mystikal:Nah! He is the most exciting f1 driver currently. He makes the circuit tick! In the first 3 or 4 races this season, Lewis accounted for more than half of all successful overtaking moves. Dude is a blistering talent! Vettel would have been another great, but as we've seen again today, he lacks overtaking finesse. I don't want to believe he can only win from poll. My other exciting drivers are Alguersuari, Kobayashi, Kovaleinen (since he left McLaren) and Sutil. |
MRbrownJAY:That must be my bad, cos I just heard Jenson say he'd been advised to save fuel right from the start. Although, it still seem really fishy that right after the Lewis repass, he immediately fell backward. . . In my books, it could only have been due to fresh team orders or reinforcement of previously "misinterpreted" team orders. |
seanet02:Check the bolded part of my post (reposted again below, just for your benefit. Halliburton? ==shakes head in sadness== If only, reading had been your easiest skill, you wouldn't be practising needless rudeness now. . . .And the user name is Beaf, not beef. Thank you. Beaf: |
There is no way South Africa will not demand land reforms like Zimbabwe has (an successfully too). Malema has been a worthy tool in the hands of the ANC to see how far that push can go. The Western press has dissipated their energy going after Malema and unwittingly brought racial prejudice and equalities back to the front burner of World public opinion. South Africa must now be brave enough to take the bit between the teeth and go full thrust into land reform. Blacks are suffering as second class citizens on their own land. Zimbabwe waited 15 years, SA has now waited 20 years, when will the long suffering townships cry, uhuru? Guess what? Zimbabwe's economy shocked the West by growing by a stunkin' 4% last year. South Africa can take solace from that, their economy is in greater shape than Zims ever was to take on the challenges of land reform; also, the Worlds financial driving seat has moved several degrees east. |
Interesting development at Red Bull! Mark Webber has just said that he was told to turn his engine down, while Vettel was told to turn his engine up. . . And the lap times seem to bear him out, as while throughout the race Webber had been comfortably faster than Vettel, in the last 3 laps before the accident, Vettel suddenly speeded up while Webber slowed down. . . .Red Bull might be the beast that devours itself this year. . . .Em, Lewis also claims he was told to slow down to save fuel (we heard the radio call), Button claims he was never told to save fuel. Maybe McLaren would be following Red Bulls path of self destruction. Controversy, controversy, controversy! |
Simple solution, scrap the state. Merge it with Ekiti (another state waiting to blow up) and Ondo. There are too many states in Nigeria. Why create states that can't fund themselves? Whats the rationale? |
MRbrownJAY:Naa! Buttons behaviour was underhand and the sort of thing that can cause bad blood within the team. Both McLarens had been ordered to kill their speed, so it should have been a procession to the finish. Button tried to be sneaky where his talent was innadequate, so its good that Lewis immediately showed a very strong hand. As for Alonso, I see cracks appearing between him and the team. How can a driver slate his team so much by saying that 12th was the best position Ferarri could attain (even though his team mate was 8th)? . . .And he is talking about Ferarri of all teams? Alonso is a talented driver, but with a gutter character. His statement comes next only to Vettels sin. |
osifred:Very interesting. . . And our verbal medicine man and native doctor, Gbawe has been blaming Jonathan for harrassing Duke! Damn! How could truth be so elastic? Gbawe: Precisely . Add charisma and panache to the list as well. Duke has been ruffling feathers to no end of late . I doubt he has anything to hide because he is acting more like Gani Fawenhinmi of late . Speaking vehemently against the PDP and Jonathan (more or less calling him a coward) during the recent cabal hijack of the Nigerian Presidency means , in Nigeria's where politics of blood and vengeance overrides good governance, Duke must now pay for his "insolence". Gbawe, hellooo! Reality must be a difficult thing to maintain! Abi you wan takeover tales by moonlight? |
This post is sooooo funny! As long as they can tuck in their shirts and wear undershirt necklaces, all the suggestions will make no dent on the "roger" tradition. |

Vettel committed the greatest sin in f1. How do you crash with your team mate during a race? How? The end result is that he has lost out again, net gap to Webber is now 15 points and McLaren now lead the constructors. Expensive! Of course he'll now get the required bollocking from his team, the press. . . And us. Foolish boy! |
Nice one to Lewis. He is now fully back in contention, in fact I predict another Lewis year. ![]() Button tried to do a "Vettel", but Lewis showed whose boss! ![]() |
