Agape greetinz..my BS,towards friday evenin,my co-wife drove in to check on me as at abt 2.pm as she earlier promised.i had severe contraction,and she drov me down to the hospital around 5.30pm,was admitted,but the contraction got serious around 12am on saturday mornin.i was rushed into the theatre,and they injected me and tried to burst the baby Sac,but i didnt gave them that chance,cus it was painful.i was later given HOT drip,and that was when i had an encounter with the Angels.i was crying callin on my MIL to come and bundle me outta the delivery room.i was shoutin and raisin the roofs.lol i started speakin both ukwuani,isoko and hausa lingua together.it got to a point that,i just took the drip from the stand and ran nakedly..*who cares*mehn it was like goin berserk.mil started cryin,pleadin and prayin.i shove the four nurses away from me,while lyin down on the delivery table. I never knew i had such strenght.at some point,they called in the chubby doc,and i was pinned down.and was forced to open my legs,when they said,if you kill this child,you go see wetin i do you.at that point,i started shoutin...Doc,i want to Poo,i want to poo ooo.i had wanted jumpin down from the Bed,when one nurse said,shit for there,annie i say shit ontop the bed.i told them to leave me alone,no body spelt labour for me,when i screamed i am poo-ing ooo.they said,its the baby's head,and my laps were not opend that much,they gave me a tear.i had to wide it and pushed myself gingered by the hot drip and pain. I felt relieve when chiagoziem Ewomazino lydia osanebi came into the world.and she cried,then the placenta came out. I had already to one dark complexion nurse while i was in the delivery room that,i ll quarel with her,infact we quarelled.but i had to apologize when i have finished my heavenly race.my child came into this world @ about 11:15am on saturday 20 june 2015.and we left for home me,chiagoziem and my sweet mil..mrs Lydia osanebi. Hard truth z...to deliver a child z no beanscake.thumbs up to my mother. My husband hard to drive down from benin yesterday,and Nna the omugwo peppersoup was prepared by him.i wish all pushin mamas,ttc safe delivery. Very special thanks to God and Doc Thorpido.

I no fit do weeks cos it takes 7 whole days for 1 week to shake body. I no fit frustrate dey wait 7 days to change .

Let's say I have 35days (+-) to go & when I wake up tommorrow it will be 34 days instead of still being the same 5wks, when 7days waka I fit adjust my psyche to 4wks then go 27 days till day 22 and voila 3wks.

That's my coping mechanism cos I don max out!!! I know its weird though.

I also counted in days because it's progresses daily and not weekly as you said. Baby centre application that I downloaded help with the counting because everyday I wake up,i see you have so so so days to go.

I just checked out the cow and gate egg custard (looks really nice). Please how do you prepare it? do you feed with bottle or bowl? should it be watery? do i have to add anything to it like BM or formulae

I put half into his feeding bottle,cover the remaining and refrigerate

I spoon feed him. It takes time though but I'm always patient since I know he is still a baby. Once I see he is tired of spoon feeding, I added milk to it and bottle feed him

I don't add milk to only the cocktail if he is tired of spoon feeding it. Just little warm water and bottle feed.

NB:once opened,must be used in 48 hrs.

Heinz oatmeal, cow&gate rice,banana.
I also give cow&gate egg custard, cocktail (those in small bottles) @300 and also Heinz chocolate ( small tin)@250.

NB: all the above are for four months and it's boldly written on it.

Now I have switched to gerber rice meal cereal and oatmeal cereal (supported sitter)

Their reason is that the baby's digestive system is not strong enough to digest cereal at 4 months. I was looking at introducing it to my DD when she's 4month to be taking at the creche instead of expressed BM cos I have fears that they may not be handling the expressed BM well.

I'm also not comfortable with expressing BM for them to give him in creche.

We were arguing this in my office yesterday oh. Sabi mamas in my office said cereal at 4 months is a no no! because i told them i want to get for my DS at 4 months, they insisted it has to be BM or formula till shes 6months. Please enlighten me on this.

My charming prince eats a lot so I had to introduce cereal @ four months. I want to wait till six months or later before I give him pap. He ate 9 tins of Nan+ breastmilk @ 3 months. They complain of him not getting filled on time in creche. But now, with the introduction of the cereal everything is okay. There are cereal made for four months old babies so why is it a no no?

I started with SIMILAC gold when I was in ibadan but on getting to lagos, I didn't see the exact one I bought in my area,then I switched to NAN 1 after the first tin because of the availability as advised here not to change milk every now and then.

You can buy NAN 1,its very very easy to get

My BS : it started on sat as I went to report to d hospital d Doc checked me n said I was admitted n shld ask dem to bring my bag as am 6cm gone I told Mamas here n they were happy little did I know dat it was a prank or so to say. I stayed sunday mornin n they checked again n said 1cm. Da was wen I knew I was in for somfin. I was induced wth mistoprosol n labor started I was shouting bt neva cried. Arnd 2am I was taken to labor room n was asked to push wen contraction comes. After some pushes I was given a terri ble cut dat reached my anus den 2more pushes baby came. In all I tank God for His mercy. Na d cut I dey suffer now since monday I no fit go toilet cos of d pain. God is gud
