, how come his own can't be traced? how come the money you claim he stole can't be seen on him? (seen on him in shapes of houses, cars, wives, companies, e.t.c)?

Can you link a particular company to him that indicates he must have stolen to have something like that? one more thing, where was the money sent to? and who was there to count the 54 suitcases? why hasn't the person persecuted him since? and why hasn't all the past government persecuted Buhari if truly he stole?
You do not appoint your "own cousin the sole consultant for monitoring and assessing  the value of contracts" for a multibillion trust fund?!!. . . Except you wanna STEAL.

It is even worse, the man got himself busy giving out govt estates in underhand deals:

Do you know PTF estate in Wuse? The sweetheart deal that Buhari's PTF made with the contractor was so sweet. Not only would the contractor collect rent from PTF, but after 8 years, the place would be his to own!

For the suitcases, see my most recent post above; Alhaji Jokolo is still alive and kicking. cool

GenBuhari:
The 54 "suitcases" belonged to Atiku - yes the presidential aspirant Atiku.
It had nothing to do with Buhari.

According to the Buhari interview with Sahara Reporters, Atiku was returning from abroad with his whole family which included several of his wives and many more children, all bags including the wives' handbags were all counted as suitcase in the mischivious press reports.

The fact remains that Atiku was coming into the country not leavng the country, whether the suitcases stuffed with cash or not is not known and if the money had been stolen it was unlikely to have been stolen from Nigeria during Buhari's watch.

If this half baked romour is all the "proof" you have against Buhari , then you have to admit you are snatching at straws (you cannot find anything on him.

The link you posted was one person's opinon,, probably a relative of on of the hundreds of corrupt politcians imprisoned by Buhari's government
Where did you get this Atiku story from? The money belonged to Buhari's uncle.

Atiku happened to be the customs officer in charge at MMA on that day and he siezed the money. Buhari's reaction was to personally send his aide Major Major Jokolo to straigten Atiku and escort the money straight from the airport to state house.

The Emir of Gwandu was too pious and as such was at liberty to bring in his 53 suitcases. While the people importing contrabands were predominantly from the North, only the few from the South were arrested and prosecuted. Alhaji Jokolo, the current Emir of Gwandu and son of the then Emir recently said his father only brought back 12 suitcases and not 53. Jokolo, a former colonel in the Nigeria Army said it was General Buhari who instructed him to go to the airport to receive his father, the then Emir. Mustapha Jokolo acknowledged that several suitcases were taken straight from the aircraft to the State House. He said those were for the Chief of Protocol, Dahiru Waziri. They were all in the government of Mohammudu Buhari but Buhari did not put them on trial for bringing contraband goods into the country or for disobeying the law by not taking their luggage through the normal process of inspection. Even Buhari's brother was on that same entourage of the Emir of Gwandu, but all of them are neck and shoulder above the law, and the war against indiscipline does not affect them; they are above such petty laws that were made for commoners and Southerners.

The Emir of Gwandu was Buhari's uncle and Major Jokolo's father. Major Jokolo was to later become Emir of Gwandu, but was deposed in 2005.

Confused individual.

Why are you going to free yourself from this clouded way of reasoning. You are the same individual claiming GEJ is rebranding PDP and yet another senatorial primaries winner is about to be denied that same right that was accosted to Godfather GEJ in favour of a known murderer. I now believe the statement that claims " PDP is a den of killers and Thieves"

And yet you see nothing wrong with it.
The article is a personal opinion which any donkey could have put there, but is being made to look like something else. Do you deny it, or do you just wish to win a medal for talking crap?
The army have always been dominated by mostly tribes within the north central region and they do not necessarily translate to hausa or fulani.
The bulk of non commissioned officer's are from Benue and Plateau, but demographics at the officer level is very heavily weighted in favour of the Hausa Fulani and that bias gets worse as the ranks get higher.

Dude, your link clearly says "opinion." So you are simply posting a personal opinion, not something the newspaper published. It is possible you even put it there yourself. Who are you trying to fool, but yourself?