I must apologise for actually not updating this topic for a couple of races. The trend seems to be that while Webber is gaining ascendance, Vettel has lost his mojo; his car (currently Randy Mandy) just didn't do it for him again. Lewis is back to his fiery best. Did you guy's see the way he floated that McLaren around the cirquit at pant wetting speeds? monkeyleg:The bolded successfully describes a country that has produced Boko Haram; is one of the Worlds top oil and gas producers, yet imports fuel and has a sad history of long fuel queues and near zero electricity. It is a country that has 9 million almajiri's, yet has produced multi-billionaires from "leaders" like Abacha, IBB, Ibori etc, through their illicit relationships with our state coffers. . . I could go on and on. |
Gbawe: My friend, desist from spreading rumours and formenting BS. Mr Duke himself has told you he was never arrested, all that happened was some dudes enforcing a court ruling. How does that square with any of the wild and irresponsible claims you made above? How, Charlie. . . How? |
Kobojunkie:Doesn't the bolded sound funny to you? "Breadbasket of Africa"?! Has the beans that iya akara uses to concoct her recipe ever come from Zim? Or is yam for dundu or cassava for usi from Zim? Is the corn in guguru from Nsukka or Zim? The above already rules out 25% of Africa's population (Nigeria). Your post does not state your position, so one could assume the sensible option that you are mocking the hollowness of the article you quoted. "Breadbasket of Africa!" Indeed! What would we call neighbouring agro heavyweight countries like Mauritius, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa (produces 9 times more corn than Zim The quote below gives actual figures to Zimbabwes food production up till the early 2000's (even though its another biased article); In the early 1990s, drought severely affected the output of every crop except tobacco. Corn, wheat, cotton, oilseed, coffee, and sugar outputs all declined by at least 75%. Tobacco production in 2001 was 172,111 tons. Corn production in 1999 totaled only 1,520,000 tons, down from 2,609,200 tons in 1996. In years with adequate rainfall, Zimbabwe is one of Africa's largest corn exporters.http://www.nationsencyclopedia.com/Africa/Zimbabwe-AGRICULTURE.html This is the encouraging picture of Zimbabwe's growing economy as painted by the US State Dept.; GDP (2009 IMF est.): U.S. $3.6 billion.http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/5479.htm |

Watch the paedophile Yerima walk by at the beginning of the video below as Gbenga Aruleba gives info on the bastar'ds monthly income. It is a well known fact that Nigerian politicians are the highest paid in the whole World. It is also well known that Nigeria is built on corruption and blatant oil theft; do you yet see the connection with our politicians pay packets? . . .Palms need to be "legally" greased to open the way for the maintainance of cabals and conduits of illicit wealth need opening (such as, the distribution of oil blocks as patronage, sale of govt infrastructure like transformers etc. . . ) The blind eye is being paid for! Rubbish "laws" need to be written and fine tuned to perpertuate a rotten, inept and wicked system that habors paedophile law makers. MyJoe:Food basket? With cash crops, like tobacco and flowers? Charlie, are you a joker or just practicing to be one? Why is it that we Africans are suffering such an immense identity crisis that we never attempt to sift wheat from chaff? Anything derogatory the Western press says about us, some of us are willing to echo to incredible decibel levels without a thought. . . .Unbelievable! I need panadol, I have a headache! |

Zimbabwe grows for first time in 11 years By Tony Hawkins in Harare Published: May 26 2010 16:54 | Last updated: May 26 2010 16:54 Zimbabwe has recorded its first year of economic growth for more than a decade, a report from the International Monetary Fund said. Gross domestic product rose 4 per cent last year, the first expansion in 11 years, while prices rose 6.5 per cent. In previous years, by contrast, inflation was measured in millions of per cent and the country’s economy regularly shrank 5-10 per cent. But the IMF gave a generally downbeat assessment of the state of the country’s economy, urging the coalition government led by Robert Mugabe, the president, to adopt reforms or risk long-term stagnation. In its base case scenario, the IMF projects annual growth of less than 1.5 per cent until 2015. Zimbabwe needs “a significant improvement” in its business climate, says the IMF, notably by enforcing property rights, seeking international debt relief and enforcing labour laws. Mr Mugabe has damaged investor confidence by promising to enforce a law requiring all foreign or white-owned companies with assets above $500,000 (€408,500, £348,000) to hand over 51 per cent of their shares to “indigenous” Zimbabweans. The IMF warns about public finances, saying Zimbabwe is in “debt distress” with $4.6bn of arrears, a sum which can realistically