I think its too forward 4 anyone to rush to defend sisi one d strenght of sarcasm here. Its better done by her.

That other did not see d sarcasm(if its so) does not tell any thing about their intelligence or english but only their sense of humour. There is no need comparing them with Dame who has a very poor use of english. That u r taught 'sarcasm' in d english class does not make sarcasm exclusively english;it can occur in all understandable languages.
I trust my Sisi she felt it will be a waste of time to reply those guys.
If i can read the first post and not detect the sarcasm in Sisi's post then i will question my own intelligence.

Maybe I missed it, but where did it say the minister will be arrested huh
The probe panel set up by the House of Representatives probing the bogus contract of N4.5trn awarded to Single Window Systems and Technology (SWST) has summoned finance minister, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to appear before it today or face arrest. The panel also yesterday vetoed President Goodluck Jonathan’s decision to suspend the multi-billion naira concession agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a revenue facilitation company, Single Window Systems and Technology (SWST), which would have led to Nigeria loosing N4.5trn.

With the way he is 'presiding' over us one will even doubt if by 2015 there will entity called Nigeria and the GEJ himself will be so organized to organize an election.

Beaf:
Nigeria: Two suspected Boko Haram members shot in Nigeria

News - Africa news .Security-Nigeria - Armed soldiers Thursday shot two suspected members of the violent Nigerian Islamic sect Boko Haram, in the northern state of Adamawa, the military said.

A military spokesman, Lt.-Col. Idachaba Idu, told journalists in the northern city of Jos that the suspects, who were riding on a motorcycle, were shot after they fired shots from the assault rifles they were carrying in Song, Adamawa.

'One of the suspects was killed instantly while the other was injured,' he said.

Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for the series of deadly bombings in Nigeria, including last Friday's bombing of the UN House in the capital city of Abuja that left 23 dead.

The group is based in Maiduguri, capital of the northern state of Borno, but has apparently spread its tentacles to other northern states as well as Abuja.

PoliticsRe: Tension Very High In Kano by Beaf1: 3:49pm On Sep 01, 2011
This is true. With the killings in Jos it's just a matter of time before Kano will start it's own spill of blood.

The present governor was once a thug himself this was very obvious during the last election so dont expect to see any security measures to curb this, instead they will allow them to kill first and then the usual 'we strongly condemn this act' bla bla when people are grieving and mourning the death.

I weep for this country call Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Assess Me After One Year - GEJ by Beaf1: 1:23pm On Aug 26, 2011
Dear Mr President,

You are right on track.

Just a quick update:

We will assess you based on the number of bombs that have gone up since you assumed office including the one that have just gone off today at UN office in Abuja.

In fact it is going to be a continues assessment, you know what i mean,  JSS1, JSS2 and then at the end the overall result that's what we are going to do. We actually are doing it quarterly but since you want us to do it yearly we will be very happy do that. We just hope you can be able to cope with carry overs because you have failed 39 exams already. Lastly, we hope to see you graduate as you kept on promising us you will improve. In this university we dont tolerate drop outs as it is our rule that any student who drops out or absconds will face EXECUTION by our beloved and well trained allies Operation Anti Drunken Fishermen Unit a.k.a BK HARAMs

Thank you.

You've just got an admission into JSS 1, my brother you never see nothing. How can it continue this way with children that are yet to arrive in future. by the time you start buying pampers, cerelac, sma, toys, clothes, shoes, medical bills, text books, school fees etc, you'll now realise that life can never remain the same and you'll now realise that your wife has slightly or heavily changed from colour blue to colour red.
I wish you wisdom and understanding to lead your home shia.
Mummy3,

I think you got it all wrong. I think the picture you are trying to give suits your very person. Dont give me the "all women are the same" shit!

Pampers, Cerelac, Toys?? If i can buy new cloths, shoes, manage medical bills, pay my wife's tuition to pursue her 2nd degree, you think i blink when doing such for OWN baby child(s)? come on,

I have so many examples around me of those who can afford these things you've mentioned in folds but still crying out so loud. I love my wife and the kids that are underway and i can assure you i am not rich but working very hard continue this new found life!

When i look at myself in the mirrow i wonder what kept me from marrying my wife since the first few months we have met (we courted for one and half years).

Emotionally:

Financially:
So so prudent in spending and managing my finance.

Hyginically:
My wife is something else! She can even 'inspect' my shoes to make sure no sand or any dirt is attached to it before 'allowing' me into the house, can u imagine?

