Okay. I earlier mentioned a concept called 'Womanism', a slight deviation and afro-centric feminism considering the black reality at home and diaspora.
What exactly is their goal?

and men are weak by your analogy?
Our discussion was narrowed down to childbirth.

Strong or weak, it all depend on individual(male or female) as far as I'm concerned

So what is the rationale behind feminism in the west where 'we are equal' is clearly shown in action? My point is only to show that women of renown throughout all history of the various peoples of the world have made their mark naturally knowing we are equal and didn't see any need to be so pushy about equality like today's woman.

More like a conceited insecurity undecided
I speak for Africa and not for the western countries.

Funny enough, I'm not a feminist but I want an Africa where women are treated right.
Even here on NL, the prejudice is just too much

Are there not women across different races, regions and times in the world that believe in equality of rights, yet do not adorn the 'feminism' tag?

Except attention-seeking, there's no reason to 'fight' for equality when you already believe we are equal. It negates its aim.

We are equal right? So why 'fight' for equality? undecided
You think so?
'We are equal' is never shown in action in this part of the world where a guy feels it's degrading to wash the plate used by a lady. In his words, 'mere lady' and no guy thought it wise to caution him

Are you for or against the fight for equality?

BTW
not all families accept bride price and the wedding expenses are mostly shared between the two families. At least, from my experience so far as a Yoruba. Yet, the slave master thing is still waxing stronger daily.