be cleared only with agreed debt relief. The government should tighten its fiscal stance by some 3 per cent of GDP and reimpose cash budgeting on ministries, which has been allowed to lapse. The key challenge is to trim public sector wages by 1 per cent of GDP by laying off workers. The IMF says that with its “active policy” reform scenario, annual growth should accelerate to 5 per cent. But government ministers are instead predicting highly optimistic double-digit rates of growth. The central problem is the fragile political situation: the coalition government brings together Mr Mugabe’s Zanu-PF party with its former opponent the Movement for Democratic Change, led by Morgan Tsvangirai, the prime minister. Parts of the administration are virtually paralysed, rendering it difficult to implement unpopular reforms, such as public sector retrenchments, spending cuts and possibly a wage freeze. Mr Tsvangirai has already rejected a wage freeze, while ministers loyal to Mr Mugabe oppose seeking debt relief under the Heavily Indebted Poor Country initiative (HIPC). They believe Zimbabwe’s mineral wealth, especially gold, platinum and diamonds, is sufficient to cover its debt arrears – an assessment the IMF rejects. , Mugabe remains central obstacle to economic reform Zimbabwe’s coalition government, filled with bitter political foes, has returned the country to economic growth but failed to preside over any real reforms. In theory, Robert Mugabe, the president, governs with Morgan Tsvangirai, the prime minister and leader of the Movement for Democratic Change. In practice, analysts believe true power still lies with 86-year-old Mr Mugabe. He has simply overridden Mr Tsvangirai’s objections and introduced a law that deters investment by compelling the transfer of ownership of foreign and white-owned companies. Economic stabilisation owes much to the abandonment of the national currency after years of hyperinflation. But this decision, taken in January last year, predates the birth of the coalition. The key obstacle to reform remains Mr Mugabe, who shows no sign of wishing to step down. |
^ Hmmm! And what do those you represent want, if not our oil and a few odd 13 year olds? Last time I looked, the "kingmaking" governor of Kaduna was a Christian and "Northern" governors like Jang and PDP heavyweights like Lar have urged Uncle Joe to run. . . Charlie, your "kingmaking North" is beginning to look as small as Tanko Yakasai's compound. ![]() The Northern leaders we recognise and respect are not thieves and cradle robbers, but the Umars, Ribadu's, El-Rufai's, Masari's and numerous other Northern progressives (some of whom were hounded into exile by "Nothern kingmakers" .After 40 years of power, what do your kingmakers have to show aside from poverty and underage Egyptian "brides"? |
Thank God, we have a President who seems to be the thinking type. Decentralisation is the obvious solution to Nigeria's energy crisis. Most analysts feel it would be attractive to mostly Chinese and Indian coy's, but all we need are a couple of US coy's to drop a few nuclear reactors on the scene. . . And voila, electricity crisis gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More than the above, do you guys know that the Sahara recieves enough Solar insolation to provide the whole World with electricity? Think of if the Sahara was in the West. We are our own enemy for not seeing what is under our noses. Northern Nigeria can easily provide Nigeria with Solar electricity, but the Yerima's up there are too busy thinking about PDP power rotation (birthright), PHCN transformer sales, 13 year olds and the best ways to stamp down the true Northern leaders like Ribadu and El-Rufai. |
^ It is a disgrace that any of your friends can defend Yerima. Tell them off in in clear-cut, unmistakable terms!! There is no religion that advertises se'x with 13 year olds, anything to the contrary is a smokescreen for the ignorant by their puppet masters. What they are doing is defending paedophilia and using their backward minds and primeval "logic" as justification. Would those same people defend the backward culture that leads to the ra'ping of little babies (yes, babies!) and goats in South Africa; all because there is a tradition that says, se'x with a virgin or an animal will cure AIDS? I guess not. |
@ OAM4J and princekevo. Thanks ever so much for the kind words. I've been so incredibly occupied that the normal 24 hours is just not enough. While some of the things I’m doing are personal, the one closest to heart is building a World class technology framework to bring biz opportunities and tangible development to the masses. It’s a lot of effort, but it is the sort of thing each and everyone of us must participate in at some level to snuff the corrupt oxygen that Nigeria’s vampires, demons, IBB’s, paedophile Yerima’s, Ibori’s and various other little Lucifer’s survive on. . . .I hope I haven't gone overboard . |
. . . Really?!! For stealing all Delta states money and assisting a dangerous cabal whose activities bordered on treason? Wonders shall never cease! |
