If the Nigerian legislature fails to impeach yaradua after making Nigerians a laughing stock then i will have no option but to pray for a coup d' etat. Afterall, Democracy in Nigeria is a flop and we can all see that.
In your prayer, make sure to mention that the coup must not extend beyond your compound. I think God will be happy with that.

There is going to be an international corruption sledge hammer that will flatten all of them.
Responsible Northerners will be chosen to truly lead and develop the area. There will be no more Boko Haram and marriages of 50 year old men to 13 year old girls. No more almajiri and deliberate poverty inflicted on the population as a political tool.

For the first time since 1960, the Northern masses are about to be liberated. grin
Personally, I wont be quick to blame the americans for the recent earthquakes in haiti and chile. But as the issue of the americans having earthquakes weapons, I would say that is a fact. America,russia and china have earthquake weapons aka H.A.A.R.P.

One thing about conspiracy theories is that it sounds very bizarre and ridiculous, to add sufficient proof are not always available to back up the claim, and that is why some people are quick to dismiss stories such as this as conspiracy.

However, one thing I have come to understand over the years is that a few cabal of people rule this planet, and they are embedded in organisation such as ilumanti,NWO,trilateral commission, council on foreign relation,bilderberg group and of course skulls n bones!!!. Information and objectives of these organisation are very supercial and someone who isnt an "insider" would be quick to dismiss the existence of these organisation as another conspiracy.

These organisation controls the world including the media, and that is why it is difficult to get information on them!!!
Earthquake weapons does exist
Seriously, you forgot okija and jankara "spare parts" market. Do you think they will be happy? grin
For your info, okija and jankara people are the winshes responsible for all earthquakes in Africa. They fly at night and don't even need HAARP.

@pcicero

True.

I believe that at this time, nothing short of a young, true and progressive Northerner will do, if the North is to get the VP slot. The likes of Ribadu, col Umar and El-Rufai fit the bill.
the only way to move this country forward is bringing development and education to the North; close down avenues for child marriages, Boko Haram and Kala Kato and let the Northern masses see that they can aspire to be anything.

Danjuma cannot deliver these things, he is part of the rotten old wine.

@Aisha
He might have helped a few, but that doesn't take away from his part in killing the country.

You people will  have to come out of the bush sooner or later. You have been taken out of the bush to overseas, the onus is now on you to remove the bush from within   cheesy   Now let me put on protective gear.
My friend go and sleep! Have you ever seen the yawning gap in education between North and South? Or maybe you just don't know the meaning of bush (abi it has another definition in "Northern interest"? grin).
The sad thing is that the education gap absolutely worsens everyday, so does the gap in poverty as well. Year on year, the North gets worse than the South.
This really makes me wonder, what exactly is this "Northern interest" you are defending here, if not simply an avenue for crime, theft, arson, murder and Boko Haram?

Free yourself, there is nothing like the nebulous "Northern interest". It is a ruse to steal from the poor, loot NNPC and cripple the CBN.

Blame your leaders and change them. Demand more from them. Southerners just observe and record what they see.
Beaf, You of all people should know that in democratic settings, there exists interest groups that fight for their collective interests.  There is nothing wrong with that and even you are free to form your own interest group.  It should not concern you that certain people including the elite, form interest groups and fight for whatever cause they choose.  Learn from them and do the same - these elite are counting on the fact that you have no guts to form such interest groups, they also hope that your rants are limited to the internet where they remain impotent.

I will remind you once again that the elite who claim to be working for the interest of Northerners, for the most part, work for their own personal interests. Its the same game in every corner of the nation. If it pains you that "no interest group exists that fights for Southern Interests", then form one and stop complaining, olodo.
Crap.

You are only going round in circles. Guts? shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked Stop sounding like a clown, you can see your brothers crying here from the effects of the actions of criminals who are falsely plying their trade in the name of "Northern interests".

The problem with the North is the lack of media houses and paucity of education, problems that rest squarely on the necks of those claiming to be fighting for "Northern interests".

It falls on every educated Northerner to disown these people or complain in vain.

Politics › Re: Wrong Or Misguided Statement On North And South Regarding Yar'adua And His Peopl by Beaf: 6:41pm On Mar 01, 2010
The greatest problem the North has is that people like, Tanko Yakasai, Turai and her demons etc, claim to be fighting for the "Northern interest".
If the average Northerner does not scream "not in my name", there is little they can say to convince Southerners. There is no Southern decease, it is a genuine discomfort at the behaviour of powerful Northern politicians. Lets not bury our head in the sand.

As I said on another thread, I have never in my life heard of a term like "Southern interest", so why do we continue to hear about "Northern interest"? shocked
Or is the North bigger than Nigeria? Or is it a separate entity?

@beaf,
i hope it will continue. but thats so naive of goodluck to suspend it he could have inject some cash there not channelling it away from ministry of Defence. already now his polical caree is shaking. but personally i thing goodluck is a good man but people around him are bad and sentimental. sha lets all pray for the betterment of nigeria cos we the youth are at the recieving end. with God every thing is possible.
It was not suspended. I believe more could have been done to clarify every last detail without assuming that everybody will see things from the same perspective, but it is human to err.

I watched a news programme on AIT some days ago, were the dredging engineers and contractors were shown hard at work and they said, there was never an order for them to stop work. But it might be instructive to use other channels like BBC Hausa service etc to reach a wider audience effectively. In a more advanced country; the govts position, all the dredging phases , factors etc would have been put in widely disseminated simple drawings and illustrations. . . But you know our country, everything is official, even simple titles become COAS, AGF, CNS and all other mind boggling rubbish.

We will get there one day sha.

@Beaf
tell me who give amnesty to the ND Militance? Who created Ministry of ND?
or have heard of Ministry of North?
Moreover this dredging is to the benefit of the nation at large because it will boost the economy of the nation and reduce the use of road for goods transportation. if u can recall well as far back in the late 70s ship were coming down to the north. is just that now the river is block and it need some dredging. do you know how much is to use to renovate goodluck loadge?
dont be too sentimental?
Don't get me wrong. The dredging is important to everybody, but because it will make the river deeper and clear away obstructions to free flow, the water will flow at a much faster rate and if there is no preparation, it will flood and wash away coastal settlements. That is why work is being done to strengthen those areas before the dredging gets there. Dredging has not stopped, I even watched an interview with the engineers and contractors on site; dredging never stopped for a minute, its just Turai and the useless people around her that are spreading false rumours.
There is no sentiment involved, things just need to be done properly without being politicised.
