Bauchi is not a Christian state in the North, areas such as Toro (close to Jos) might have Christian majority which I doubt, the majority of the people in Bauchi are muslims.
You are right, I wrote Bauchi by mistake, they have a large Christian population, but are majority Muslim.

Do they eat acid in the North? Or do you actually know what fuels the country? Please, I am not interested in ignorant discussions. This bombing is part of Nigerian religious system which people have been made by Whites and Arabs to believe wholeheartedly in scripts written and imposed on us by them. The sooner we view religion like the White creators as liberal the better for us.
You can dream on. No failed leader with a connection to sharia or Boko Haram will ever rule this country again. Nobody with extremist views will ever sit over Nigerians again. Let religious fanatics keep bombing, you people will know who feeds you.

We have a functional constitution. It may be faulty in some places or you may not accept sections of it.
But it not being enforced at all.

A constitution is open to ratification by the lawmakers. You have corrupt inept people who are not even conversant with the content of the constitution they are upholding.
Until we kick out corrupt govts and politicians through credible elections, we are wasting our time.

Let me remind all of that you're supposed to have a copy of (at least) the 1999 constitution in each of your households before you come to claim in a public forum that Nigeria has no laws.
Maybe you can tell us why the Nigerian constitution is 310 pages long, while the American one is just 22?
310 pages of directionless crap forced down our throats by illiterate soldiers!

Which is better, the American consititution that is just 22 pages long and packed with principles and ideology, or the 310 page Nigerian one that is full of useless controlling crap? What do you think gave us our ramshackle govt style?

Paste the Nigerian constitution into MS Word using Times New Roman font at 12pt, then do the same for the US constitution:

A country based on a crap constitution will be only amount to a chaotic mound of crap.

The Ivorian army that is causing becomerich to soil his pants will fall and capitulate in a few days. It is so weak that it is laughable, if not for the French that stopped the rebels, the stunning victories that saw more than half the country fall to them would have swept to the Coast. The French planted their army between both sides and stopped the war, otherwise there would be no Gbagbo today.

ECOMOG will simply join forces with the rebel North, land massive troops in Bouake, as well as attack in a pincer movement from the sea. Easy pickings, couple of days, job done. cool

Ivory Coast doesn't even have an airforce. shocked

The problem is nobody enforces the law or constitution.
Because of this very few people go in to see d content of what is indeed d law in Nigeria.

I hope you are clear on that.
You have toilet roll that was forced down your throat by soldiers. Nigeria's consitution might well have been written by an almajiri. It has so many pages packed with crap, rather than being a short crisp document that encapsulates the country's principles and ideology as obtains in the civilised and progressive World.

What is Nigeria's ideology or philosophy, do you know?
It even sounds bloody funny to imagine Nigeria with an ideology.

They are siphoning money at the rate they are doing it because an average Nigerian ruler, behind the scene will tell you he doesn't know whether there will be Nigeria tomorrow, so get as much as you can today, whatever happened tomorrow is fine. Hence once they get the money, instantly the money is sent abroad. Did you see the asset Gov Fayemi declared? He has more assets in Ghana than he had inside Nigeria and he is not alone. If you suspect that a bank may go under tomorrow, will you invest your money in it?

2011: IBB writes Nwodo again
Yusuf Alli 01/01/2011 02:46:00

Despite pressure on him not to quit, ex-President Ibrahim Babangida yesterday wrote a letter to the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, indicating his formal withdrawal from the presidential primary election of the party.

The withdrawal from the race by the ex-President dealt a blow to the Plan B by some members of the Northern Political Leaders Forum who have been mounting pressure on Babangida and two others to go for the PDP’s screening of the presidential aspirants in case the North’s consensus candidate, ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, is disqualified in the last minutes.

But there were strong indications that the Presidential Screening Committee of the PDP might be announced on Monday after a meeting with the campaign directorates of President Goodluck Jonathan, ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Mrs. Sarah Jibril and Adamu Dutsinma.

