Take a 100k loan. at least you can conviniently pay back in case he defaults. Just test him with that first and see how it goes. Don't just turn him down outrightly.

As at the time i posted this, i saw 5 people delivery date only. Dont know if its same for everyone. But nevertheless, 30 will be paid at least 1week before that date if truly Survival Fund is serious.

I think the 30k will be paid soon. Cos i saw some people's delivery date is 22nd of this month. Definitely, the first payment for mobilization should be done not less than 1 week before that time cos of adequate preparation.

How u spend your money isnt the government business or fault. I know an igbo guy in my area who is into paga business and selling of perf and cream. God so good he had CAC for his business. I told him about the opportunity cos i have been doing transactions from his shop for over 2yrs. I told him abouy MSME Grant and applied for him on his phone. He was called and verified. Got credited 50k. He was so glad and sent me 5k for appreciation even when i didnt request for it.
Till tomorrow anytime i drive pass his shop he will stop answering customers and come to greet me. He said most of the money he has been using for business are loans. But the grant of just 50k made it possible for him to stock his shop with more perf and creams with other stuffs which will further boost his income.
I did payroll support for my younger bro just to earn from my company. He got credited 90k and got a laptop for his graphic design business.
Not everyone will use the money for something tangible. Once u have a poor mentality about money, even if they assist u with 10m u will lavish it with nothing to show

I am a CEO from Lagos. I registered 8 of my staffs. They all got 30k three times between May 1 to May 10 this year. A friend also registered 5 of his staffs last year and got paid 30k three times around December.
I have an uncle i registered for in Ibadan but is yet to get paid. Hopefully he will get paid soon as well.
As for MSME grant of 50k, i have 3 people i reistered for and got 50k one time payment btw April and June.
Though there are some lapses in the program cos not everyone got paid as i still have 2 companies i registered for who are yet to get paid in Lagos and Oyo state.
I could attach screenshots of alert as a proof.

The fact u didnt benefit doesn't mean nobody did.
Moreover in this part of the country, so many people are always coded with money. Even some people i registered for denied receiving the money until after 3weeks.

In every bid for a contract or project, there are always underground runs and shuffling involved. Qatar hosting world cup was thru runs and bribe. Same applies in various aspect of life. Its not just a Nigeria thing. It is what it is. But u see most companies in Nigeria can only bribe and get a contract, executing it is the main problem.
Most of out ATM machines are yet to be effective. Sometimes u pay thru paystack or interswitch and face wahala.
I cant forget December 2019 when my money got stucked. Till Feb 2020 before i was able to get a reversal for a failed transaction. And this was after i called them out on twitter.
I had the chance to be out of Nigeria for many years and i know the difference.
We arent ripe for some tasks. It is better for our fintechs to learn from BITT once they commence operation and up their game as well. Who knows what will happen in future.