My marriage is 18 months and 15 days today and i always silently pray to God to let it continue this way till the end.

No one is contesting the fact that either by crook or by hook, Jonathan has been declared the winner.
However, No one should think Buhari has failed.

It may be the 'theoritical' 22 million voters for Jonathan or Jonathan himself- That is if he fails to deliver the goods
What really baffled me was that there was no jubilations/celebrations after the results were announced. To think 22 million Nigerians wants the status quo, free and fair election my foot!
After 4 years we will surely know whether it is Buhari, 22 million voters or GEJ that failed.
PoliticsRe: Foreigners Are Our Problem In The North by Beaf1: 1:15pm On Apr 29, 2011
Bishopking:
@op
Your argument is highly flawed sir.
To start with, I would say the nature of a community determines the accepted behaviour of foreigner living in it. You must know that the north is not the only place in africa where such people migrate to in good numbers. They go to northern ghana where the indigenous population also share same language, religion, complexion among others with them. Yet, it seems to me that the inhuman treatment and massacre of south nigerian people is unique to northern nigeria.
From historical perspective, your argument is even more ridiculous. We know that northern nigeria hausa people have always seen their southern neighbour as infidel to slaughter in order to get to paradise.
I know that most imams, politicians from the north who often incite their otherwise docile population to bloody massacre are true nigerians. We know them.
Based on these facts, I humbly say that your argument is amusing
The poster might be right! i read somewhere that most of these crazy/blood thirsty Almajiris were imported from neighboring chat and niger in search of livelihood, most of them were abandoned by their poor parents who does not know how to control their libidos and knows nothing about birth control. Of course they come in with their slades posing as students in search of Islamic education.
@Beaf:

1) "Begging the question" is a logic error, not a sin. Not dishonesty. It is simply assuming what one must prove/argue is true. Here are two examples:

A) If I'm trying to convince you of X, I cannot assume X to be true in constructing my argument. It would be begging the question to say, "Assume X. Then X is true.", and have that as an argument for the truth of X.
B) Suppose that it is true that X and Y logically imply Z. If the truth of statement X is also dependent on Z, then that would also be an example of begging the question. . . since for me to use X in my argument, I have to assume Z. So I'm implicitly assuming that the very thing I'm trying to prove true (Z) is true! Again, a logical error.

There are more examples and variants of this basic theme. But this in a nutshell is begging the question. Or at least, how I understand it.

2) Now, let's look at what I wrote, which you claim is begging the question. We'll # each sentence, too:
I guess you are interpreting the above to be an argument for the truth of statement #4. Thus, for you, statement #4 is my conclusion, what I am trying to prove/argue is true. By accusing me of "begging the question", you are claiming that somewhere in my argument, I've assumed that statement #4 is true in order to prove it.

Now, why exactly are you wrong? Why did I not beg the question? For the following reasons:
A) First of all, sentence #1, #2, and #3 are not being used as evidence for the truth of sentence #4. #1, #2, and #3, if true, do not imply #4.
B) I do not assume that #4 is true to ensure that any of #1, #2, or #3 are true. Sentence #1 is always true. . . it is a conditional statement. Same for sentence #2. The truth of sentence #3 of independent of that of #4.
C) At a more fundamental level, none of what I wrote was a proof or argument for #4. I cannot be accused of begging the question if I'm not even arguing for #4.

So in a very technical, precise sense, I did not beg the question. Hopefully this should be enough to convince you or anyone else reading.

If anyone here is good at logic as well and you've caught a mistake made by me, please feel free to chime in. It has been a while since I've taken philosophy, so I could easily have made a minor error somewhere above.
Ok Sir,
All understood. It's break time Sir, can i go have some snacks because i am really hungry and i feel like 'peeing'

PoliticsRe: Joy In Kano Over Rumour Of Military Coup In Nigeria by Beaf1: 1:14pm On Apr 18, 2011
HIROSHI:
After hours of protests and looting of shops belonging to non-indigenes, over the loss of the presidential election to President Goodluck Jonathan; supporters of General Buhari were seen jubilating in Kano when they saw military planes hovering over the Metropolis.

They concluded that there was a coup and the jubiliation cut across the masses and the some elites who equally would not want an 'arne' (meaning non-believer) being declared the winner.

They were also seen chanting 'a raba' (the country should be divided).
Seun how can topics like this finds its way to the frontpage a minute it is created?
mR HIROSHI or whatever you are called stop speading lies. I know there is tension in Kano ( i am in Kano right now), there is no such thing as jubilation because of coup.