In Babangida’s letter, which was dated December 31, 2010 and exclusively obtained by The Nation, he said he is withdrawing from the race in line with the consensus arrangement put in place by the Northern Political Leaders Forum(NPLF).

The letter reads: "This letter submits for the kind consideration and approval of the National Working Committee of our great party-the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria (PDP), a request to withdraw from all the processes leading to and including PDP primary elections scheduled for January 13, 2011.

"You will recall that in September 2010, I had completed and submitted the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms in accordance with the provisions of the electoral guidelines set out by the party.

"As a result of the consensus arrangement to which I voluntarily and willingly subscribe, I write to inform you of my decision to withdraw forthwith from all the processes leading to the selection and emergence of our party’s presidential flag bearer.

"Whilst extending my highest regards to your good selves and the party, I wish to convey my gratitude to the party for the opportunity given me to express my interest in the first place."

It was learnt that Babangida might have shunned pressure from some members of the NPLF to go for the screening of the presidential aspirants of the PDP as part of Plan B in case Atiku is disqualified.

A source, who spoke in confidence, said: "Babangida has repeatedly maintained that he is a man of his word and will stick to the consensus arrangement.

Saraki dumps PDP
Our Reporter 01/01/2011 02:49:00

Prominent Nigerian politician and leader of the Northern Union (NU), Dr. Olusola Saraki, has dumped the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State.

he elder statesman, however, did not announce the party that he and his supporters would defect to, saying that would soon be made public.

Dependable sources, however, said the politician would publicly declare the choice of his party to his supporters tomorrow (Sunday).

The politician, popularly known as Olooye, made his decision to dump the PDP known shortly after receiving the National Chairman of the All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP), Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, in his GRA home in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

He said: "The door of the PDP has been locked against me. I cannot enter. And by their law, when that door is locked, there is no way to enter it unless you want to break it. But I don’t want to break it, as I am a law-abiding person. The law of PDP is so dry, and once it is applied, it is very difficult to cross.

"When I met President Goodluck Jonathan, I told him I was leaving the party. The PDP says congresses can only be run by delegates and delegates have been determined before the ward congresses in the state.

"I have left the PDP and anybody who believes in me will follow me to another party. But my absence from home gave them a lot of chance to do all this, considering how the party was taken over by us and considering how we have been managing it.

"They have locked the door, so that another candidate cannot get any delegates to support him. So, what is the point in putting your head into it? So, the best thing is to leave, and that is why I left. Some people just sit somewhere to prevent others from entering the door."

Dr. Saraki had earlier told the ANPP chairman that the masses of the state were earnestly waiting for him to declare for his next choice party.

Sounding emotional, he said: "My son, Bukola, spent a lot of time in Abuja helping the late President Umaru Yar’Adua to stabilise his government, leaving the PDP to be run by others at home. Those people have done a lot of damage to his government.

"Please, join me to pray to God to bring my son back home for me."

Stop wasting your time. What is going on in Nigeria today is bigger than Jonathan, or south or north. Nigeria is in a bad shape and as great citizens of Nigeria, we should all be looking to embrace anything that will dig us out of this hell hole, and absolutely not praising a confirmed failure.

Clearly Jonathan isn't the man: it will only make our country a better place if we all face the fact and allow true leaders to take us back to the top, where we want to be.

Crying behind Jonathan only makes one looks f00lish.
FYI: America hates bombing more than anything, with time Jonathan will completely lose the support of USA.
We shall see. If you go to market, be ready for the goods on display.

Nobody is preaching violence, noone has the time.
Nigeria happens to be in a very fragile state, and with a weak leader violence is inevitable.
Let's face the fact, Jonathan has never managed anything through out his career, every position he finds himself is given to him by luck.

Unfortunately, What we are experiencing in Nigeria today requires a qualified and well experienced leadership.
It is obvious that Jonathan isn't this leader, he knows this fact more than anyone else.

For the love of God, Mr. president should just be kind enough and step aside.
It will only be great for our country if we all come together as one and ask this great Nigerian to step down before it's too late.
Just tell your people that they have bought violence and it will be delivered.