Ibori seeks political asylum in Dubai By Akin Oyedele, Abuja Thursday, 27 May 2010 The planned extradition of the embattled former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to the United Kingdom may not materialise as he is said to be seeking political asylum in the Arab country. Our correspondent gathered that the twist was introduced into the matter, on Monday, when Ibori’s loyalists arrived in Dubai with documents alleging political persecution against him. A Presidency source said that the development might provoke a diplomatic row between Nigeria and the UAE, following fears that the Arab country might grant the request. The source said that the intelligence community on Monday submitted a report to President Goodluck Jonathan detailing the activities of the associates of the ex-governor in Dubai. It was also learnt that the development had stalled the filing of the necessary papers for the extradition of the ex-governor to the UK The London Metropolitan Police had since 2005 been trailing Ibori over money laundering for which some of his associates and family members are undergoing trial in the UK. The move by Ibori’s loyalists was also said to have put paid to efforts by the Met. police and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to try Ibori in Dubai. According to our source, the influence of “this network of friends and political associates” is responsible for what he described as “the non-challant attitude” of the UAE police on the Ibori case. He said, “For you to know the extent that they have gone, they have also pleaded to the Vaswani brothers (who are influential in the UAE) to come to the aid of Ibori by ensuring that the asylum is granted. “The fear of the Presidency is that the UAE might grant the former governor’s request for political asylum , because of their economic interest. You know they will not want to do anything that will tamper with their interest. “I am sure that you are also aware that many Nigerians have chosen Dubai as a place to invest and do business and to acquire landed property. Our fear is that the matter may cause diplomatic problem between us and the UAE. “The Presidency is watching the matter with keen interest and we will also do everything diplomatically possible to assist the EFCC to have a breakthrough in the planned trial of the former governor. “The intriguing thing about it is that since the man has been saying he is innocent of the charges, he should have come to the court to prove his innocence. “Several governors are being tried for corruption and nobody has accused the country of persecuting him.” When contacted on the new twist in the Ibori saga, the EFCC Head of Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Babafemi, tersely said, “I have no information on the issue you have just raised.” However, he confirmed that the EFCC operatives travelled to Dubai last week. The Chairman of the EFCC, Mrs. Farida Waziri, had on Tuesday expressed frustration with the alleged attitude of the international community in the country’s fight against corruption. She said that they were complicit in the spate of corruption in the country as some foereign nations assisted the perpetrators to stash ill-gotten wealth in their domain. Waziri had advocated the death penalty as the right punishment for people found guilty of corrupt practices. She said this while receiving Senator Smart Adeyemi who paid a solidarity visit to the commission. The EFCC said that by the time 20 corrupt people were executed others would sit tight. Waziri said, “When I had the course to address the international community, I told them that they knew what was happening, but they had turned the other way, because African countries (leaders) were siphoning money to feed their economy. “They know that some of our people are going to South-Africa, Dubai and UK to buy houses with cash and they know it is wrong because they know in their countries they use the credit system. “It is not that they love us, it is because we have oil. Look at Burundi, Rwanda, Somalia and Sudan having problems, nobody lifted a finger to help them because they don’t have oil. They know that they will go bankrupt if our money is repatriated from their system. “Whatever action that it will take for Nigeria to flight corruption, let us do it even if it is the death penalty. Believe me, that is the only way to eradic)ate corruption in Nigeria; when you execute 20 people, it will serve as a deterrent to others.” |
Nonsense! Make dem leave our uncle shege jare! The thing that is grinding us right now, is how an ex-gov turned senator has successfully organised an international "marriage" to a 13 year old child. How come there is little noise about this in the West? Is it more acceptable than homophobia? |
All we need do now, is hang that disgrace of a man by his dangly bits. Nothing wrong with applying "sharia" law to that animal. ![]() The whole World must now think all Nigerians are paedophiles that "marry" kids. |
